DFS Lineup Construction Thoughts
Its a smaller slate tonight with just 4 games but truth be told I like these slates because if you can nail just one stack you'll win in most cash lobbies and give those GPPs a good look. There are several ways to attack tonight the most obvious in the Avalanche but they're going to be chalky. You'll need pieces but don't over invest. I am more likely to take a stab on the Flyers, Stars and Coyotes tonight with a pinch of Ducks. Most of those games should see goals and the players are cheaper than playing Colorado.
Recommended DFS Starting Goalies
Top Options for Saves
Jordan Binnington vs Colorado Avalanche
Lukas Dostal vs Arizona Coyotes
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen vs Philadelphia Flyers
Best Odds for a Win
Jake Oettinger vs Calgary Flames
Ivan Prosvetov vs St. Louis Blues
Favorite Goalies to Use for DFS Lineups
Jake Oettinger, Dallas Stars
The Flames are going through the ringer right now as a team and playing the Stars is not what the doctor ordered for them. Calgary ranks 3rd to last in expected goals per 60 this season at just 1.59 and Oettinger is a certified stud. He should get the win but the saves ceiling could be capped because the Flames are so bad right now.
Karel Vejmelka, Arizona Coyotes
I will be honest the Coyotes have impressed me so far this season with their play and Vejmelka has been a big part of it. Despite his 2-3 record he is holding down a .926 SV% and has scored at least 15.7 DFS points or more on DK in 4 of 5 starts this season. Its a great matchup for him and the Yotes tonight and one of my favorite goalie plays.
Carter Hart G, Philadelphia Flyers
What else can I say other than the fact that Carter Hart is back! He has a 2.29 GAA with a .921 SV% so far this season and also has a shutout under his belt and has looked oh so confident in the process. Philly is playing great defense overall too right now and while the Sabres like to shoot the puck they aren't scoring a ton right now at 3 goals per game. They will for sure pepper Hart tonight with their 32.5 shots per game which gives a great ceiling.
Recommended DFS Skaters
Highest Implied Goal Totals
Colorado Avalanche vs Jordan Binnington (3.78)
Arizona Coyotes vs Lukas Dostal (3.68)
Dallas Stars vs Jacob Markstrom (3.65)
Favorite Skaters to Use for DFS Lineups
Nathan MacKinnon C, Colorado Avalanche
This guy will undoubtedly be the chalk of the slate and for good reason, he is the best player going tonight! MacKinnon rarely has a complete let down game and the ceiling is through the roof with 5 games at 20+ DFS points already this season. Not to mention the Blues aren't very good and will probably allow 4 or more goals tonight.
Roope Hintz, C, Dallas Stars
He doesn't have the eye popping numbers like MacKinnon does but Hintz is very consistent with 4 double digit DFS outings in 6 games this season for an average of 12.4 points per game. I am fading Calgary hard tonight and this is the first person I am looking to plug into my lineups.
Clayton Keller, W, Arizona Coyotes
I am fully on board with the Coyotes offense right now that has scored 15 goals over the past 3 games coming into tonight. The centerpiece of this offense is Keller who has 4 goals on the season and 4 assists as well. He has a good baseline at shooting the puck too with 28 total shots on goal through 8 games.
Travis Konecny, W, Philadelphia Flyers
Not really sure how you can fade Konecny right now with his 8 goals already this season! The guy has been a machine averaging 16.5 DFS points per game on DK and gets a Sabres team that is allowing the 6th most DFS points to left wingers this season.
Miro Heiskanen, D, Dallas Stars
Once again, full fade on the Flames today! They allow the MOST DFS points to blue liners this season and the Stars top man is due for a big one tonight, lock him in.
Sean Durzi, D, Arizona Coyotes
Here's a player that has been a cash cow for player props or at least shots on goal this season. He has 21 thus far to go with 7 points and has had 6 double digit DFS point games already on the year, seems like an easy plug and play to me.
