NHL DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups & Stacks Today: Wednesday Playbook

Published: Mar 26, 2025
Welcome to another batch of NHL DFS picks! We have a compact 4-game slate with only one game projected to be higher scoring so we need to pick our spots carefully.
We can’t pay up for every superstar, so choices will need to be made. Let’s not waste any more time, we’re jumping into the action and taking a look at which players we need to keep an eye on.
NHL DFS Picks & Daily Fantasy Playbook Today, March 25th
Before we get into NHL DFS picks, let’s make some pick’em picks for the night over on Sleeper.
There are lots of ways we try to fill your wallet over here at Fantasy Alarm and this is just another option.
NHL Pick 'Em Picks On Sleeper Fantasy Today
- David Pastrnak O/4.5 SOG
- Quinn Hughes O/2.5 SOG
No team in the NHL is allowing more shots on goal than the Ducks over the past 10 games at 32.9 per game! Enter David Pastrnak who is far and away the biggest stat producer for Boston and has the ability to take over a game. The offense overall may be in the dumps for Boston but Pasta is going to pad his stats tonight no matter what.
The Islanders are allowing 31.4 shots on goal over the past 10 games and that's why the line of 2.5 shots for Quinn Hughes is just mispriced. He has averaged 2.9 shots on goal this season as well and in a game they should control play give me this prop all night long!
Tuesday Salary Cap NHL DFS Picks
Goalie Of The Day: Lukas Dostal - ANA
It has not yet been announced who will start for the Ducks tonight but between Dostal or John Gibson I love the spot for the Ducks goaltenders tonight. Its a bit risky when considering they may lose the game but the Bruins on offense have really struggled over the past 10 games scoring just 23 total goals. That stat mixed with the fact that the Ducks allow a lot of shots means the ceiling for the Anaheim goaltenders is higher than most tonight.
Player Of The Day: Quinn Hughes - VAN
Its not often that a blue liner is the player of day but given the slate and the potential for lower scoring games I love the spot Hughes is in tonight against the Islanders. Hughes does it all for his team and plays nearly half the game of total ice time through the top pairing on defense and the top powerplay unit. He is also over double digit DFS points in 5 of the last 6 games and the Islanders allow the 9th most DFS points to defenseman on the season.
Value Play Of The Day: Matt Duchene - DAL
Duchene very quietly is leading the Stars in points this season and has the 2nd line of the Stars humming along! In the month of March, Duchene has collected 11 points points and 22 shots on goal and with the Oilers not playing their best hockey right now I could see him outperforming his salary tonight and being a key piece to your lineups in this small slate.
Stack Of The Day - ANA L1 (Ryan Strome, Frank Vatrano & Troy Terry)
Attacking the Bruins will be the key to the slate today as they've struggled and the Ducks can score goals in bunches from time to time. This is the best line on the team by far and they rank 12th in NHL in goal for per 60 minutes among lines that have played over 400 minutes together. The line can come at a bargain too so we can fit in other player options in the lineups we put together.
