Goalie Of The Day: Igor Shesterkin - NYR
Most of these games on the slate are projected to be lower scoring so goaltending could win the day and I am going to put my faith in the hot hand of Shesterkin. He did have a hiccup last week but overall, in the month of January the man was rolling and had a .921 SV% and 2.07 GAA, the man is bouncing back.
Tonight, he gets a Boston team that is awful on the road and just played last night so he should be the lock goaltender of the day.
Play Of The Day: Connor McDavid - EDM
I mean in a 3-game slate where the Oilers are playing the Blackhawks is anyone surprised with this call? Fade him at your own risk with a player pool this small and with Chicago allowing the 7th most DFS points to centers this season on DraftKings.
McDavid has at least a point in 9 of the past 11 games and he should get multiple tonight, don't overthink this and plug him in.
Value Play Of The Day: J.T. Miller - NYR
The new kid on the block for the Rangers is still being priced as a Canucks player so we must take advantage of that! He's already the top line center and is on the powerplay unit 1 for the Rangers in a matchup against the Bruins and Joonas Korpisalo that could get out of hand fast.
Add to the fact that he already has 2 assists since returning to Broadway and his homeward bound tour is just getting started. I would find a way to play him tonight.
