NHL DFS Goalie Play Of The Day
Andrei Vasilevskiy - TB
This should come as no surprise but after a slow start to the season Vasilevskiy is once again shutting down the opposition and comes into tonight's tilt against the Flames with a 2.24 GAA and .921 SV%. Both marks are top 10 in the NHL right now and in terms of goals saved above expected he ranks 5th at 16.7.
Tampa Bay is also tough as nails at home with a record of 20-9 straight up on the season while the Flames are under .500 on the road and are scoring just 2.46 goals per, the 6th fewest in the NHL so this play is a slam dunk.
NHL DFS Skater Of The Day
Jack Eichel - VGK
You all know the name well now after the 4-Nations Faceoff tournament and its one to watch for tonight as the Golden Knights take on the Blackhawks in the desert.
Since the break Eichel has gone over double digit DFS points in all 3 games and will look to get on the goal sheet tonight against a Chicago team that allows 3.45 goals per game on the road, 8th most in the NHL.
The Blackhawks allow the 7th most DFS points per game to centers this season as well so look for a multi-point game from Eichel tonight in what should be a blowout in favor of Vegas.
NHL DFS Value Play Of The Day
Matvei Michkov - PHI
It pains me to write this up, but the Penguins are full on tanking now and they are just bleeding goals against any and all competition right now. Michkov is in a perfect spot against a Pittsburgh team that has allowed 19 goals over the last 3 games and it's not going to get better.
Michkov plays on the 3rd line but don't be fooled by that he sees major ice time and skates with the top powerplay unit for the Flyers. He's also running hot right now with 5 points in the 2 games since the midseason break and the Penguins allow the 3rd most DFS points per game to right wingers on the season.
NHL DFS Skack Of The Day
VGK L1 (Jack Eichel, Ivan Barbashev & Victor Olofsson)
Vegas has the highest implied total tonight on the board so no surprise they are getting stacked up! Eichel will cost a pretty penny but his linemates will save us a lot of bankroll with both of them sitting at a salary of under 4.5k. The late-night hammer comes cheap, and I am here for it, ride heavy against Chicago and back Vegas tonight.
