Red Wings vs. Blues Predictions: Tuesday, April 1st
This cross-conference matchup is a huge one tonight as the Red Wings sit a few points out of the playoffs and the Blues are trying to hang onto that final spot in the West! They are in completely different planes of existence right now though as the Blues have won 9 straight games and the Red Wings have lost 6 of the last 10!
As many of you know that have been following along in the month of March, we have made a killing back the Blues so why jump off the money train? They are the hottest team in hockey right now with 42 goals over their last 10 games the most in the NHL during that time and the defense with Jordan Binnington in net has allowed just 18 or 1.8 goals per game!
The Red Wings on the other hand are losing a lot of close games and have slipped out of a playoff spot. It’s not too late to make up ground but with time running out they may miss the postseason again! They’ve also been poor on the road this season where they will be tonight with a record of 15-20 straight up on the Money Line.
Give me the Blues to continue their hot streak tonight as Binnington and crew are locked in right now and should win in regulation.

Heliot Ramos went 3-for-4 in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Monday.
Ramos was one of the few hitters who had any offensive success against Merrill Kelly in a game where the GIants were held to just one run by Kelly and the D-Backs’ bullpen. The three knocks ups his average to .290, and he’s been on fire in the month of May with a .400/.472/,800 slash over his 30 at-bats in that timeframe.
Corbin Carroll hit a pair of solo homers to help the Diamondbacks to a 2-1 win over the Giants on Monday.
Shelby Miller picked up a save with a scoreless ninth inning against the Giants on Monday.
Justin Verlander allowed just two runs over six innings but still took a loss Monday against the Diamondbacks.
Merrill Kelly struck out eight while working seven strong innings of one-run baseball to get a win over the Giants on Monday.
Austin Wells hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs Monday in a victory over the Mariners.
