Welcome into NHL player prop central for the season on Underdog Fantasy! Player props are becoming one of the hottest growing things in hockey over the past few seasons and I have definitely taken notice as it adds yet another layer to a great game experience. Throughout this season you will find picks offered on the Underdog site that I find the most appealing as there are many to choose from so that's why I'm here to help you sift through the options.

For today's slate, we have 15 games on tap around the NHL and plenty of options for player props! I have highlighted a set of 3 props that I will be following tonight that includes 3 players around the league for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Florida Panthers and Montreal Canadiens! Good luck to everyone on the props tonight, let's win some cheddar!

NHL Underdog Fantasy Top Picks November 4

Evgeni Malkin, Pittsburgh Penguins - HIGHER than 3.0 Shots On Goal

The Penguins as a team have looked just sad but Malkin isn't fading because of it in fact he has been one of the greatest driving forces of the offense this season! In 9 games so far this season Malkin has collected a total of 30 shots on goal for an average of 3.3 per game. He has gone lower than 3 shots in just 3 games this season and a pair of those games he was locked in the penalty box often. His opponent tonight are the Sharks also and they allow 37.7 shots on goal per game, the most in the NHL right now.

Matthew Tkachuk, Florida Panthers - HIGHER than 3.5 Shots On Goal

Its been a bit of an inconsistent showing from Tkachuk so far this season as he has just 1 goal to his name and we are a month into the NHL season. Great players have ways of breaking out of slumps though and against the Blackhawks the matchup is a juicy one to get going again. Tkachuk has gone higher than 3.5 shots in 5 of 9 games this season and Chicago allows 34 shots per game, time to be great!

Cole Caufield, Montreal Canadiens - HIGHER than 3.5 Shots On Goal

If it wasn't for a stat correction in Thursdays game against the Coyotes Caufield would have topped 3.5 shots on goal for 4 straight games but alas the book keepers hate fun! Even without that incident the young Habs forward has gone higher than his prop in 6 of 10 games and is averaging 4 shots on goal per game. Tonight he gets the Blues on the 2nd night of a back to back too, should be prime for some big production in the offensive end.
