Here are some NFL player props that you must target this week on Thrive, and these players will also likely generate some interest for your Week 9 NFL DFS lineups. ThriveFantasy Top Picks NFL Week 9
Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins – OVER 86.5 Receiving Yards
Chicago is only about league average in terms of DVOA against the pass, but they are at their worst against WR1’s (15th) and in the slot. Well, guess who is this team’s WR1 and goes into the slot a good bit of the time? Well, that’s Hill! He has 100+ yards in three of his last five games and Tua Tagovailoa has a 108.5 passer rating when targeting Hill in the slot, per PFF.
Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings – OVER 78.5 Rushing Yards
Game script should be in Cook’s favor in this one as I don’t expect Washington to be playing from ahead in this game. Washington ranks quite well in terms of DVOA against the run, but Cook has 76+ rushing yards in five straight games, and he should get past this line in this contest. We are getting 110 points on Thrive for the over here, so I’m going to trust the workload and the talent to get there.
Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers – OVER 92.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
At first glance, this number might seem high, but consider the fact that Mike Williams will miss this game, and Ekeler has 28 targets over the last two games! Back in 2020, he posted 79 rushing yards and 67 receiving yards against Atlanta, and the Falcons have allowed the seventh-most and 11th-most receiving yards and rushing yards respectively to running backs this season. The volume will be there for Ekeler, and he’ll surpass this mark relatively early in this contest.
