Mark Andrews Sleeper Fantasy NFL Pick: More Than 4.5 Receptions

A lot of what is about to be said about Travis Kelce could be said about Mark Andrews. Sure, he isn’t dating Taylor Swift, but from a performance standpoint, the 2023 season was not a good one. Andrews suffered an injury that limited him to just 10 games as he finished with 45 receptions for 544 yards and six touchdowns.

This offseason has also been a bit of a shaky one as Andrews missed time during training camp with minor injuries but nothing that has led to any real concern that it would impact his availability for Week 1.

So, here we have it, with the Ravens offense. We know that they want to run the football, especially after signing Derrick Henry but let's not forget that offensive Todd Monken runs an offensive system that also likes to throw the football.

Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews are often synced up when on the field and with the Chiefs getting prepared to stop Derrick Henry, there are plenty of opportunities for Andrews to get involved in this game and get involved in this game early as they look to play spoilers to the Chiefs banner celebration.

Travis Kelce Sleeper Fantasy NFL Pick: More Than 5.5 Receptions

Believe it or not, Kelce’s 2023 season was considered a bit of a down year as he finished with 93 receptions for just 984 yards and five touchdowns. The 984 yards ended his streak of seven straight 1,000-yard seasons and his 121 targets were the fewest he has seen dating back to the 2016 season.

Now, yes, he did only play in 15 of the 17 games so there was certainly the potential and likelihood that he could have tacked on some additional stats but Kelce is 34, turning 35 in October and his high profile relationship with Taylor Swift is going to put his performances under a microscope, especially after he spent the offseason traveling around the world with Swift during her concert tour.

That said, the banner ceremony is going to have Arrowhead rocking and while there may be a bit of an adrenaline dump early in, eventually the theater ends, and football is played, and Patrick Mahomes knows that the Chiefs offense moves best with Travis Kelce getting the football. It’s primetime, Week 1 of the NFL season, and I’m going to be riding with Travis Kelce finishing with more than 5.5 receptions here against the Baltimore Ravens.
