NFL DFS QB Top Plays
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
No real shock here with Allen coming off a game where he threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns against a tough Miami defense. Allen again added 47 yards rushing to help boost his fantasy production over 30 points for the third straight week. In Week 4 he faces a Ravens defense that allowed Tua Tagovaioloa to throw for 460 yards and six touchdowns. I look for Allen, even on the road, to have yet another big performance this week.
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
My arm is sore from fisting pumping so much. Hurts has been every bit the stud this season that I had hoped he would be. He was on the cover of the Week 1 DFS coach and we know how well that worked out. In Week 4 he faces a Jaguars defense that has been impressive, coming off back-to-back wins against the Colts and Chargers but Hurts is really becoming a star. Known more for his mobility, Hurts has thrown for over 330 yards in back-to-back games while completing over 70% of his throws. The Jaguars have an elite pass rush but Hurts' mobility should keep Jacksonville from blitzing too much and stay in coverage with AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith causing issues for opposing secondaries.
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Jackson has the toughest matchup of the top three QB's in theory with Buffalos defense holding strong this season but the injuries now in the team's secondary can't be ignore here either. Jackson has also been a running machine, rushing for 226 yards and two touchdowns over the past two weeks. He also has seven passing touchdowns in those two games as well. Even as the leading fantasy points scorer at the position I think Jackson may go undrowned this week.
NFL DFS QB Mid-Price Plays
Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos
Is this the definition of insanity? We keep going back to Wilson because on paper this offense looks really good with Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy as the pass catchers but we all know this offense is also very much out of sync. Maybe a matchup against the 0-3 Raiders who just lost to Titans of all teams is what the chef orders here and we will finally see “Russ Cook”. Broncos Country, Let's ride!
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Does he play? If yes, then I am buying in. Prescott could potentially return from his hand injury here in Week 4 against a Washington defense that hasn't stopped anyone this season. We could also see the season debut of Michael Gallup as well which only adds another layer to this Dallas Cowboys offense.
NFL DFS QB Value Plays
Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
This game has a 50.5 total because both defenses are not very good. The Lions are going to be without D'Andre Swift this week and possibly Amon-Ra St.Brown but still the 50.5 game total for a QB under $6,000 is appealing. The Lions still have pass catchers in D.J. Chark and T.J. Hockenson who both have good matchups this week as well.
Matt Ryan, Indianapolis Colts
This is purely a matchup based play. The Titans have been awful defensively this season and while this could very easily be a game where Jonathan Taylor goes wild much like we saw Saquon Barkley do in Week 1 against the Titans, I do think Ryan is capable of giving us a similar performance like we saw last week where if not for the lost fumble he would have had 18 fantasy points. At $5,600 on DK, you will take 18 fantasy points from your QB.
NFL DFS QB Fades
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
I don't really know what is going on with Murray this season, sure he got us over 20 fantasy points in each of the first two weeks but he looked like absolute trash in doing so. The Panthers defense hasn't been too bad to start the year and Arizona is going to be on the road here which I'm not too keen on either for Murray's prospects. Maybe a returning Rondale Moore will spark this offense a bit but I'd rather take the wait and see approach on that one.
