Chiefs vs. Eagles Prediction, Player Props, Picks & Odds For Today, 2/9

Super Bowl 59 kickoff is just about here, but of course, we know that just like Christmas shopping, there are still fans looking for a last-minute Chiefs vs. Eagles prediction. Not to worry - we’ve got you covered. Rather than sweating out a pick on a winner tonight, we’re going to target the Chiefs vs. Eagles odds with a player prop.
It’s not one that will surprise you, but even if you end up with different Chiefs vs. Eagles best bets, we’ve also got a massive $1,500 BetMGM Sportsbook sign up bonus for you!
Chiefs vs. Eagles Prediction For Today's Game: Super Bowl 59
We’d bet that there will be quite a few fans that have focused their Chiefs vs. Eagles prediction on player props, or even one of the unique novelty props. That’s because these teams had a tight three-point game in the Super Bowl just two seasons ago, and this year, we have a tight 1.5-point spread.
It’s going to be a true chess match, and one thing we’ve been harping on this week is the great man-beating ability of Eagles WR A.J. Brown and the Chiefs tendency to run man coverage quite often. Of course, no Chiefs vs. Eagles prediction can be locked in without considering Philly RB Saquon Barkley.
He’s the glaring difference from when these teams met in the big game two years ago, and he just had an Offensive Play of the Year awarded to him after a 2,000+ yard season. He would be the factor that helps Philly get their revenge, but again, the focus of our Chiefs vs. Eagles best bets is elsewhere.
Player Prop Bets & Picks For Chiefs vs. Eagles Including Jalen Hurts
As mentioned, our best Chiefs vs. Eagles prediction isn’t one that’s going to shock anyone, but it’s simply too valuable to ignore. It’s also one that’s fun to root for - well, unless you’re a Chiefs fan.
While Brown will be looking to beat the man coverage, we’re sticking with the consistency of his QB. The ability of Hurts to find the endzone with his legs is uncanny, especially with the success of the polarizing tush-push.
That play has seen Hurts rank third among all players for rush attempts inside the five yard line this season, and that includes RBs! We’re fully aware that some fans may be hesitant tailing our Chiefs vs. Eagles prediction due to Barkley having so much success on the ground as well, which is certainly understandable.
However, the two are more than capable of each finding the endzone, which they each did in the NF Championship Game…three times! Furthermore, Hurts took over the Super Bowl against the Chiefs two seasons ago. Although Philly lost the game, Hurts found the endzone three times with his legs.
Even if it’s another last-second finish, we won’t have to sweat that outcome by making our best Chiefs vs. Eagles prediction on Jalen Hurts to score an anytime touchdown (-105 at BetMGM Sportsbook).

Injury Report for Chiefs vs. Eagles
Last but not least, don’t lock in any Chiefs vs. Eagles prediction, ours or otherwise, without the latest injury report for the Super Bowl. While there are more than just a few names, the most notable absence for Philly will be LB Zack Baun. As for the defending champs, KC’s concerns are ones that we’ve known about for a while, such as WRs Rashee Rice, Mecole Hardman and most recently, Sky Moore.

Player News
Dolphins signed No. 13 overall pick DT Kenneth Grant to a four-year contract.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Grant will sign his contract today. The former Michigan defensive tackle is expected to fill a major void left by Christian Wilkins, who left for the Raiders in the 2024 offseason. Grant totaled 32 tackles, three sacks, and seven TFLs in his final season at Michigan and excelled at stopping the run while also generating 27 pressures in his final season, per PFF.
Beat reporter John Hendrix reports that free agent WR Donovan Peoples-Jones is among the 16 players that the Saints will host for their rookie minicamp.
Peoples-Jones last played regular season snaps with the Lions back in 2023, when he caught 13-of-24 targets for 155 yards. He is highly unlikely to return to fantasy relevance at this point but could perhaps sign on as a special teams contributor.
Titans signed fourth-round pick WR Elic Ayomanor to a four-year contract.
Ayomanor will now begin learning behind Calvin Ridley. Although Ayomanor is unlikely to find a meaningful role in year one, dynasty managers should note his status as training camp gets underway this summer. The former Stanford receiver flashed big-play ability in his two college seasons.
Buccaneers signed seventh-round pick WR Tez Johnson to a four-year contract.
Johnson will serve as a rotational deep-threat option for Baker Mayfield. His thin frame (5'10/154) simply does not lend itself to the repeated hits one incurs in a full-time role. Johnson did earn 100-plus targets in his two seasons at Oregon, though. His big-play style make him a better fit in best ball for now, pending any major on-field breakthroughs.
Giants waived DT Casey Rogers.
Rogers was a 2024 undrafted free agent and logged 33 defensive snaps for the Giants in his rookie season. He is credited with zero tackles and/or sacks. He may find his way onto another roster as a practice squad option.
Vikings signed third-round pick WR Tai Felton to a four-year contract.
Felton is quietly in play to challenge Vikings No. 3 WR Jalen Nailor in training camp. Nailor (5'11/190) caught 28-of-42 targets for 414 yards and six touchdowns in his first season as a starter last year, with the latter category buoying his fantasy productivity. Felton (6'1/183), meanwhile, caught 96-of-143 targets for 1,119 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 2.32 yards per route run in his final college season. Fantasy managers should monitor Felton’s training camp reports this summer, as he could have a matchup-based WR5 role if everything falls into place.
