UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET

As we look ahead to Week 14 of the NFL season, there are some crucial injuries that just took place this past weekend that may shift the landscape of the rest of the fantasy football season. We hate seeing injuries in general, but it’s terrible when the likes of Lamar Jackson, Jimmy Garoppolo, Kenneth Walker III, and Courtland Sutton all go down. Let’s take a look at their injuries and the rest of the injury report as a whole as we turn over to a new week.

2022 NFL Injury Report Fantasy Football Week 14

NFL Quarterback Injury News

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens - Knee

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - Head coach John Harbaugh said it's likely that Tyler Huntley is going to start at quarterback for the Ravens this week. Jackson's not officially out, but he's listed as doubtful. He's all but out.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - Once again, Lamar Jackson did not practice on Thursday. We're expecting him to miss at least one game for the Ravens.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - As expected, Lamar Jackson did not practice on Wednesday and is potentially going to miss three weeks. While he's out, Tyler Huntley is going to be the Ravens starting quarterback.

After leaving Sunday’s game with a knee injury, it looks like Lamar Jackson is going to be week-to-week moving forward. Head coach John Harbaugh said Jackson is week-to-week but it’s unlikely that he plays in Week 14. It’s likely Tyler Huntley starts at quarterback for the Ravens in Week 14.

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins - Ankle

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - Head coach Mike McDaniel said that Tua Tagovailoa's ankle injury is a non-factor in Week 14.

After injuring his ankle this past week, Tua Tagovailoa did not finish the game against the 49ers but sources around the team suggested he could’ve finished the outing if it had been more competitive, according to NFL’s Tom Pelissero. There is no expectation that Tagovailoa will miss the Dolphins Week 14 game against the Chargers.

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers - Foot

What an unfortunate end to Jimmy Garoppolo’s season as the 49ers looked to be ascending to the top of the conference. Garoppolo suffered a broken foot in Sunday’s win against the Miami Dolphins and will miss the remainder of the 2022 season. The 49ers will likely continue to roll out rookie Brock Purdy at quarterback after he went 25-of-37 for 210 yards and two touchdowns in Week 13.

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams - Neck

With Matthew Stafford being placed on IR due to a spinal cord contusion, Stafford’s 2022 season is officially over. These past few weeks for Stafford were brutal as he suffered multiple concussions and this spinal injury. There has been chatter about the possibility he retires in the offseason, so that’s something we’ll definitely have to monitor heading into 2023.

John Wolford, Los Angeles Rams - Neck

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - With the Rams playing on Thursday Night Football, they've officially listed John Wolford as questionable with a neck injury. This will likely be the last time he could start this year as the Rams acquired Baker Mayfield off of waivers on Tuesday.

With the Rams playing on Thursday night, they put out an estimated practice report on Monday and John Wolford was listed as a DNP. He came out of Sunday’s game with a neck injury and considering it’s such a quick turnaround, it’s possible Wolford misses this game. Per head coach Sean McVay, Wolford is day-to-day.

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars - Toe

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - For the first time this week, we saw Trevor Lawrence practice and the Jaguars have listed him as questionable. The fact he was able to practice on Friday is a great sign for his Week 14 status.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - Thursday was Lawrence's second straight day in which he was unable to practice due to his toe injury. Head coach Doug Pederson suggested earlier in the week that he thought Lawrence would practice this week and he'll have another chance at that on Friday.

NFL Running Back Injury News

Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders - Quadriceps

It’s been a few weeks in a row in which Josh Jacobs has shown up on the Raiders practice report and maybe it brings him good luck because boy has he been dominant. It’s worth mentioning because he is on the report, but the estimated practice log has him listed as limited. He had 26 carries and 144 yards this past week, so I think his quad is probably feeling good enough to play in Week 14.

Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks - Ankle

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - This is not a surprise to see but Walker's not practicing on Wednesday per head coach Pete Carroll. Walker's status for Week 14 is in question, and so is DeeJay Dallas, so the Seahawks could be down their top-two running backs here.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was on the Seattle Sports radio station on Monday and said Walker’s injury is an unusual one. He has a strain on his foot and on the inside of his ankle. At this point, it’s unclear if he’ll be able to suit up in Week 14. We’ll have to monitor practice on Wednesday when we first see the Seahawks take the field, but if Walker cannot play, Tony Jones and DeeJay Dallas will likely split the duties.

Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals - Concussion

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - After missing two games, Joe Mixon has been removed from the Bengals' injury report and he's good to go for Week 14.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - Wednesday was the first time since Joe Mixon was placed in concussion protocol that he's practiced in full, which indicates he's out of it. Mixon's going to resume his role as the Bengals starting running back upon returning.

We expected Joe Mixon to clear concussion protocol last week after getting on the practice field until he didn’t. That gave Semaje Perine another heavy workload, but head coach Zac Taylor said “there’s a chance he can get cleared here early this week” about Mixon to the media on Monday. Things are trending in the right direction for the Bengals starting running back.

Michael Carter, New York Jets - Ankle

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - Carter has been removed from the Jets injury report heading into Week 14 as he has rid his ankle injury. That said, head coach Robert Salah was asked what Zonovan Knight's role would be and he said Knight isn't going anywhere. It'll be interesting to see how this backfield shakes out.

D'Onta Foreman, Carolina Panthers - Foot

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - The Panthers have removed D'Onta Foreman from their injury report and he's going to suit up in Week 14. Presumably as the team's number one option at running back.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - After not practicing on Wednesday, D'Onta Foreman was back on the field on Thursday. He practiced on a limited basis, but he said on Wednesday he was 95% sure he'd play and this is a definite good step in the right direction.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - We did not see D'Onta Foreman at practice on Wednesday but it sounds more precautionary than anything. Foreman said he thinks he injured it on the turf during the Broncos game. He also said he's 95% sure he'll play this week, but there's always that five-percent chance he doesn't.

Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers - Oblique

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - The Steelers have officially removed Najee Harris from their injury report and he's good to go for Week 14 after practicing on a limited basis to end the week.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - It didn't seem like it was serious on Wednesday and Harris getting back to practice on Thursday solidified that thought. He should be good to go barring a setback from now until their game against the Ravens.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - The Steelers put out their Wednesday practice report and Najee Harris was listed as a DNP. After some concern about not playing in Week 13, Harris suited up and played 66% of the snaps, so this is likely an injury management situation, but it's definitely something to monitor throughout the week..

Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Foot

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - He had been dealing with a hip injury for a few weeks and the foot is something new. He was still able to practice, just on a limited basis. He wasn't on the injury report, so something to monitor throughout the rest of the week. Fournette played 60% of the snaps upon his return last week.

Saquon Barkley, New York Giants - Neck

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - Barkley was once again practicing for the Giants on Friday on a limited basis. He has officially been listed as questionable as the Giants are set to take on the Eagles in Week 14. Videos from Friday's practice looked very positive for Barkley's status.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - Thursday's been a trendy day to be added to the injury report. The Giants added their star running back to the report with a neck injury. He practiced, but he was limited. Nothing coming from the Giants suggests it's serious, but something to monitor.

Damien Harris, New England Patriots - Thigh

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - Despite playing last Thursday and having a little extra time to recover, Damien Harris still hasn't been able to get onto the practice field. Harris has only played in nine games this year and has left multiple games due to injuries as well. Rhamondre Stevenson is the man as long as Harris is sidelined.

NFL Wide Receiver Injury News

Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins - Ankle

Jaylen Waddle was injured during Week 13’s game and was able to return, but it’s always worth noting because we’re unsure how players' injuries will react in the following days. The media asked Waddle on Monday how he felt and he said injuries are a part of the game and that he’ll be ready to rock in Week 14.

Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos - Hamstring

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - The Broncos have officially ruled Courtland Sutton out for Week 14's game against the Chiefs.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 5:45 pm ET - For a second straight day, Courtland Sutton did not practice and the expectation is that he's not going to play in Week 14.

It seems as if Courtland Sutton dodged a bullet on a serious injury as head coach Nathaniel Hackett said they’re listing Sutton day-to-day. That being said, the Broncos said the exact same thing about Jerry Jeudy’s ankle injury, and Jeudy ended up missing multiple games at a time. Let’s wait and see how things play out at practice this week before we assume Sutton is going to play in Week 14 against the Chiefs.

Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers - Ankle

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - Mike Williams has been removed from the team's injury report and will suit up for the Chargers in a must-win Week 14 game.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 5:45 pm ET - For the first time since spraining his ankle for the second time this year, Mike Williams was a full participant at practice. Things were trending in the right direction when he started off the work week limited and now this upgrade solidifies his in Week 14.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - The Chargers have an estimated practice report for Wednesday because they went through a walkthrough, but Williams was listed as a limited participant. Mike Williams is trending towards playing in Week 14, but we'll see how the rest of the week plays out.

After re-aggravating the same sprained ankle he sprained earlier in the year, it looks like Mike Williams is nearing a return..again. Head coach Brandon Staley said Williams is likely going to get back on the practice field this week, which bodes well for his Week 14 status.

Treylon Burks, Tennessee Titans - Concussion

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - The Titans have officially ruled rookie wide receiver Treylon Burks out for Week 14.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - Once again, Treylon Burks missed practice on Thursday and is all but out heading into Week 14. Returning from a concussion this quickly when he hasn't practiced by Thursday is not a good sign.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - As expected, rookie Treylon Burks did not practice on Wednesday as he's still recovering from a concussion. It was a scary hit that Burks took in Week 13 and with the added concussion rules added this year, it's highly unlikely we see Treylon Burks until Week 15 at the earliest.

It was an absolutely amazing catch that rookie Treylon Burks made but it came at a cost as he was knocked out of the game after being destroyed by an Eagle in the endzone. Burks was immediately ruled out and has since been placed in concussion protocol.

Jakobi Meyers, New England Patriots - Concussion

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - We found out today that Jakobi Meyers was placed in concussion protocol after not practicing on Thursday. This is terrible news for his Week 14 status.

Because the Patriots played on Thursday, we haven’t heard much from them, but Jakobi Meyers was unable to finish Thursday’s game. He was knocked out of the game and was unable to finish due to being hit in the endzone. He came into the game with a shoulder injury and left with a head injury. We’ll have to see what things look like for Meyers when the Pats resume practice this week.

Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers - Ankle

More reinforcements are on the way for the Packers after their bye week as head coach Matt LaFleur said the team expects Romeo Doubs to be back for their Monday night game in Week 15. Doubs hasn’t played since Week 9 and only played one snap that week before injuring his ankle.

Hunter Renfrow, Las Vegas Raiders - Oblique

It doesn’t help Hunter Renfrow that the Raiders play on Thursday night or there would be a very real chance at returning. Because there isn’t an actual week of practice, it doesn’t seem likely he’s activated this week even though he’s eligible. We’ll likely get a much more definitive answer from the Raiders on Tuesday, possibly Wednesday.

Ben Skowronek, Los Angeles Rams - Shoulder

Skowronek injured his shoulder on Sunday but the Rams feel good about his status for Week 14, despite playing on Thursday. Head coach Sean McVay called Skowronek “day-to-day” and the team listed him as a limited participant in Thursday’s estimated practice.

Nico Collins, Houston Texans - Foot

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - We heard on Thursday it was likely that Collins wasn't going to play this week and now the Texans have made it official. He's out for Week 14.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - According to reports from Aaron Wilson, it looks like Nico Collins is trending towards not playing in the Texans Week 14 clash against the Cowboys.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - After seeing 10 targets in Week 13 and seemingly coming out of the game unscathed, Nico Collins was not practicing on Wednesday. Collins dealt with a groin injury earlier this year and this apparent foot injury is a new one. We'll have to monitor this the rest of the week, but nobody is sounding the alarms that he won't be in the lineup in Week 14…yet.

Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans - Calf

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - We will see Brandin Cooks miss his second consecutive game in Week 14 as he's officially been ruled out.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - According to reports from Aaron Wilson, it looks like Brandin Cooks is trending towards not playing in the Texans Week 14 clash against the Cowboys.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - After missing Week 13's game, Brandin Cooks has started off the Week 14 practice week on the sidelines. The calf injury has hindered him enough to miss multiple weeks of practice now and we'll need to see him either Thursday or Friday in order to see him play in Week 14.

Amari Cooper, Cleveland Browns - Hip

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - After being given Wednesday off for a rest day, Cooper practiced on a limited basis on Thursday due to a hip injury. Cooper has played in every game this season so this something new. We'll have to monitor his status on Friday but nobody is sounding any alarms about missing any time.

Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals - Hamstring

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - After being a mid-week addition to the injury report, Tee Higgins has been removed from the injury report just two days later, stating he's good to go for Week 14.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - A new member of the Bengals injury report is Tee Higgins as he's dealing with a hamstring injury. It wasn't serious enough to keep him completely out of practice, but Higgins practiced on a limited basis. You hate to see late week additions, but as long as he's practicing he's on track to play.

Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers - Hip

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - Johnson was asked by the media about his hip injury and he said he expects to play, but he'll know for certain Sunday morning when he's warming up. The Steelers have officially listed Diontae Johnson as questionable for Week 14.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - After practicing on a limited basis on Wednesday, Johnson was downgraded to a DNP and missed practice on Thursday due to a hip injury. Johnson's steady downgrades this week is a bad sign for his Week 14 status and are something that we have to monitor heading into the Steelers' final practice of the week on Friday.

DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals - Illness

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - The Cardinals first day of practice this week took place on Thursday and DeAndre Hopkins was not a part of it. He has a non-COVID related illness which could play out through Week 14, so this is definitely a situation we'll have to monitor.

Rondale Moore, Arizona Cardinals - Groin

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - Rondale Moore played two snaps back in Week 11 before pulling his groin and we haven't seen him since. The Cardinals had a Week 13 bye, but it doesn't seem like Moore is ready to return as he did not practice on Thursday. Bad groin pulls are typically two to four week absences. There's nothing official on Moore's status, but Week 14 is not looking good.

Kadarius Toney, Kansas City Chiefs - Hamstring

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - The Kansas City Chiefs have officially listed Kadarius Toney as questionable for Week 14. Although he practiced the last three days, he wasn't able to log a full practice in any of them. We'll learn more Sunday 1:30 before the game.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 5:45 pm ET - It was great to see Kadarius Toney back on practice on Wednesday and it's even better to see him practice for two straight days. Toney has now been seen returning punts and running routes in the last two days as things are trending in the right direction for Week 14.

NFL Tight End Injury News

Hayden Hurst, Cincinnati Bengals - Calf

UPDATE: 12/9 @ 4:00 pm ET - In the least surprising news of the week, Hayden Hurst has been officially ruled out of the Bengals Week 14 game.

UPDATE: 12/8 @ 4:45 pm ET - The only Bengal that was unable to practice on Thursday was Hayden Hurst. Hurst is still unlikely to play in Week 14, but hasn't officially been ruled out.

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - The Bengals tight end was seen in a protective boot on Wednesday and he did not practice. He's listed as doubtful for Week 14.

After leaving Sunday’s game with a right calf injury, head coach Zac Taylor has already come out and said Hurst is doubtful to play this week. The team is still gathering more information on what the injury is and how long it’ll keep him sidelined.

Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders - Hamstring

Everything said about Hunter Renfrow above holds true for Waller. The difference is Waller tried coming back from this injury and seemingly re-aggravated his hammy. He’s been much more fragile than Renfrow. I think Waller is a lock to sit out without any practice this week, but we’ll get a better idea of his status on Tuesday.

David Njoku, Cleveland Browns - Knee

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - After missing last week's game, Njoku was back on the practice field on Wednesday as things are trending in the right direction for him to play in the Browns' Week 14 game. Njoku dealt with an ankle injury earlier in the year, this time around it's a knee.

Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Illness

UPDATE: 12/7 @ 4:45 pm ET - After not playing on Monday night, Cameron Brate was back on the practice field on Wednesday. The relevancy is we saw Cade Otton heavily involved offensively in Week 13 and Brate will cut into his production if he's active in Week 14.
