What is up, FANation? It is Thursday once again, and this is your "In case you missed them" waiver article. It is Week 17, and likely most of the season-long leagues have concluded, so this is more aimed towards the hardcore leagues that play through Week 17, and more so DFS-related information.

QB

Robert Griffin III (BAL)- RG3 will be a hot pick up this week as Lamar Jackson has already been ruled out. RG3 will man a plethora of back-up players for the Ravens, as they prepare for the playoffs. This is a meaning-less game for the Ravens, however, if I know anything about Harbough is he still wants to win. So, look for RG3 to be more than serviceable for this week's match up with the Steelers at home.

Derek Carr (OAK)- Carr gets a fair match-up this week in Denver against the Broncos, two teams that have under-performed for most of the season. Carr is fresh off a 23.94 fantasy point game against the Chargers, and has put up 17 or more fantasy points in his last three contests. He has put up at least 260 yards through the air over his last three, while throwing for a combined four total TDs over those three as well, ALSO without throwing an INT. Look for Carr to finish the season strong this week.

RB

Travis Homer (SEA)- With Carson and Penny now down-and-out for the remainder of the season, and likely playoffs, the Seahawks went out and signed returnee of the Hawks, Marshawn Lynch . Now, he is absolutely a lock of a pick-up for you if you are still playing in Week 17, and Malin noted him first in his Tuesday article, but we still have to believe that Travis Homer could see some potential split, or 40% role with Lynch here. It isn't the prettiest of match-ups facing the Niners this week, but they are at home, and he could be an interesting pick-up if Lynch isn't fully in game-ready shape.

Dion Lewis (TEN)- The wire is awfully thin right now, and thought Derrek Henry is expected to return this week there is always a chance of re-injury here and If this happens to be the case, then Dion could potentially be in line for extra RB-work once again in Week 17. Dion saw 15 carries in Week 16, turned those carries in only 68 total yards, and also saw two targets on the day. The Titans get a Texans team at home that secured a playoff spot after last week, and may elect to hold out some of their key players as well. Could make this spot even more interesting.

Boston Scott (PHI)- With Jordan Howard still nursing injury, and now Jay Ajayi has been released, it seems Scott is the clear back-up RB to starting RB Miles Sanders. Scott has only managed 10 carries once in his last three contests, but nonetheless, has made up bigly with the short amount of work, as he has went for 24.80, 13.50, and 7.9 fantasy points in his last three. However, even though he has seen his carries shrink from 10, to 7, to three, he has still seen 19 total targets over his last three games, and this will definitely make him viable in PPR formats.

WR

Tajae Sharpe (TEN)- Have to give props to Mr. Jon Impemba here on the Sharpe call from last week in DFS, as he caught five balls for 69 yards and two total scores in last week's loss to the Saints. Sharpe won't be a reliable, consistent plug, but with the Titans season at an end, we could see them simply just air the ball out more, and if Henry does sit once again, they could air it out even more so. With that being said, Sharpe could easily turn into an upward trend once again this week against the Broncos.

Albert Wilson (MIA)- Al Wilson has topped 10 fantasy points in his last two, with 10.90 and 15.80 fantasy points in those two. He has been a key target of starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick , and Fitz loves his slot receivers. Wilson has now seen 15 total targets over his last two games, while catching 12 of those for a total of 138 yards receiving. He has yet to reach the end zone, however, in PPR format he is doing more than enough. Miami heads to New England this week, so not the greatest of match-ups, but we can easily see the Dolphins falling behind quickly and turning to the air-raid.

Tim Patrick (DEN)- Tim Patrick has been getting a medium amount of work lately, as he has put up 7, 5.65, and 9.80 fantasy points in his last three contests. He has also seen 15 total targets in those three, with six and seven of those targets coming in the last two games. He has also reached 48 and 50 yards in two of his last three through the air as well, and with a clash against the meaning-less game Titans, could see him get some more decent work.

TE

Tyler Eifert (CIN)- Eifert is fresh off a massive (for him) 17.70 fantasy point effort against a bad MIA defense, in which turned into a massive shoot-out in Week 16. Eifert was targeted eight times in this one, caught four balls for 57 yards and a trip to pay dirt. Eifert has now seen four or more targets in five of his last seven, and also in his last three straight. As long as Dalton is starting, Eifert will be a nice TE-streamer option, and especially against a Browns defense this week.

Matt LaCosse (NE)- Let's just hope you do not have a serious TE need this week if you are still playing into Week 17. The TE spot is very bleak, and if you MUST have an option, and don't have anyone else available, LaCosse could be a punt-plug. LaCosse hasn't toped 8 fantasy points all year, however, he has been consistent over his last four. Going for three or more fantasy points in those four, with his last game reaching a whopping 7.80. No, but seriously, he should be an easy lock for 3-4 targets weekly, and could get lucky and hit a TD.

D/ST

Indy Colts - The Colts head to Jacksonville to take on the Jags, who behind now starting QB Gardner Minshew, has not scored more than 20 points in a football game in four of their last six games. They are just not a good offense, and not a great team. The Colts have had back-to-back four sack games over their last two, and I expect them to get to Minshew, or even Foles if he is deemed the starter.

Atlanta Falcons - Any defense against the Buccaneers is at least a 5+ fantasy point lock. Winston is going to throw between 1-3 interceptions, it is just the norm for him. Not to mention the fact that the Falcon's D has been getting it done lately, going for 9, 11, and 14 fantasy points in their last three contests. Look for them to stay on track this week against this TB team lead by Jameis Winston .
