Week 7 of the NFL season is here, and we will be turning our attention to the NFL DFS Week 7 main slate over on FanDuel. This week we are looking to break down some players who have seen their salaries rise or fall in the past week and determine if they are worth their new price tags or not. Kenneth Walker III of the Seattle Seahawks continues to see his salary jump, but is it still not high enough? Michael Pittman Jr. and Ezekiel Elliott also saw their salaries rise after solid Week 6 games. We have also seen a huge drop in the prices of Aaron Jones and Antonio Gibson. What do we do with these players as we build our NFL DFS Week 7 FanDuel lineups? FanDuel NFL DFS Week 7 Risers 

Kenneth Walker, Seattle Seahawks – $800 RISE to $7,300

Walker was the cover boy of last week’s “Risers and Fallers” and here we are again with another price bump. Since Week 5, Walker has seen his salary rise $2K, yet he is still only the 14th-highest priced RB on the entire slate. Last week, he got his first career start for the Seahawks and carried the ball 21 times (24 opportunities), finishing with 110 yards and a touchdown while playing 69% of the snaps. Walker is now in bell cow territory and his upcoming game against the Chargers is one of the best matchups for workhorse RBs.  The Chargers are allowing 23.2 FD fantasy points per game to RBs (2nd-worst in the NFL) and Walker is still underpriced for the work that he is now locked into. He's viable in all formats this week on FanDuel even with another price hike.

Michael Pittman, Indianapolis Colts – $800 RISE to $7,500

What a game by Pittman and Matty Ice on Sunday. Matt Ryan threw it 58 times for nearly 400 yards and three touchdowns against a Jacksonville defense that isn’t as bad as it has been in years past. The alpha of this Colts offense is Pittman, and what a day he had as the beneficiary of Ryan’s arm. It was a monster game as he caught 13 passes for 134 yards on 16 targets and, more importantly, he ran a route on every Ryan dropback. This is a receiver who is 12th in targets among WRs and has seen at least six in every game played. Pittman did a get a price bump, but this week he will be facing Terrance Mitchell and the Titans – a defense that is fourth-worst in the NFL among fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. Pittman is a top tournament play on FanDuel this week. 

Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys – $700 RISE to $6,900

Yes, Tony Pollard is still lurking, but Elliott ran the football as well last week than he has in quite a while. He ended the game against the Eagles with 81 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries (61% snap share). It was the first time since December of 2019 that Elliott averaged more than 6.0 yard per carry with 10 or more carries. He may not get the targets out of the backfield like he once did – eight in six games – but the good news is that he looks solid as a runner. With Dak Prescott expected to return this week, Elliott should see more touchdown opportunities too. I would not be running out to play Zeke in cash games, but he is worth a shot in some tournaments if multi-entering.

FanDuel NFL DFS Week 7 Fallers

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers – FALLS to $6,800

The Packers are 3-3 and have now lost to both the Jets and Giants.  We knew that there would be some issues, especially with Davante Adams gone, but Jones was expected to be a key part of the offense. It really hasn’t happened. Jones managed just nine carries for 19 yards rushing and three catches for 25 yards on four targets (8.9% share) with a 56% snap share in last week's loss to the Jets. He has now topped 10 FD fantasy points just twice on the season. Aaron Rodgers has already stated this week that they need to get Jones more involved, and it could start on Sunday against the Commanders. This is the lowest price that we have seen Jones all season and he will come in low-rostered on Sunday – so why not take a shot at the Packers' veteran in your GPP lineups?

Antonio Gibson, Washington Commanders – FALLS $800 to $6,300

It is official – Brian Robinson Jr. is the lead back in Washington and the coaching staff has made it clear that he is going to get every chance possible to succeed. After a nice debut in Week 5, Robinson had a 47% snap share and ran 17 times for 60 yards with a TD last week at Chicago.  Even though he did look explosive, Gibson’s snap share of 26% was concerning as even J.D. McKissic (30%) saw the field more. He ended up with a line of five carries for 35 rushing yards and three catches for 18 receiving yards, but with such a small snap share and even a $800 discount from last week, Gibson will not find his way on any lineups of mine unless I am mass-entering some GPPs.
