2022 NFL Weekly Survivor Pool: Week 14 Top Picks & Plays
It has been a challenging season in NFL survivor pools and it's an accomplishment if you reached Week 14. The last few weeks have seen most of the popular plays win. The Cowboys are 17-point favorites over the Texans and the Bills are the only other double-digit favorite over the Jets this week. Seven teams are four-point favorites or fewer.
Here are my top survivor picks for the week.
NFL Week 14 Survivor Picks
1) Dallas Cowboys
This is the obvious play of the week if Dallas is still remaining. The Cowboys have the best defense and face a Texans offense that ranks last in offensive DVOA and will be going back to quarterback Davis Mills. The Texans are 1-10-1 and have scored more than 20 points once. The Cowboys are averaging 37.2 points per game since Dak Prescott returned from injury. The Texans rushing defense has been shredded, allowing an average of 169.1 points per game. Houston has at least two turnovers in each of the last five games.
2) Kansas City Chiefs
The Broncos can't score. The offense is one of the worst we have seen in a while. Denver has gone under in 11 of 12 games. They have reached 20 points only two times and have scored 10 or fewer points in three of the last four games. The Broncos are averaging 13.8 points per game and are so bad they flexed this game out of prime time even with Patrick Mahomes in the game. Mahomes hasn't lost a divisional road game in his career and is 5-0 in Denver. The Chiefs have scored 20 points in 11 of 12 games. If they get to 20 points, they won't lose this game.
3) Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are playing better with three consecutive wins. It's difficult to trust them on the road, but this is a different situation based on the opponent. The Rams don't have a home-field advantage and there will be a lot of Raiders fans in Los Angeles. The Rams have lost six consecutive games and are battered by injuries. The Rams offense has been awful all season and it's possible Baker Mayfield, who was just added to the team, starts at quarterback. The Raiders offense has been difficult to stop behind Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams. Many likely haven't used the Raiders yet and this is the best spot for the rest of the season.
Last week: 3-0
Season: 29-9-1
