Happy Boxing Day. If your fantasy league is still going in Week 17, and you managed to make it this far, There are interesting players available at every position. The waiver adds listed below include their ownership in Yahoo! fantasy leagues as well as the amount in FAAB I would be willing to spend out of a $100 budget.
10-Team League Waiver Adds
Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, SF (29%) – It is insane to think Jimmy Garoppolo might not have even played for San Francisco this season if C.J. Beathard hadn’t gotten hurt. He has another tough matchup against the Rams this week, but I don’t know how you can argue against him after what he did against the Jaguars.
Austin Ekeler, RB, LAC (21%) – It looks like Melvin Gordon could be a game-time decision Sunday, and if he is ultimately held out, Austin Ekeler could be in line for a huge fantasy day against the Raiders.
Giovani Bernard, RB, CIN (45%) – Joe Mixon left Sunday’s game with an ankle injury, and Bernard picked up right where he left off when Mixon was out Weeks 14 and 15. If Mixon is out again, Bernard should get 15+ touches for the fifth consecutive game.
Buffalo Bills DEF (26%) – Buffalo held Miami to 16 points and had three interceptions in Week 15, and they could easily do it again in Week 17.
Antonio Gates, TE, LAC (22%) – Gates caught six of eight targets for 81 yards and a touchdown last week with Hunter Henry out, and now he gets an Oakland team that has allowed the fifth most fantasy points to tight ends this season.
12-Team Leagues
Mike Gillislee, RB, NE (31%) – Gillislee got a short touchdown in Week 16, and he could easily do the same this week if Rex Burkhead is out again.
14+ Team Leagues
T.J. Yates, QB, HOU (1%) – He isn’t good, but he has good weapons and a nice matchup against the Colts.
Rhett Ellison, TE, NYG (0%) – Ellison caught four passes for 60 yards Sunday, and if Evan Engram’s rib injury keeps him out, Ellison could provide the same production in Week 17.
Geronimo Allison, GB, WR (1%) – Allison didn’t do a whole lot on Saturday with Brett Hundley at quarterback, but he has a much better matchup at Detroit this week. If Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams are both out, Allison could be worth a shot.
