We have a two-game NBA slate on Thursday, October 20th and both matchups are slated to be very competitive, high-scoring contests. Both the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers have game totals of 224 or higher with 5.5 point spreads or less. We have plenty of star power to look at when we’re talking about tonight's NBA Underdog Fantasy top picks with Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Joel Embiid taking the floor. That being said, let’s take a look at some of my favorite prop picks over on Underdog Fantasy NBA for tonight’s action!

Underdog NBA Top Picks October 20

Russell Westbrook, Los Angeles Lakers – OVER 15.5 points

There are a lot of narratives surrounding Russell Westbrook and even if he’s not the same player as he once was, he’s still a very capable NBA asset for a team to have. Maybe not this particular team, but he still can put up numbers for them. The 15.5 point total is setting the bar quite low when you factor in his 2020.

In 79 games played last year, Westbrook hit the over on this number 52 times, which is a 66% clip.

Over his last 30 games, he’s been slightly better than that hitting the mark 21 of 30 times, including in the Lakers first game this year.

How about we just simplify it even more and look at the last nine games last year and opening night of this season. Nine of 10. The guy, as much as some people hate to admit it, is still very productive.

The Clippers are featuring Reggie Jackson and John Wall at point-guard this year, two match-ups Westbrook should and will exploit. Yeah, I said it. I like the over here.

Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers – OVER 2.5 three-pointers made

Welcome back, Kawhi Leonard! Let’s make sure we don’t forget about Paul George, OK? Kawhi Leonard likely to be limited and is starting the year with a hard cap to preserve him for later in the year. That George guy was pretty guy in his absence a year ago averaging 24.3 points per game. We like his three-point prop in this game and let me tell you why.

Last year, George averaged 8.3 3PA/game and has actually been at 7.7 or more for five consecutive seasons. That’s lead to George making north of 2.5 3PA for those seasons, but for seven straight.

To end his season last year, George hit this mark in seven of 10 games. He actually hit this at a 60% clip over his final 30 games too, which is a solid number. He averaged nearly eight attempts from three the last two years in LA – with Leonard – and made over three per game, so he’s going to let Leonard operate in the mid range while George knocks em down from deep.
