Today's NBA DFS slate features six games with key matchups between the 76ers and Celtics along with the Nuggets and Grizzlies which are potential playoff matchups in the Eastern and Western Conferences. When it comes to injury statuses for today's slate the Spurs are once again without Tre Jones while listing Keldon Johnson as questionable to suit up for today's matchup. Malaki Branham figures to again be a popular play against the Jazz with Jones out but will have increased usage if Johnson was to sit out.
Check out the NBA DFS Player Projections and NBA DFS Lineup Generator along with the playbook and core plays when building today's lineups.

PG | Ja Morant | DEN @ MEM Sat 8:00 | 10000 | 49.6 | 9900 | 48 |
Making a stand and putting Morant in the playbook over Ball here given the matchups the two have even though Ball has been the top DFS point guard over the past week or so. At home this season Morant is averaging over 50 FP a game and he scored 30 actual against Denver in his lone matchup against them this season. We are looking at a nice 235.5 game total with the Grizzlies sitting at 2.5-point favorites. Game Type: CASH & GPP
PG | James Harden | 9900 | 0 | 10000 | 0
While the Celtics have had a lot of success against the 76ers this season James Harden has not struggled, averaging 30.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 9.0 assists in two meetings. Boston does a great job of shutting down Joel Embiid and that defensive focus has seemingly opened things up for Harden. Game Type: GPP
PG | Tyrese Haliburton | IND @ ORL Sat 7:00 | 9400 | 47.2 | 8800 | 44.9 |
Haliburton is my favorite point guard per dollar tonight. He is filling up the stat sheet with games over 59 and 56 FP in two of the last three contests. We now have a great matchup against the Magic with a nice 230.5 game total. I look for Haliburton to take this game over as he goes up against another young guard in Markelle Fultz. Game Type: GPP
PG | Jalen Brunson | NOP @ NYK Sat 7:30 | 8200 | 41.5 | 8400 | 40.5 |
The mid-tier is loaded today with guys who have shown capable of popping for 50 fantasy points. Brunson has proven to be well worth the money the Knicks spent on him this past offseason and we are looking at another competitive game here tonight with the Knicks sitting as 3.5-point home favorites over the Pelicans. Game Type: CASH
PG | Jamal Murray | DEN @ MEM Sat 8:00 | 7800 | 36.6 | 8300 | 35.3 |
I love stacking this Denver vs Memphis game today and Murray is healthy and back in the lineup. Before his injury we saw Murray with consecutive games of 48, 54 and 62 fantasy points. He played 33 minutes against Cleveland on Thursday and finished with 35 fantasy points in a tough matchup. This will be his first game against the Grizzlies this season but Murray is an elite scoring guard when healthy. Game Type: GPP
PG | CJ McCollum | NOP @ NYK Sat 7:30 | 7600 | 37 | 7600 | 35.5 |
We love attacking the Knicks with opposing guards as Jalen Brunson is not a good defensive player. McCollum is averaging 41.5 FP over the last two games and he's scored 20+ actual point in five of the last six games. Great price tag here for CJM. Game Type: CASH
PG | Markelle Fultz | IND @ ORL Sat 7:00 | 6600 | 30.6 | 6900 | 30.9 |
Love that he is just locked in for 30+ minutes a night because we are finally seeing the player that could be after his rough start to his career all those years ago. Fultz has gone for 47, 39 and 34 fantasy points over the last three games and has scored at least 14 actual points in four straight games. Game Type: GPP
PG | Malaki Branham | SAS @ UTA Sat 9:00 | 5200 | 23.2 | 5700 | 22.3 |
Tre Jones is out and Keldon Johnson is questionable. Jones being out is all we really needed to go back to Branham here but if Johnson ends up sitting out as well then we could see Branham as the top scoring option for the Spurs here tonight. Game Type: CASH & GPP
PG | Immanuel Quickley | TOR @ DET Sat 12:00 | 4900 | 0 | 5800 | 0 |
Always a strong play off the bench for the Knicks. He is going to play 25 minutes and is a high volume fantasy scorer. On a smaller slate he is a solid play if you need value. Game Type: GPP
SG | Jaylen Brown | BOS @ PHI Sat 8:30 | 8900 | 44 | 8700 | 42.3 |
On slate like this I'm OK taking Brown. Tatum is obviously the top guy in this offense but Brown is just as capable of popping off and while he hasn't done that yet in this matchup against the 76ers that is what makes him a nice GPP play. Brown went for 51 FP against the Pacers in OT the other night and popped for 49 FP against the Suns before he got hurt against this same 76ers team back on February 8th. Game Type: GPP
SG | Brandon Ingram | NOP @ NYK Sat 7:30 | 8500 | 39.4 | 7800 | 37.7 |
Really strong production from Ingram since he returned to their lineup. He is the leading scorer for this team and has taken at least 20 shot attempts in three straight games. Game Type: CASH
SG | Desmond Bane | DEN @ MEM Sat 8:00 | 7900 | 37.3 | 7900 | 35.7 |
More stacking here for this matchup between Denver and Memphis. Bane is filling up the stat sheet this season is exactly what we love to see in DFS. Over the last five games he is averaging close to 40 FP which is 5x the price tag here tonight. Game Type: CASH & GPP
SG | Jordan Clarkson | SAS @ UTA Sat 9:00 | 7300 | 34.7 | 6900 | 32.3 |
The Jazz are big favorites here today and if Keldon Johnson ends up sitting out that spread likely goes up even more. He is going to be a contrarian play here tonight because of the blowout potential but with Sexton and potentially Olynyk out as well tonight we see Clarkson is a good spot. Game Type: GPP
SG | Bennedict Mathurin | IND @ ORL Sat 7:00 | 5200 | 28.8 | 5600 | 27.6 |
I always love this kid and whenever I do a playbook he finds his way into it. He attacks the hoop and gets to the free throw line. He can also be active on the glass while providing the strong scoring. Game Type: GPP
SG | Kentavious Caldwell-Pope | IND @ ORL Sat 7:00 | 4700 | 0 | 5800 | 0 |
The last few games for KCP we've really seen his scoring pop. Aaron Gordon is again ruled out here for the Nuggets. If looking for the spend down in this game stack he is the guy. Game Type: CASH
SG | Devonte' Graham | 4500 | 0 | 5100 | 0
Already getting playing time, we love the shot volume Graham could end up seeing here tonight if Keldon Johnson is ruled out. Even in a possible blowout scenario we should see Graham get decent minutes. Game Type: GPP
SF | Jayson Tatum | BOS @ PHI Sat 8:30 | 10500 | 52.5 | 11000 | 50.8 |
One of the few guys with slate breaking upside on this smaller slate. While spending up on Jokic is going to be the obvious play here today, Tatum can go for 60 fantasy points as well. Good for all formats. Game Type: CASH & GPP
SF | Michael Porter | DEN @ MEM Sat 8:00 | 6000 | 30.5 | 7000 | 29.2 |
Three straight games with 30 FP and back-to-back games over 20 actual points scored. I wish he would grab more rebounds, especially with Aaron Gordon being out of the lineup. Game Type: GPP
SF | Talen Horton-Tucker | 5500 | 0 | 5900 | 0
With Sexton out we've seen the assists number spike. We now may also see Kelly Olynyk ruled out which could put THT just in better overall position to fill out the stat sheet here in a great spot against the Spurs. Game Type: CASH & GPP
SF | Keita Bates-Diop | 4400 | 0 | 5300 | 0
Going to get decent amount of minutes anyways but if Keldon Johnson is ruled out then 30+ minutes will be in the bag for KBD here tonight against the Jazz. Game Type: CASH
SF | Josh Richardson | MIA @ CHA Sat 7:00 | 4200 | 0 | 5900 | 0 |
In the starting lineup for the Pelicans the other day and played 29 minutes, finishing with 25 fantasy points. If this is going to be the new normal then he is a must play tonight. Game Type: GPP
SF | Ochai Agbaji | TOR @ DET Sat 12:00 | 3400 | 0 | 3900 | 0 |
If Olynyk is ruled out there is a good chance we see Agbaji in the starting lineup here tonight against the Spurs and given the possible blowout potential he may just stay on the floor no matter the outcome here. He has flashed some scoring upside and while he doesn't really do much else, it would be hard to ignore a guy under $4,000 in a starting lineup. Game Type: GPP
PF | Julius Randle | 9500 | 0 | 9300 | 0
Is he going to repeat what he did last night? Unlikely, but Randle is still a great play here given what his floor level of production. He can score from all over the floor and is no stranger grabbing rebounds and dishing out assists. Game Type: CASH
PF | Lauri Markkanen | SAS @ UTA Sat 9:00 | 9300 | 41.9 | 8600 | 40.2 |
Going to be very popular here today and for good reason. He has elite scoring upside with double-double potential. Markkanen dropped 55 FP in this same matchup earlier this season. Game Type: CASH & GPP
PF | Jaren Jackson | DEN @ MEM Sat 8:00 | 7700 | 41 | 8500 | 43.9 |
Well, we know the narrative here. When at home, Jaren Jackson Jr. has wild block and steal production on his home floor, averaging a combined 5.7 blocks and steals per game. That right there is an extra 12-17 points depending on your site. He played just 22 minutes against the Nuggets earlier this year due to foul trouble but had five blocks and three steals in that game. Game Type: GPP
PF | Jeremy Sochan | SAS @ UTA Sat 9:00 | 5000 | 21.4 | 5400 | 21.2 |
Looks like we will see Sochan in the lineup tonight and if Keldon Johnson is ruled out he is another player that will get a usage rate boost. Good value option on this slate that should see plenty of minutes. Game Type: GPP
PF | Aaron Nesmith | IND @ ORL Sat 7:00 | 4100 | 23.5 | 5200 | 23.3 |
Contrarian GPP play. He is going to play a lot of minutes and has shown games where he goes for 30+ fantasy points. He is more likely to sit around 20 fantasy points but not an awful spot. Game Type: GPP
PF | Kevin Love | MIA @ CHA Sat 7:00 | 3800 | 21.4 | 4000 | 20 |
Love is expected to play here on the back-to-back against Charlotte. He played just 22 minutes in his Heat debut but he did start and if not for the blowout loss he may have seen more minutes. While he went 0-for-4 from the floor he also grabbed eight rebounds with four assists, one steal and one block over that time. Game Type: CASH & GPP
C | Nikola Jokić | DEN @ MEM Sat 8:00 | 11700 | 66.7 | 11800 | 61.2 |
Going to be the highest rostered player on the slate and for obvious reasons. Only Joel Embiid has rivaled the 100 FP upside that Jokic has on this slate. Game Type: CASH & GPP
C | Joel Embiid | BOS @ PHI Sat 8:30 | 11300 | 60.4 | 12000 | 58.9 |
To be contrarian you can play Embiid but it's worth noting that the Celtics have really shut him down this season. The combination of Al Horford and Robert Williams is a tough matchup for most opposing centers. That said, we just saw Myles Turner score 40 actual points against Boston two nights ago. Game Type: CASH & GPP
C | Bam Adebayo | MIA @ CHA Sat 7:00 | 8800 | 38.4 | 9100 | 38.6 |
Tough game last night for everyone on Miami but he has a good bounce back spot here against the Hornets who we always target with opposing centers. Game Type: CASH
C | Myles Turner | IND @ ORL Sat 7:00 | 7300 | 37.9 | 8000 | 38.8 |
I like both centers in this game. We can't ignore what Turner just did against the Celtics the other night and when healthy and getting the minutes he has some elite upside, especially with the way Haliburton is playing right now as well given his ability to create offense for his teammates. Game Type: GPP
C | Wendell Carter | IND @ ORL Sat 7:00 | 6500 | 32.1 | 6700 | 30.9 |
Flip side of this matchup is WCJ. The Magic have really committed to giving their starters 30+ minutes and in return we've gotten some high upside performances from Carter. This is a good matchup against the Pacers for Carter Jr. Game Type: GPP
C | Walker Kessler | SAS @ UTA Sat 9:00 | 6300 | 36.3 | 7400 | 37.3 |
18 rebounds the other night with 7 blocks is all you really need to know when it comes to this rookie. With Kelly Olynyk potentially out tonight as well there may even be some more scoring upside for Kessler. He's my favorite mid-tier center purely due to the block upside. Game Type: CASH
C | Zach Collins | SAS @ UTA Sat 9:00 | 6200 | 32 | 6800 | 31.3 |
Opposite of Kessler will be Collins here who has double-doubles in back-to-back games. If Keldon sits out he too will find some additional shots go his way but the shot blocking upside of Kessler is a minor concern. Game Type: GPP
C | Mitchell Robinson | NOP @ NYK Sat 7:30 | 5200 | 24.9 | 6200 | 26.9 |
Double-double in his return game for the Knicks. He will match up well against Jonas Valanciunas and we know what his shot blocking upside is here. There are not many value centers on this slate. Game Type: GPP |
Ja Morant, PG | 10000 , 49.6 | 49.6 | 9900 , 48 | 48
Making a stand and putting Morant in the playbook over Ball here given the matchups the two have even though Ball has been the top DFS point guard over the past week or so.
