PGLuka DončićDAL @ NOP Thu 8:001240058.41130055.6

I feel like every time I do the playbook, I have to resist writing an ode to Doncic. In Doncic’s defense, it was a tough match-up against Miami on Tuesday but it could have been worse as he still finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. I would expect Doncic to bounce back tonight against the Pelicans and shoot better than five of 19 from the field.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
SGCJ McCollumDAL @ NOP Thu 8:00850035.9840034.9

We got to see what McCollum is capable of running the show in New Orleans on Tuesday as he scored 30-points for the second time since joining the Pelicans after he put 36 a few games ago. McCollum also added seven assists and six rebounds and it’s clear that the usage and volume will be there.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
PGJrue Holiday7600079000

While he does flash upside on occasion, Holiday is best served as a cash game option who generally stays pretty close to the 18.2 points, eight assists, and four rebounds he is averaging over his last six games.

Game Type: CASH
PGReggie JacksonPHI @ MIL Thu 8:306800067000

There aren’t many match-ups much better than facing the Rockets, and Jackson should be in position to take advantage of that tonight. If there was any doubt as to the volume at which he can, and will, shoot, Jackson took 26 shots against the Suns on Tuesday. Of course, if he made more than seven of them or had gotten to the free throw line, we would look at things a little differently, but you have to like that volume.

Game Type: GPP
PGJalen Brunson6400065000

Brunson continues to be a steady option in Dallas’ backcourt as the second option along side Doncic, but what you see is what you get here. Over the past five days though, Brunson has picked up the offense slightly as he is averaging 19 points per game compared to 16.1 on the season.

Game Type: CASH
SGTyrese MaxeyPHI @ MIL Thu 8:30630031.3780031.3

Philadelphia has to be better tonight, right? Just like the entire 76ers squad, Maxey had a rough night on Tuesday against Boston as he scored just 11 points on three of 11 shooting. If Philadelphia comes out firing tonight, there is a large part that Maxey will be a factor in it.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
PGRaul Neto4600048000

For a starting point guard, Neto is pretty reasonably priced tonight. The fact that he faces a Brooklyn team tonight that struggles defensively and played last night is also a plus here. Neto played 28 minutes on Tuesday against Detroit and turned in a solid performance in his now new role as he scored 11 points with four rebounds, three assists, and four steals.

Game Type: GPP
SGJalen GreenHOU @ LAC Thu 10:30470024.4430022.6

Green has proven that he is going to get the playing time with Houston and score in double figures on a nightly basis as of late. That cannot be understated, but that is also the major source of Green’s DFS value, although at the price he is still a solid GPP option.

Game Type: GPP
PGDennis Schröder4400043000

Not only did Schroder make it through the whole game last night despite an Achilles injury, but he also showed the upper level of his ceiling. In 39 minutes of action, also helped by the absence of Kevin Porter, Schroder filled out the stat sheet with 23 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. If Porter sits again tonight, Schroder becomes an interesting option once again as he does have a track record of running the point and producing at a strong level.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
PGIsh SmithMIA @ CHA Thu 7:004000047000

If you want to save a little more money, we can stay in Washington with one of their new additions. Smith should play around 20 minutes again tonight, and in his first two games with the Wizards that has meant 8.5 points, 5.5 assists, two rebounds, and two steals.

Game Type: GPP
SGLuke Kennard3200044000

This lines up as one of the early value plays of the night, as based on his price, Kennard could very easily get to 6x or 7x. Kennard is one of the beneficiaries of Norman Powell’s injury, and his 11 point, four assist, four rebound effort against the Suns on Tuesday would certainly be welcome tonight.

Game Type: GPP
SFKhris MiddletonPHI @ MIL Thu 8:30780037.6740036.1

I go hot and cold on Middleton, but with his price dropping below the $8k mark on DK, he has my attention. That being said, he is more of a cash game option as he is averaging 18 points, six assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game over his last six.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
SFBrandon IngramDAL @ NOP Thu 8:00750038.2760036.1

We don’t want to overreact here that the addition of McCollum isn’t a good thing for Ingram’s value, but his usage and volume has declined over the past few games. At the same time though, his price has dropped dramatically on DK over that same stretch. Ingram is still averaging 20.7 points in his last six games so it’s not like he has completely fallen off.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
SGCam ThomasWAS @ BKN Thu 7:30580021680021.6

It’s another game for Brooklyn without Kyrie Irving, so that means Thomas will take on a large role once again for the Nets. Last night the volume was certainly there for Thomas, 21 shots, but the efficiency was lacking as he made just nine shots on his way to a 21-point performance. Thomas’s price has risen as of late, but he’s still reasonably priced considering he is averaging 20.2 points over his last five games.

Game Type: GPP
SGSeth CurryMIA @ CHA Thu 7:005500060000

Curry has wasted no time fitting right in with the Nets as he has scored 23 and 20 points in the last two games with Brooklyn. It’s clear that Curry is going to get the volume here and he has proven to be a capable shooter.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
SGTerance MannHOU @ LAC Thu 10:30510021.8590021.2

Mann’s price has risen substantially over the past few days so that makes this harder, but the matchup against the Clippers is ripe for him to have a bounce back effort after making just one of six shots in 32 minutes against the Suns on Tuesday. This is GPP only though based on the lack of floor he showed.

Game Type: GPP
PFKyle KuzmaWAS @ BKN Thu 7:30900034770032.8

Twenty-seven field goal attempts. Before we look at anything else from Kuzma last night, that is the number that truly jumps out to me. At this point, we do know that Kuzma is pretty much the extent of Washington’s offense, but if there was any doubt about his role, that number helps to lend some clarity. The fact that Kuzma only made nine of those shots is almost secondary as he finished with 26 points, 15 rebounds, and six assists. At the same time though, we don’t want to go chasing here, and we have seen a pretty substantial price increase here as of late.

Game Type: GPP
SFJimmy ButlerMIA @ CHA Thu 7:00880048.5910049.6

With 26 points and 10 rebounds on Tuesday, Butler’s shoulder injury didn’t hinder during 38 minutes against Dallas. In what lines up to be a favorable matchup with lots of offense against Charlotte, let’s hope that the same is true.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
SFMiles BridgesMIA @ CHA Thu 7:00790038.7790038.4

Bridges bounced back nicely on Tuesday to finish with 28 points against Minnesota but his full game was on display as he added 13 rebounds and seven assists. The pace will be a lot slower tonight, but someone will have to score for Charlotte, and Bridges should get a slight benefit as, at the least, Jimmy Butler is less than 100%. This is still more of a GPP only option though.

Game Type: GPP
PFMarcus Morris6200061000

It’s not necessarily due to lack of opportunity, but Morris’ offense has fluctuated on a nightly basis as of late. We saw the good side of Morris on Tuesday as he made 10 of 17 shots from the field against Phoenix on his way to a 23-point performance. The good news is that Houston is the perfect team against whom we can expect a repeat.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
PFDorian Finney-Smith4600049000

At this price point, Finney-Smith is going to get my attention since we know that his minutes are likely going to be in the high 30’s. Expecting a performance similar to the 14 points and five rebounds we saw on Tuesday isn’t going to single handily bring down a tournament, but it gets a minimum 5x return and helps you construct the rest of your lineup.

Game Type: GPP
SGWesley Matthews3700035000

In his last five games, Matthews hasn’t attempted more than three shots from the field despite playing around 15 minutes a game. That should change tonight as Grayson Allen’s doubtful status will leave Milwaukee shorthanded so Matthews could be in position for some additional volume and production.

Game Type: GPP
PFGiannis AntetokounmpoPHI @ MIL Thu 8:301210062.51150060.8

Let’s finish the first half out strong with Antetokounmpo who is coming off a nice 50-point, 14 rebound performance against Indiana on Tuesday. While we can’t expect him to make 17 of 21 field goal attempts again, there is nothing about the final results that were terribly surprising even we know he won’t score 50 on a nightly basis.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
SFJae'Sean TateHOU @ LAC Thu 10:30510026.6520026.3

Power forward is a tough position tonight depending on the site, so that means we could see Tate be a bit more popular than we would otherwise assume. It’s not without good reason though as Tate comes in at solid price and is coming off a 22-point, 10 rebound effort against Phoenix last night. It was a nice development to see Tate not only attempt eight free throws, but also to convert all of them. We do have to note that Christian Wood wasn’t in the lineup, so that is something to watch for tonight.

Game Type: GPP
SFHerbert JonesDAL @ NOP Thu 8:00490019.7510021.3

On the five-game slate, Jones is going to get a mention here because he starts and plays about 30 minutes a game for New Orleans. The problem though, is that from a fantasy perspective, he doesn’t always do enough to really jump off the page and is averaging 9.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game and he might not be the best option on his team.

Game Type: CASH
CJaxson Hayes4600044000

Over the past two games, Hayes has caught our attention and has taken on a larger role scoring 14 and 13 points respectively, while averaging four rebounds. If you want to take a shot on Hayes continuing that level of performance, the price isn’t too prohibitive.

Game Type: GPP
CAlperen ŞengünHOU @ LAC Thu 10:30450029480029.6

It was hard to miss the 19 points and 14 rebounds Sengun posted last night, but it did come with Christian Wood out of the lineup, so that can’t be ignored. If Wood is active, we do have to downgrade Sengun, and he becomes strictly a GPP option based on the price.

Game Type: GPP
PFMaxi KleberDAL @ NOP Thu 8:00400025.3510025.3

The version of Kleber that we saw on Tuesday as he scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds is what we had been expected with the injury, and subsequent trade of Kristaps Porzingis opened up consistent playing time. Of course, that hasn’t been the case, and that’s why we get such a favorable price, but I know no problem going back after it tonight. Well as long as you aren’t chasing his five blocked shots from a game ago.

Game Type: GPP
SFRobert CovingtonPHI @ MIL Thu 8:303900053000

While Covington isn’t going to score much, he generally does enough at this price point to be a solid option as the bar isn’t set too high. In fact, his season averages of 7.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game with scattered contributions in the other categories help us break the 5x mark based on his current DK price, so this could a decent cost saving option.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
CJoel EmbiidPHI @ MIL Thu 8:301180051.11140049.4

The thought process here is that Embiid is an elite player and he will bounce back tonight in an exciting match-up against Milwaukee. A down night for Embiid is still 19 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in 26 minutes so we simply have to put Tuesday behind us and move forward.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
CBam AdebayoMIA @ CHA Thu 7:00840040950037.9

By this point, the narrative of targeting Charlotte with centers is quite well known, and Adebayo is in position to take advantage of that tonight. He is coming off a 21-point, 12 rebound performance on Tuesday against Dallas and it was the fourth double-double in five games for Adebayo.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
PFBobby PortisPHI @ MIL Thu 8:30670036.5630034.5

When I see that Portis only scored six points, my first thought process is that the night is going to be a bust. However, Portis has picked up the pace on the boards as of late and his 14 rebounds made it a solid night. The fact that Portis did take 14 shots also says a good thing about his value as the volume is there.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
CAndre DrummondPHI @ MIL Thu 8:306000066000

Enjoy the price while it lasts. Drummond is out of Joel Embiid’s shadow on a Nets team the sorely needed help in the front court. Despite playing just 23 minutes last night, Drummond came through in a big way with 11 points and 19 rebounds and it hasn’t impacted his cost just yet.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
CMason Plumlee5600057000

Three straight games of double-digit rebounds got our attention and then Plumlee went off for 14 points and 17 rebounds in an overtime game against Minnesota on Tuesday. The rebounds provide a nice floor, and while we don’t want to chase the 17 points, the price is reasonable.

Game Type: CASH & GPP
CMontrezl HarrellPHI @ MIL Thu 8:305300058000

Charlotte doesn’t appear to be shy in giving Harrell a good number of minutes, and he has done well since the trade both offensively and on the boards. I’m not sure how much upside there is, but Harrell makes a fine cash option for the price.

Game Type: CASH
CIvica ZubacHOU @ LAC Thu 10:30470022.3620022.7

Targeting Houston is always a nice path to take, and when we get Zubac coming off a 12-point, 13 rebound performance, things are even better. His output does tend to fluctuate on a nightly basis, so this comes down to price and lineup construction for me and I’m not targeting him on FD.

The fact that Portis did take 14 shots also says a good thing about his value as the volume is there.

Three straight games of double-digit rebounds got our attention and then Plumlee went off for 14 points and 17 rebounds in an overtime game against Minnesota on Tuesday. The rebounds provide a nice floor, and while we don’t want to chase the 17 points, the price is reasonable.

Charlotte doesn’t appear to be shy in giving Harrell a good number of minutes, and he has done well since the trade both offensively and on the boards. I’m not sure how much upside there is, but Harrell makes a fine cash option for the price.

Targeting Houston is always a nice path to take, and when we get Zubac coming off a 12-point, 13 rebound performance, things are even better. His output does tend to fluctuate on a nightly basis, so this comes down to price and lineup construction for me and I’m not targeting him on FD.
