Happy Tuesday, November 26th, it's Emirates NBA Cup day! On today's five-game NBA DFS main slate on both DraftKings and FanDuel, nobody playing has yet to be eliminated from the NBA Cup, so the stakes couldn't be higher this Tuesday. There are elite plays everywhere you turn as LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, and Victor Wembanyama hit the floor.
Before actually diving into the meat and potatoes, welcome to the NBA DFS season. If this is your first time reading our column on NBA DFS picks, I just want to welcome you and give you a few tips and tricks on what you should be looking for each night.
- News outlets: reliable sources that give us injury news & starting lineups
- Pace of play: who's playing fast vs. who's playing slow. Which teams get a pace-up spot (more possessions) vs. pace-down (fewer possessions)
- Usage rates: is a percentage of how many plays that player is being used in

Pre-Lock Update
This section will be used for anything that changes from the morning until right up to roster lock. Injury updates, players we’re higher on than we were in the morning and so much more.
4:00 pm ET
- Jordan Poole is OUT. They started Kyshawn George in his place last time out & he played 29 minutes. He's a very solid play and has been added to the playbook. They also gave Corey Kispert 36 minutes. George is a priority, Kispert is in the player pool.
6:08 pm ET
- Giannis Antetokounmpo has been DOWNGRADED to QUESTIONABLE. That would shake up the entire slate. Damian Lillard, Bobby Portis & Brook Lopez would immediately soar to the top of the priority list.
6:30 pm ET
- Giannis is OUT. Damian Lillard & Bobby Portis are elite plays & priorities. Brook Lopez is a secondary play. We'll see who the fifth starter is.
