NAME | TEAM | INJURY | TIMETABLE TO RETURN | ANALYSIS |
Joel Embiid | PHI | Knee | DAY TO DAY | Despite having injury tags attached to him before each game, Embiid plays through the pain. Expect him to continue to play because the Raptors have a very skilled frontcourt and he's needed on the floor. |
Clint Capela | HOU | Illness | DAY TO DAY | Capela should be able to remain active for game 5 against Utah, but he's been sick and is batting at infection and if he can't play on Wednesday, Kenneth Faried will see more minutes. |
DeMarcus Cousins | GSW | Quad | No Timetable | New reports say that Cousins return for 2019 NBA Playoffs is not looking good. He avoided surgery and until (if) he returns, Kevon Looney , Andrew Bogut and Jordan Bell should see more minutes. |
Kyle Lowry | TOR | Finger | DAY TO DAY | This is just something to monitor as Lowry hurt his Finger, but he returned later in the game. He shouldn't have to miss any action for the next round. Fred VanVleet would get the uptick in minutes. |
Jusuf Nurkic | POR | Tibia/Fibula | OUT FOR THE PLAYOFFS | Nurkic is done and Enes Kanter and Zach Collins will pick up the bulk of the minutes left behind for the rest of the way. |
Draymond Green | GSW | Hand | DAY TO DAY | Green was able to practice on Tuesday and all signs are pointing to him playing in game five without any restrictions. Monitor this! |
Marcus Smart | BOS | Oblique | 3-5 Weeks | Smart will need to miss time w/ a torn Oblique and Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown will pick up minutes and usage. The Celtics will have to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals for any shot to see Smart again. |
Dejounte Murray | SAS | Torn ACL | OUT FOR THE PLAYOFFS | Murray is out for the 2018-2019 playoffs. Patty Mills , Derrick White and Bryn Forbes will see a ton of minutes. |
Malcolm Brogdon | MIL | Foot | DAY TO DAY | Brogdon is getting closer and could potentially make it back on the court in the next couple of games. George Hill will play more and Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton will see more usage until he returns. |
Enes Kanter | POR | Shoulder | DAY TO DAY | Kanter hurt his Shoulder in game 5 of the first round and he'll have a few days to rest it. He was able to still play with the bum Shoulder during the game. If he has to miss time, Zach Collins would get a minutes boost. |
Brook Lopez | MIL | Back | DAY TO DAY | Lopez is dealing with a minor Back injury and luckily he has a few days to rest it before the second round begins. If he can't go D.J. Wilson , Ersan Ilyasova and Giannis Antetokounmpo will get more run. |
OG Anunoby | TOR | Appendectomy | No Timetable | It normally takes a little under a month to get back in gear after having an Appendectomy and Norman Powell will see more playing time until he returns to action. |
Damian Jones | GSW | Shoulder | OUT FOR THE PLAYOFFS | He's out for the playoffs until we're told otherwise. There's been no indication that he's close to returning. DeMarcus Cousins and Kevon Looney will see more minutes. |
Mike Scott | PHI | Heel | DAY TO DAY | Scott hurt his Heel in game 5 and his status for the first game of the second round is up in the air at this point. Jonah Bolden will see more playing time if Scott has to miss any action. |
Pau Gasol | MIL | Ankle | No Timetable | Gasol battled major health issues this season and can't see him being impactful for the playoffs meaning more playing time for Brook Lopez , D.J. Wilson and Ersan Ilyasova . |
Dante Exum | UT | Knee | No Timetable | Exum's Knee is partially torn and even though he hasn't been OFFICIALLY ruled out for the playoffs, it'll be hard to see him come back and have a legit role on this team. Ricky Rubio , Royce O'Neale and Raul Neto benefit. |
Donte DiVincenzo | MIL | Heel | OUT FOR THE PLAYOFFS | DiVincenzo's season is over. Tony Snell will get more minutes and George Hill will also pick up minutes. |
Chris Boucher | TOR | Back | DAY TO DAY | Boucher continues to get ruled out of games. His Back may not be as injured as we think but regardless, he's still not getting any love in the Raptors rotation. |
Guerschon Yabusele | BOS | Back | DAY TO DAY | Yabusele hasn't played in the Playoffs yet and he's dealing with a "sore lower Back". He's not getting any run in the Celtics rotation. |
