Welcome back to another edition of the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! It is Wednesday, and we have a large 9-game slate on tap in the Association. There is literally tons of value on the slate already, with likely more to come, but for now, here is where we are!
DRAFTKINGS
1. Svi Mykhailiuk ($3,900)- I will say the lower-priced tier on DK is not very favorable at the current time, and I feel like Svi can bring you the safest floor for the price. The Pistons are totally depleted at the guard spot, are without Derrick Rose for two weeks, also have the direct back-up to Rose in Brandon Knight , who is also questionable to play and could sit as a result. Needless to say, they will need Svi to chuck beans tonight. Svi has taken 11 and 14 FGAs over his last two games, where he also played 30 and 39 minutes, while posting 25 and 26 DK point totals. Not exactly the fantasy point totals you would hope for, but if he could string together a game where he scores in double-figures and pulls down 2-4 boards, dishes a dime or two, and has a steal or two, he could be in line for a better out-put, and could get that opportunity tonight against the Thunder, who are also on a back-to-back, at home.
2. Naz Reid ($5,100)- The LSU product went off last night in front of his home crowd in New Orleans for 47 DK points on a 13 point, 14 board, three assists, two blocks, and three steals stat-line against the Pelicans. Tonight, he gets a much easier match-up against the Bulls, who have also allowed the 5th most DK points to the Center spot over their last ten contests. Naz has seen 27 or more minutes in his last three of five games, and has filled in nicely for KAT while he has been out with a wrist fracture. Naz has topped 27 fantasy points in each of his last two contests as well.
3. RJ Barrett ($5,800)- Barrett has been playing well over his last five or so games, and his production numbers have shown. Barrett has topped 28 DK points in four of his last five games, averaging 33.75 DK points over those games, while seeing at least 32 minutes as well per game. This was good for a 1.04 FP/M, and tonight the Knicks will welcome in the Utah Jazz into Madison Square Garden. It is highly noteworthy to mention that the Jazz have also allowed the MOST DK points to opposing SGs over their last 10 games.
FANDUEL
1. Wendell Carter Jr. ($4,000)- Let me be the first to say that the pricing on FD is crazy-bad tonight. WCJr. kicks it off, as he is $1.5K more on DraftKings than he is over on FD tonight. It has already been reported that he will once again see around the 24-minute range in Minnesota tonight, however, this is a great match-up, in a nice pace-up spot as well. Wendell has now played in two games since returning, playing 18 and 23 minutes in those two, putting up 22.8 and 16.7 FD points, while grabbing six or more rebounds, scoring six or more points, and swatting a total of two shots over the span as well. If you want to put down a spot over on FD, I think you could make a case for using WCJr.
2. Juancho Hernangomez ($4,900)- HernanGoat is also $700 cheaper over on FD than he is on DK, however, I don’t exactly mind the price on DK tonight in this spot against the Bulls at home. Juancho has been very good since joining the Wolves, he has played 31 or more minutes in his last three of four, while also notching out FD point totals of 27.5, 48.1, 29.9, and 35.6 over his last four as well. The Bulls are also allowing the 6th most FD points to opposing small forwards, so this seems like quite the no-brainer over on FD.
3. Caris LeVert ($6,000)- Take advantage of the fact that today’s slate was created, along with pricing before last night’s slate of games, in which Caris scored over 25 actual in the fourth quarter against the Celtics to finish with 51 actual on the night, good for 66 FD points. He has now topped 60 FD points in two of his last four, while also putting up 36, 44.4, and 35.8 FD points on his home floor since entering the starting lineup with the injury ending Kyrie Irving ’s season. This price is very bad, and he gets a pace-up spot against the Grizz tonight on his home floor, so take advantage.
