Welcome back to the Sunday, March 1st, edition of the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! Just a four-game main slate for today, so the value is pretty thin, but I like the options. See below.
DRAFTKINGS
Monte Morris ($4,400)- There truly isn't a ton of value at the guard spot today, I would like pay up for guards, pay down at F/C today. However, although the match-up isn't lovely for Monte here, he has been really good on his home floor lately. Over his last four games in Denver, he has averaged 27.50 DK fantasy points, along with 26.25 mins per game, good for a 1.05 FP/M. If you feel the need to find value at the guard spot, I wouldn't punt too hard, and I feel Monte is safe enough today, but mainly GPP dart.
Jerami Grant ($4,500)- With Paul Millsap dealing with injuries once again, Grant has stepped back in and is playing well again in relief. Grant has seen 29 minutes in back-to-back games, while also putting up 37 and 34 DK points in those two as well. He has also taken 15 FGAs in both, which is very encouraging, while also scoring 20 and 29 actual, grabbing four or more boards, with two steals and a block as well over the last two. The Raptors could potentially be without Serge Ibaka once again today, and this would be good news for the paint Bigs of Denver.
Marquese Chriss ($5,500)- Washington has been a team to target all season long, and going right back at the bulls-eye once again here with Chriss. Chriss has seen his minutes be inconsistent lately, and with Draymond being in, and out, and In, etc., really has messed up the rotations for the Warriors. Nonetheless, Chriss has played 23 or more minutes in his last three, and also in ten of his last eleven contests. He has produced well lately also, putting up 34 or more DK points in five of his last seven, and this game should be played really fast, as it features two top ten PACE teams, and the total currently sits at 234.
FANDUEL
Brandon Knight ($3,600)- Take the smaller price on Knight here on Fanduel, as he is $500 more on DK. I don't mind the price either on DK, so literally he is in play on both sites. The Pistons have rolled out Knight in relief of starting PG Derrick Rose quite a bit over the last couple of games, and Knight has now seen 24 minutes in back-to-back games. He has also scored at least 21 or more FanDuel points in his last three straight, going for 21.9, 25.4, and 28.4 over that span. It is also worth noting that this is a nice match up against the Kings today, who are allowing the 6th most DK points to opposing PGs over their last 10 games.
Eric Paschall ($4,300)- Paschall is $5.2K over on DraftKings tonight, so the price is much more affordable on FanDuel. Paschall is consistently seeing good mins, but the production has been shaky at best. However, he has come alive on the scoring front of the Warrior's last two games, as he has scored 23 and 25 actual in his last two. He has also seen 30 or more minutes in his last four of five games. Earlier this season when the Warriors played in WAS, Paschall played 24 minutes and put up 25.5 FD points. Again, as mentioned above, this game has a very high total, and should have great pace. So, feel Paschall is a nice tourney dart on FD tonight.
Harry Giles ($5,000)- This is why I said I feel you pay up for guards tonight and can pay down at F/C. There are quite a few value options at the F/C spot, and Giles is likely one of my favorites. Giles is $5.6K on DK, and I honestly don't mind that price either, so he is easily in play on both sites tonight, likely in all formats as well, as the Pistons have been an atrocity against the Center spot, allowing the 4th most FD points to the spot over their last 10 games. Giles has put up 29 or more FD points in his last four straight, while scoring at least 14 or more actual in his last four, grabbed eight or more rebounds in his last three of four, swatted four shots in his last five, along with two steals as well. Nice value on Giles tonight against the Pistons at home.
