DraftKings
Joe Harris , SG/SF $5,400 – Harris is expected to play this evening against the Celtics after sitting out Tuesday’s game against the Bucks. The game prior we saw Harris play 37 minutes against the Wizards and go off for 41 DK points. The Celtics are coming off a loss to the Heat where they really struggled to defend the perimeter, especially Duncan Robinson who was 5-for-11 from three-point range. If the Celtics don’t improve there tonight then Harris could be in for another strong night.
Brandon Clarke , PF/C $4,600 – With Jaren Jackson ruled out Clarke is getting the start tonight in his absence. When on the floor this season Clarke is averaging just under a fantasy point per minute with Jackson out and seeing that he should be in line close to 30 minutes that would put him around 6-7x upside.
Jerome Robinson , SG/SF $4,800 – We knew someone was going to replace the scoring from Bradley Beal but I don’t think we expected Robinson to take on such a big role. In the three games since the return he is averaging 30 minutes while shooting 46% from the floor, 33% from three-point range and 25.1 fantasy points. If he is going to be a free-shooter then it’s hard not to like him at under $5,000.
FanDuel
Marcus Smart , SG $5,800 – With Kemba Walker ruled out we should see 30-to-35 minutes of Marcus Smart running point guard for the Celtics today against the Nets. Smart, especially on FanDuel, offers some increased value thanks to his defensive upside with steals and occasional blocked shots as a guard. He also has random games where his shooting goes off. I like him a lot in GPPs.
Grayson Allen , SG $3,700 – Might as well jump back on the train here with Allen who has seen his minutes on the rise over the past few games and with it comes the production as he has gone for 22 and 23 FP which would be 6-to-7x his current price tag.
Michael Porter PF $5,500 – I’ve touted MPJ all season long. The kid has the ability to be a real stud. He is going to be a bit inconsistent with this essentially being his rookie year but what we saw against the Thunder the other night honestly isn’t a fluke. Before his injury in college he was in the conversation as being the No.1 overall pick in the draft with Kevin Durant -esk comparisons. If he starts again tonight we should be all over him and hope to see him string together another strong outing.
