Meatloaf is back on the NBA best bets menu, boys and girls! After a tough first half, the Minnesota Timberwolves put up a third quarter for the ages.

They scored 52 points against the Memphis Grizzlies which allowed them to coast to a 141-125 victory, easily clearing the -2.0 spread. They also allow themselves an opportunity to move out of eighth place with just two games remaining on the schedule.

Despite not playing most of an intense fourth quarter, Jalen Duren earned 13 rebounds and cleared his proposition of over 10.5. The Detroit Pistons also were victorious in the process, proving they are more than capable of hanging with the New York Knicks in a seven-game series.

The risky Same Game Parlay turned out to be just that… risky. Rudy Gobert and Zach Edey were unable to earn eleven rebounds. That is okay because this NBA predictions column won +0.78 units yesterday, proving once again that, ‘Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad’.

NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 4/11

The NBA loads up on the last Friday of the regular season. All 30 teams are in action, and there are several games with playoff seeding implications on the line.

The first of our NBA best bets today is not one of those games, but on a team we have bet on throughout the season.

Wizards vs. Bulls Prediction: Chicago -5.5 & Giddey O9.5 Rebounds (+102 on DraftKings) *BET OF THE NIGHT

The Chicago Bulls and their players have been mentioned more than any other set of team and players this season. They are a team full of playmakers, scorers, and great rebounders. That is once again the focal point of this Same Game Parlay, and it takes a look at Josh Giddey once again.

Just two days ago Giddey successfully delivered on his rebounding proposition of over 8.5 rebounds. He earned 16 against the Miami Heat to set the Bulls up with an opportunity to host a play-in game. He is now playing against the worst rebounding team in the Association, the Washington Wizards.

The Wizards have allowed an average of 57.1 rebounds per game this season, the most in the NBA. Over their last three games they have allowed an average of 65.0 rebounds per game. They have been the worst rebounding team over the past two seasons, and Giddey is really becoming a force for the Bulls.

Giddey entered the league with high regards, and a player many thought would develop into an All-Star. Although that was not the case with the Oklahoma City Thunder, he is truly shining with the Chicago Bulls

His rebounding has also been next level since the trade of Zach Lavine. Giddey averages 8.1 rebounds per game this season but has 10 or more in his last three matches. He has also recorded double digits in four of his last seven matches, oftentimes while earning double digit assists.

The rebounding line had some slight juice on it, so a teased down spread was included to get it to positive odds. The Bulls are -17.0 favorites but -5.5 is suggested as it is the first available teased down line to put the prediction into plus odds territory. Put a unit on this Same Game Parlay at DraftKings, and make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s promotional offer.

Grizzlies vs. Nuggets Prediction: Denver -6.5 (-110 on Bet365)

The second of our NBA best bets today does have direct playoff seeding implications. The Denver Nuggets host the Memphis Grizzlies at Ball Arena in a pivotal Western Conference showdown. For the Grizzlies this is their second crucial match in as many days. They hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves yesterday, who easily defeated them, then flew to Denver in order to play a rested Nuggets team.

Despite the loss yesterday, the Grizzlies are still in seventh place, ahead of Minnesota. With every team playing today, a loss by the Grizzlies and win by the Timberwolves would cause a flip of standings. This would force Memphis to go on the road against Minnesota for the play-in. It is an important game for the Grizzlies, but how much gas do they have in the tank after a tough game against the Timberwolves?

Denver is still adjusting to life without their decade long Head Coach. However, they won their first game without Michael Malone in a style we have not seen the Nuggets play with. Four starters had over 20 points, and Jalen Pickett recorded a career high 18 points.

Jamal Murray is listed as doubtful for this match, and that will once again put scoring pressure on Michael Porter and Aaron Gordon. Of course, Nikola Jokic can still turn it on when needed.

Both of these teams have high powered offenses and are the top two of the Western Conference. Memphis averages 1.0 point per game more, with a 121.7 average. Both teams are capable of putting up numbers and expect this match to be back and forth with the highest projected total today, 244.5 points.

The difference is Denver is at home, they are rested, and they have the better roster. Put a unit for the Nuggets to cover the -6.5 spread on Bet365 and if a new customer, make sure to take advantage of the promotional offer at the end of this article.

Our last of the NBA best bets today focuses on one of the largest spreads of the day.

Nets vs. Timberwolves Prediction: Brooklyn +19.5 (-110 on FanDuel)

The Minnesota Timberwolves won a crucial game yesterday and have what might be called a “meatball” in rec league softball matches. An easy hit, or in the Timberwolves case, an easy win. However easy it may be, a +19.5 spread against the Brooklyn Nets is too disrespectful.

First off, the Timberwolves have been pushed hard and played several games which have required a lot of effort in the second half or overtime. Although they should win this match, it is not out of the possibility they lose tonight. Brooklyn has a great opportunity to cover the +19.5 spread.

First and foremost, the Nets covered this spread against the Timberwolves in their most recent match on April third. Brooklyn will be without Day’Ron Sharpe, Cameron Johnson, and D’Angelo Russell, but they have been without players throughout the season. Brooklyn has won three of their last six games and covered a +19.5 spread in two of the three games they lost.

Minnesota could rest some players as their injury report is not required until the walk around this afternoon. If the coaching staff deems this an easy win they could rest their stars this game, and the season finale against the Utah Jazz Sunday. The potential is even higher if they believe they are in the play-in.

Put a unit on the Brooklyn Nets to play good enough to cover a ridiculously high spread. To readers that are not customers with FanDuel make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s promotional offer.
