NBA Best Bets Today, 4/1: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Tuesday

March ended with a clean sweep from Fantasy Alarm NBA best bets, all four predictions were successful, and seven of the last eight wagers have brought the unit count up. The Boston Celtics destroyed the Memphis Grizzlies 117-103 covering both spreads in the ladder. The Los Angeles Clippers held the Orlando Magic to 87 points and covered their -3 spread too.
Mark Williams recorded 13 rebounds yesterday, helping the Charlotte Hornets win against the Utah Jazz, 110- 106. The Same Game Parlay of Williams rebounds and the Hornets under 119.5 was successful at plus odds. Together those wins earned a return on investment of +4.54 units.
A great way to end the busy month of March’s NBA predictions with a little spring cleaning with the brooms out at the Fantasy Alarm Betting Bungalow.
NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 4/1
There are seven matches today with two nationally televised games on TNT. For an in depth look at the first match, the Timberwolves vs. Nuggets, make sure to read our article covering lineups, injuries, betting odds, general thoughts, and a wager.
The first of our NBA best bets today takes place in the lone star state.
Magic vs. Spurs Prediction: Total U220.5 (-110 on Bet365) *BET OF THE NIGHT
The San Antonio Spurs host the Orlando Magic at the Frost Bank Center in an intra-conference matchup. The Magic are playing the second of back-to-back matches and were held to just 87 points against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Spurs do not have as good a defense as the Clippers but will be playing a tired team who had to travel after a physically tough match.
The Orlando Magic have the worst offense in the Association, scoring just 104.9 points per game. They do have a good defense allowing just 105.7 points per game this season, which also benefits this best bet. The Spurs average 114.2 points per game but are not the same offensive team without Victor Wembanyama.
The Spurs are playing for a potential lottery pick, and the Magic are playing for the seventh seed of the Eastern Conference. The Magic could rest players today, and put stress on their thin lineup, which would only help this prediction. The referees are allowing tighter defense in preparation for the playoffs, and the scores have been reflecting it.
This best bet is heavily reliant on the Orlando Magic either not scoring well, playing great defense, or both. If either of those should happen then this match should end up well under 221 points.
The Spurs do not want to win this match, and the Magic cannot score often nor quickly. Put a unit on under 220.5 total points at Bet365, and make sure to take advantage of the promotional offer at the end of this article.
Suns vs. Bucks Prediction: Milwaukee ML & Gary Trent O2.5 Threes Made (+116 SGP on DraftKings)
An important battle takes place in Wisconsin today, and it happens to be a rematch of the 2021 NBA Finals. The Milwaukee Bucks host the Phoenix Suns at the Fiserv Forum, and what is expected to be a close game. The Bucks are -5.5-point favorites in a match similar to a soap opera.
The current coach of the Suns was the championship coach for the 2021 Bucks. Superstars are experiencing untimely injuries; the Bucks will be without Damian Lillard and the Suns without Kevin Durant in addition to Bradley Beal being listed as questionable.
The Suns had high championship aspirations, but they most likely will feel the heartache of being one of the worst teams in the Association. The play-in seems unlikely at this point, and their season has to be considered one of the most disappointing teams of all-time.
Milwaukee is 1.5 games behind the fifth place Detroit Pistons and have eight games remaining on their schedule. They can in theory sneak back into fifth or be content playing the New York Knicks in the first round. But they really need to find their rhythm without Lillard, including more involvement from Gary Trent
Trent Jr. has been a lethal three-point scorer, in a ‘3&D’ roll for Milwaukee. With Lillard out even more three-point scoring falls on his shoulders, but he has been reliable for his teammates. Trent Jr. has made three or more three-point field goals in five of his last six matches. He recorded 51 three-point attempts in those six games as well and will be relied on to attempt several today.
The Bucks should win with ease and with Trent converting 41.8% of his three-point attempts, covering a 2.5 made threes line should be easy. Put a unit on the two-fold Same Game Parlay and prepare for Giannis Antetokounmpo to cause tears and heartache for Phoenix fans.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 4/1
The Philadelphia 76ers play today, and that means we must have at least one of our NBA best bets today against them.
It just so happens to be the last of our NBA best bets today that does just that.
76ers vs. Knicks Prediction: Karl-Anthony Towns O10.5 Rebounds (-115 on Bet365)
Normally the plan is to tease up the spread against Philadelphia, and while the New York Knicks could win by as many as thirty, the spread is avoided. The sportsbooks must have felt the pain from our teased-up recommendations, as they have jumped the number up to +14.5.
That is a heck of a number to cover with a team’s best player still injured. So instead of taking the spread, or teasing it up, we return to a player that has been very kind to NBA best bets this season. Karl Anthony Towns, starting center of the New York Knicks.
Town’s numbers have been inconsistent without Jalen Brunson, but he is still a force in the paint. He is averaging 12.8 rebounds per game this season and has recorded over 10.5 rebounds in four of the Knicks last five games. New York has won two in a row, and with one more would almost guarantee the fourth place Indiana Pacers won’t catch them at third.
This is a very winnable match for the Knicks, and Towns will have an advantage over Justin Edwards, Quentin Grimes, Jared Butler, none of whom average over 4.5 rebounds per game. Andre Drummond, Joel Embiid, and Paul George are all out, and Philadelphia is doing everything it can to actively lose matches. If someone is grabbing too many rebounds, they are likely to be benched.
It was extremely difficult not to tease up Towns rebounding line for positive odds, but the scenario that he rests most of the fourth quarter is realistic. For him to earn 11 rebounds in 30 minutes of court time is not a big ask, and something he has done several times this season.
In support of our wager, Head Coach Tom Thibodeau puts his players on the floor longer than any other coach. Put a unit on Towns to deliver with over 10.5 rebounds, and build the bankroll bet by bet.
