NBA Best Bets Today, 3/30: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Sunday

Yesterday was a bit odd for Fantasy Alarm’s NBA best bets, the plus odd wager was successful and both negative wagers were unsuccessful. The Chicago Bulls tried to replicate their magic from yesterday, but came up just short as the Dallas Mavericks won by one point. The Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards both scored over their average, ruining any chance for the under to be less than 214.5 points.
The Miami Heat did win against the Philadelphia 76ers and Tyler Herro made five of nine threes, ensuring the +120 NBA best bet delivered. In doing so it kept the damage to a minimum.
NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 3/30
There are eight games across the Association today, with two of them nationally televised on NBATV. The first NBA best bet today comes from a match in Philadelphia.
Raptors vs 76ers Prediction: Spread Ladder TOR -3.5 (-110 on Bet365) TOR -9.5 (+185 on Bet365) *BET OF THE NIGHT
NBA Best bets picked on the Philadelphia 76ers yesterday, and we are back at it again today. The data coming from the Betting Bungalow suggest that Philadelphia is terrible, and looking to finish worse… if possible. Today they host the Toronto Raptors, and although they are resting players, they should win this match against the 76ers.
First and foremost Philadelphia is playing in the second of back to back games and could rest what few players they have available. They are pushing hard for a high lottery draft pick and should have no issues losing the rest of the season. The Raptors are in the same boat as the 76ers, eliminated and looking for a top prospect. However Toronto has won three in a row, and has a better, healthier roster than Philadelphia.
Scottie Barnes is expected to play, and he will be the best player on the court. He is more than capable of leading his team to a victory on the road, and with nothing to gain nor nothing to lose, he should have an outstanding game. In part that is what this ladder is projecting. If Barnes and RJ Barrett play as they have all season the Raptors should cruise to a victory much higher than their projected spread.
The Raptors are projected to win by -3.5 points and one unit should be put on the set spread line. However there is a realistic possibility that the Raptors win this match by double digits. It is suggested to put a unit on the alternate spread of -9.5 as well.. With two units on the line for this match, a big payday could happen. Clippers vs Cavaliers Prediction: LAC +7.5 (-108 FanDuel Sportsbook)
The second NBA best bet today comes from a team that we have bet on for three consecutive matches with successful outcomes. Today we go back to them again and take a massive spread in their favor.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting the Los Angeles Clippers at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. It is the first game of today, with an early start time of 3:30 PM ET. The Clippers have been playing their best basketball of the season, while the Cavaliers have been playing their worst of the year. That is part of the reason today’s best bet suggestion is to take the +7.5 spread on the Clippers.
Los Angeles has won two in a row, and eight of their last ten matches. They have steadily climbed the Western Conference rankings and are currently in sixth place… but just barely. They own the tiebreaker over the Golden State Warriors, and that is what is separating the Clippers from the play-in… a tie breaker. They have no games to let up if they hope to avoid the play-in, including against the best team in the Eastern Conference.
The Cavaliers lost their most recent match, and have dropped five of their last ten matches. By far their worst ten game stretch of the season, but they still only have 15 losses on the year. They also enjoy a 4.0 game lead over the Boston Celtics with only 8 games remaining on their schedule. Even if they remain .500 over the eight game stretch (4-4), Boston would have to win all of their remaining games to earn the first seed.
Los Angeles allows almost four points per game less than the Cavaliers, 108.4 points to 112.2 points. Even though the Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard, they still have James Harden, Norman Powell, and Ivica Zubac. Those three form a nucleus that have played together all season, and are putting up career high numbers. The Clippers have a great chance to win this match, but they only need to lose by seven or less points for this wager to be successful.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 3/30
The last NBA best bet today comes on a player that will be asked to carry his team to a title with little to no help from another superstar.
Hawks vs Bucks Prediction: Giannis Antetokounmpo O32.5 Points (-105 on DraftKings Sportsbook)
Giannis Antetokounmpo is having another MVP caliber season, but he does not have a backcourt player to help ease the burden of taking the Milwaukee Bucks to another NBA Finals. Damian Lillard has been ruled out indefinitely with a blood clot, and the timetable of his return is unknown. Without him the Bucks are relying on roleplayer to fill the void of a superstar.
Antetokounmpo is more than capable of carrying a team, and his season statistics will earn him several MVP votes after the regular season concludes. His per game averages this year are; 34.0 minutes, 30.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.0 assist, and 1.2 blocks. Those are MVP level numbers, but this best bet just needs him to score points.
The Atlanta Hawks host the Bucks at State Farm Arena, and both teams have something meaningful to play for. Milwaukee is just 1.5 games back from the Detroit Pistons and the Atlanta Hawks are currently tied with the Orlando Magic for seventh. However Orlando owns the tiebreaker over Atlanta and the Hawks are eighth. If they want to host the first match of the play-in they will need to win most of their remaining games.
Antetokounmpo has scored over 32.5 points just once in his last nine games, but the expectation is for him to score 33 or more points against the Hawks. The sportsbooks have moved his point line three points above his average in anticipation of a high scoring game. That is Fantasy Alarm’s expectation as well.
The Bucks average 114.3 points per game, and the Hawks allow 119.4 points per game. That is the third most points allowed per game in the Association. Antetokounmpo will play over his average of 34 minutes today, and will exceed his point total against a bad defensive front court.
Look for Antetokounmpo to stay active in the paint, and get to the free throw line often. Put a unit on him covering his high point line today. If you are a new customer to DraftKings Sportsbook, make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s promotional offer.
