NBA Best Bets & Player Props November 13: The Raptors Take Care of Business
Monday, Monday! The NBA is wrapping up its fourth week of the season, it moves so fast! There are only four games tonight, the New York Knicks play the Boston Celtics in what could be a defensive battle with several All-Stars. The Washington Wizards travel north of the border to take on the Toronto Raptors. The battle of cities on the lake tips off at 8:00 PM ET with Demar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls taking on Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miluawakee Bucks. Evan Mobley and the Cleveland Cavaliers continue their California tour against the Sacramento Kings. Only the Cleveland Cavaliers and Sacramento Kings have a tight moneyline, under -150 odds for each team, the rest are projected blowouts. Tonight’s Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets focus on an under bet, a teased three-leg same game parlay, and a two leg teased parlay. Including a +220 favorable bet.
BET OF THE NIGHT
SAME GAME PARLAY: Raptors to win, OVER 222.5 points, Scottie Barnes 8+ Rebounds +220 MGM
The Raptors are finally back home after a four game road stretch. They went 2-2 in those four games and have played some great basketball. They are 4-5 this season, and welcome in the Washington Wizards who are a dismal 2-7. The Raptors are -450 for the moneyline tonight, and to help boost the odds the total has been teased down. The Washington Wizards allow the most points in the Eastern Conference with 123.8 per game. They are second only to the San Antonio Spurs, who Toronto put up 123 points against on the fifth of this month. Toronto allows 109.4 points per game and their combined average is 232 points. The line tonight is at 228.5, and just for insurance has been teased down to 222.5 points. This seems like an obtainable number. The last leg added to the bet is Scottie Barnes 8+ rebounds. The 2021 fourth overall pick is really stepping his game up this season, and could be in the running for most improved player if you are into hedging future bets. He has 8+ rebounds in all but one game this season, and that was their last game of a long road trip against Boston. He could have a double-double but this is a teased bet removing the hook from his original rebounding line. Three legs, for a great return on investment.
More NBA Bets
TOTAL: NY Knicks @ BOS Celtics UNDER 222.5 -110 MGM
The New York Knicks are playing the exact style their head coach has utilized his entire NBA coaching career, tough defense. Tom Thibodeau’s teams are always tough, and play some of the best defense in the league. The New York Knicks are allowing the least amount of points in the Eastern Conference with 103.2 points per game, only 0.1 off from the Minnesota Timberwolvees league leading 103.1. The Knicks do not have a consistent, high-scoring player outside of Jalen Brunson. Luckily they have held their opponents under 100 points in four games this season, a difficult task in the modern NBA. The Boston Celtics are also playing good defense, allowing only 106.8 points per game. That mark is currently sixth in the Association, and it should hold true tonight. The Celtics are capable of putting up big points, but also play great defense. Their averages combined add up to 209, and although the bookies are great at predicting the total score, this one does not need to be teased. Place a unit on the under.
SAME GAME PARLAY: CHI Bulls @ MIL Bucks OVER 224.5 and Giannis Antetokounmpo Double Double -115 MGM
The Miluawkee Bucks are all over the place this season, and are allowing 119.3 points per game, sixth most in the league. They seem to be struggling to find their new identity, but they are getting to the foul line. Damian Lillard and G. Antetokounmpo has more free throw attempts than the Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets, and San Antonio have as a team! That is one avenue to getting the over, and so is allowing tons of points. Chicago is capable of doing just that with their superstar combination of DeMar DeRozan and Zach Lavine. At some point of almost every game one of those two makes a nice scoring run. The Double-Double does not have much stand alone value but helps this teased down line get closer to even odds. Two legs, but three statistics needed for this bet to hit in a divisional rivalry.
