Happy Thursday everyone, there is an amazing set of games to be played today with eight in total. Of those sixteen teams in action, seven of them are in back-to-back games, and due to that several player props are not currently out. However Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets found a few wonderful player props worthy of a wager. There are two nationally televised games today, the Utah Jazz at Detroit Pistons with a 7:00 PM ET tip off. The interesting note on this game is the Detroit Pistons, who are arguably the worst NBA team in seventy-eight years of NBA teams, are set at +100 to win this game, by far their best odds over the past three weeks. If you are feeling bold, want a good story to tell, and believe that Detroit can snap their twenty-four game losing streak, that opportunity could happen on the first day of winter. That game is followed by another set of losing teams in the Washington Wizards at Portland Trail Blazers with a 10:00 PM ET tip off. That is three of the four bottom ranked teams, and even with the Jazz’s record, there are a combined twenty-three wins from all four teams… the Boston Celtics have twenty-one. There are two props in the San Antonio Spurs at Chicago Bulls match which has a 8:00 PM ET tip off. There is also a bet in the Orlando Magic at Milwaukee Bucks match tonight with points on the mind. All of the bets today, concentrate on the southwest beaches of Lake Michigan.

BET OF THE NIGHT: COBY WHITE (CHI) OVER 22.5 POINTS -110 MGM

Coby White had an off game last night, which adds validity to the statement made by the Hall of Fame member, and ABA champion coach Hubie Brown, ‘The most difficult road game is the first home game after a long road trip’. The Bulls won the match against the Los Angeles Lakers, but C. White had his worst point performance since November 14th against the Toronto Raptors. The odds on his point line moved to near even because of it and this column is taking advantage. C. White has gone over this line in five of his last seven games, and the San Antonio Spurs allow the sixth most points to opposing guards this year. The San Antonio Spurs also allow 122.5 points per game, fourth most in the Association. Since the Zach Lavine injury Coby White has been a scoring machine and if his three point attempts go up tonight this should be an easy cover.

PROP BET: VICTOR WEMBANYAMA (SA) OVER 2.5 BLOCKS -130 DK

Victor Wembanyama is listed as questionable but expected back after missing the last game against the Milwaukee Bucks. This bet has also become a Fantasy Alarm favorite, as he is averaging 3.0 blocks per game in his rookie year. He also has a favorable matchup against the Chicago Bulls tonight. The Chicago Bulls are playing in back-to-back games, and even though the Bulls are at home, they will likely have tired legs. In addition to that, V. Wembanyama had four blocks against the Bulls in their last meeting on December 8. V. Wembanyama is a special talent, with a unique body, and he excels at blocking shots. The Bulls should outscore the Spurs, should have more offensive shots, and that will lead to more block opportunities for the rookie. Place a unit for V. Wembanyama to get his average tonight.

GAME PROP: MILWAUKEE BUCKS FIRST TO TEN POINTS -140 DK

There is not any value on the Milwaukee Bucks moneyline as they are predicted to power past the Orlando Magic tonight. The spread is set at -7 which should be obtainable for Milwaukee tonight, since they are well rested. The only issue is a spread bet would be a straight bet, and straight bets have not been kind to this column. To avoid that, we are looking at a game prop in a race to ten points. The Bucks are rested and the Magic had to travel from Florida after a match against the Miami Heat last night. Milwaukee averages 30.4 points in the first quarter, which is the fifth highest total in the Association. Orlando averages 27.4 points in the first quarter, which is the eighth worst in the Association. With them traveling from the southernmost state to a state bordering the Canadian border, look for the lag to not be limited to just the plane but also the game. Trust the Bucks to come out fast with Giannis Antetokounmpo slamming through the paint.
