Point Guard

Giannis Antetokounmpo is in one of the lowest scoring games of the night but that doesn’t scare me away. He’s the cheapest he’s been all season and no one on the Magic will be able to contain The Freak. He’s one of the best plays at PG today.

Kyle Lowry is often thought of as a top defender but the Raptors have been giving up some  big games to point guards as of late. Chris Paul is a whole nother animal and he should get back on track after a couple lackluster games.

John Wall has the best matchup you can ask for with the Phoenix Suns and I’ll be all over Wall. The decision will likely come down to deciding between the three aforementioned players but I’ll likely split my exposure up between the three. The Suns are dead last against PGs in fantasy points allowed so Wall should eat tonight.

Matthew Dellavedova has been quietly consistent as of late. He’s scored over 20 DK points in 4 of his last five. He’s very capable of putting up a dud but he’s been hitting 5x value as of late so he’s worth a look if you need to save some salary.

Jeff Teague has been on a tear with Paul George on the shelf and he should be in for another big game against the Warriors. He’s a GPP play for me today simply because the blowout potential is through the roof. With Pg-13, C.J. Miles and possibly Myles Turner all missing this game, Teague may only play through the third quarter.

Shooting Guard

I’m going to start this position out with my value play. Jonathan Gibson. He bursted onto the scene in the preseason and has already done the same for the regular season. He scored an incredible 41 DK points last game and he should be in for heavy minutes once again. Seth Curry is even a bit banged up and they’re playing the Spurs so this game will likely be over after the first five minutes. Great value play today.

Brandon Knight is also a solid value play tonight but remains a GPP play only. He should get the start once again tonight but his stat set has been awful for fantasy so far. We can only hope that he can add in some preferral stats but there’s a good chance he posts another empty line so tread carefully.

The SG position is probably my favorite spot to spend down at tonight. With Tony Allen and Chandler Parsons re-aggravating their injuries, James Ennis is looking at minutes in the 27-32 range. His ceiling isn’t very high but he should hit value with ease.

Small Forward

Glenn Robinson is one of the top plays of the day and he’s extremely cheap. With the Pacers two top SFs out for tonight. Robinson should see heavy minutes once again. He accumulated 34 DK points through 44 minutes last game and he should have his minutes in the 33-38 range tonight. Fire him up.

Kevin Durant is a great play regardless if it’s a blowout or not because he often plays into the fourth regardless of the score. I expect that to change as the season progresses but until then, take advantage of it. He’s seen under 30 minutes just once this season.

The #RevengeGame is tonight. The angry Markieff Morris will be battling his former team, the Phoenix Suns. They did not leave on a good note and the revenge game narrative has came to fruition much of this season (i.e. Serge Ibaka). He is nursing an ankle injury but throw him into a few GPPs and hope he explodes.

The Wizards players are too hard to ignore. Otto Porter Jr. also makes for a great pivot off of Markieff Morris. The Suns can’t guard any position and Porter has been very solid this year. Besides his huge explosion a few weeks back, Porter Jr. has been a bit quiet but he could have a very solid game against this abysmal Suns team.

Power Forward

Jabari Parker has had his fair share of big games and I expect him to have another solid performance tonight against the Magic. Orlando hasn’t been terrible against PFs this season but they certainly haven’t been anything special either. Limit your exposure but he could be in for another 45-pointer.

Draymond Green’s price has finally dropped below $7,000 after a few poor performances and I love it. Green has been a pretty steady contributor this season but he has yet to have a monster performance for obvious reasons. Green is a GPP play only.

With Cody Zeller already ruled out for tonight, Frank Kaminsky looks like a decent play. The matchup is terrible so this may be a GPP play but he logged 36 minutes in Zeller’s absence last game. He should be a safe bet for 5x value and could very well exceed value despite the matchup.

The Mavericks players’ minutes have been near impossible to project with all of the injuries. Dwight Powell should see some extra minutes tonight with Andrew Bogut on the shelf. Playing the Spurs is never an enticing matchup but they should play small quite a bit and I’m willing to roll the dice in GPPs.

Center

Alan Williams’ last two games have been crazy. He came out of nowhere to notch two straight double-doubles while also logging four steals and five blocks in those two. Will he ever be stopped? He’s earning some serious run right now and the rebuilding Suns will continue to feed him minutes behind Alex Len with Tyson Chandler away from the team.

Karl-Anthony Towns gets a pretty decent matchup against the Boston Celtics. He’s coming off an awful performance against the Grizzlies but that was fairly easy to predict. Boston will likely struggle to contain KAT and I love his price tag on DK.

How can you ignore the production of Hassan Whiteside? He’s averaging 19 rebounds and three blocks per game over the last month and he’s shown no signs of slowing down. The Sixers will not be able to slow him down and he could very well have a 20-20 game tonight. He’s a great play tonight.

Clint Capela continues to play well and has scored over 29 DK points in five straight games. His price has climbed quite a bit so my exposure to Capela will be a bit lower than it would be on most nights. He’s worth considering tonight but I certainly will not be going overboard with my exposure considering the other options at center.
