Point Guard

John Wall is battling a knee injury, but it seems like he’ll suit up for tonight’s game against the Hawks. It’s unclear how the knee injury is going to affect his play so there’s a cause for concern here. However, the Hawks have given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards over the last four weeks.

Russell Westbrook is also battling an injury, but it’s only a small blister on his shooting hand. He’s going to be fine and Westbrook should have his way with the Sixers. The $13k price tag is hefty, but if you’ve followed him this year you’d know it’s typically worth it.

Inconsistency continues to be one of Rajon Rondo’s issues and that’s not going to change. He’s coming off one of his best performances of the season where he scored 50 fantasy points. That’s not going to happen tonight, but we can hope for a 30-35 fantasy point performance.

Derrick Rose is in a tough spot against the Utah Jazz by the DraftKings pricing accounts heavily for matchups. He’s only $5,400 and he has a very good chance to hit value. The Jazz are never a fun team to pick players against, but Rose is very cheap.

Shooting Guard

Jimmy Butler is the only true scorer left on the Bulls. He should be shooting around 20 shots a game the rest of the way due to Dwyane Wade’s injury. Butler is still priced under $9,000 and this is likely the last chance you’ll be able to grab him at that price.

While Rondo has been inconsistent this year, it’s unfair to hate on him for it and not mention the same for Will Barton. Barton is coming off a 50 fantasy point performance, but he only scored 19 the game before. It’s going to be nearly impossible to guess when Barton goes off. If Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari sit out tonight, Barton can be considered in tournaments.

The Cavs have surprisingly given up the most fantasy points to opposing SGs over the last four weeks. Tonight they face Gary Harris who just had one of his best games of the season. He’s up to $6,300 and isn’t worth the pricetag in tournaments due to his low upside. Harris can be used in cash games as he’s a good bet for 30 every night.

Tim Hardaway Jr. destroyed plenty of people’s lineups in the Hawks’ last game, we can’t hold grudges. He has a solid matchup against the Wizards who rank 28th in DvP over the last four weeks and he’ll be starting again. Hardaway will also see lower ownership because of the dud.

Small Forward

Paul George is in play as a tournament option, but I wouldn’t recommend him in cash games. George can be played in cash, but there are better options on today’s slate. The Celtics are middle of the pack against SFs so it’s a neutral matchup for him.

Nicolas Batum should see his minutes rise back up to his season average of 34.6. He’s been somewhat limited over the last two contests because he was returning from a head injury. He’s averaging 40 fantasy points per game in three contests against the Magic this season and he’s under $7,000 so Batum is in a pretty good spot tonight.

Otto Porter exploded earlier in the season but he’s been pretty quiet over the last month. He’s always capable of scoring 40-plus fantasy points at extremely low ownership. It’s not a play I recommend using heavily, but Porter should be under 5-percent owned and he could be a league-winner. Proceed with caution though…

Thabo Sefolosha is in play today. That’s not something you see everyday. He played 28 minutes with Bazemore out and scored 30 fantasy points. Sefolosha hasn’t been a consistent fantasy producer in years, so don’t get too excited with his last game. If you’re stuck and need a guy under $4.5k, give Sefolosha a look.

Power Forward

Nikola Mirotic is one of the most frustrating DFS plays. I fell victim to his poor performance last night where he scored just 13.5 DK points. He’s a GPP play only but with Robin Lopez potentially missing tonight’s game due to a suspension, there could be even more opportunity for Mirotic.

Dario Saric had a rough outing against the Magic where he fouled out in just 26 minutes. Expect him to bounce back in a major way against the Thunder. He should be closer to the 40 fantasy point mark than the 30 and he has the potential for more.

The Bucks have been susceptible to giving up big games to big men all season along. Willie Cauley-Stein is going to play 30-plus minutes per game the rest of the way since the Kings season is all but over. His price should scare most people away, WCS can be considered in GPPs but not in cash.

Frank Kaminsky is coming off the bench and it’s likely going to stay that way until the season’s end. Even though he’s stuck in a bench role, he’s seen 30-plus minutes in three straight games. He’s only $5,600 and he’s a good bet for 25-30 fantasy points. He’s a fine play in both formats.

Center

Nikola Jokic’s price finally dropped to where it should be - $10,000. He’s been nearing the $11,000 mark for the last week or so and he hasn’t been able to hit value. The Nuggets will need Jokic to be at his best tonight and he’s in a great spot to have a classic Jokic game. Expect 50-60 fantasy points from the young phenom.

Dwight Howard will look to notch his fourth straight double-double tonight against the Wizards. Without Millsap, that shouldn’t be an issue. Millsap’s absence isn’t a huge boost for Howard, but he should still play well against the Wizards.

Richaun Holmes is only in play if Okafor is ruled out. He’s currently a GTD and you can’t play Holmes if we don’t get the answer before tip. Holmes is over the $6,000 threshold so there’s plenty of risk with playing him. He’s coming off his best game of the season and his ownership will be inflated.

Georgios Papagiannis looks like he’ll get some decent run down the final stretch. Even with five fouls, Papagiannis played 24 minutes in the Kings last game. He’s going to see minutes in the low 20’s for most of the remainder of the season so he’s worth a look as an under-the-radar value play.
