Tired of losing to players with dozens of entries into the same DFS contests? Play with us over on Fantasy Aces and greatly improve your chances to win big cash in daily fantasy hoops every single day.
Now is the perfect time to play daily hoops because most people have stop doing the research or don't check the starting lineups before rosters lock, which gives us a big advantage. Plenty of value plays out there that will allow you to pay up for a stud player or two. LeBron is the safest stud on the board, but you can't go wrong with Anthony Davis either.
The point guard position is filled with quality mid-tier options in Michael Carter-Williams, Jordan Clarkson, and Ish Smith. Smith is good for 30 fantasy points, while Clarkson has the highest ceiling in the group. Elfrid Payton is a good player to target in the top-tier because he consistently gets close to 40 fantasy points. Ramon Sessions is the best value option at the position with John Wall out. Evan Turner is a great player to target on DraftKings and Aces.
James Harden scares me because he faces the Spurs, a team that knows how to contain him. Plus, there are some really great options at the position in DeMar DeRozan and Kevin Martin. Both players are going to play heavy minutes and put up plenty of shots. Monta Ellis is a wild card because his price tag is reasonably low and he can blow up for a big game (especially with Chandler Parsons out), but he has also failed to reach value multiple times recently. Bradley Beal is a safe mid-tier option on Fanduel.
The small forward position actually has a good amount of quality plays at the position in LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard. Lebron's price tag is expensive, but he has the highest floor/ceiling at the position. Kawhi Leonard has been awesome recently despite only playing about 24 minutes per game. Expect him to play 30-plus minutes tonight as the Spurs face a tough Rockets team. That means Leonard has a great chance for a monster game. Tobias Harris is a great mid-tier option that will have no problem exceeding value. Omri Casspi becomes a superb value play with Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins out.
The power forward position has some of the best value options in Markieff Morris(on DraftKings), Marvin Williams, Mike Muscala, and even Tyler Hansbrough, who produced 32 fantasy points (on Fanduel) in 36 minutes of playing time last game when he started in place of Amir Johnson. Anthony Davis has struggled vs the Grizzlies this season, but he becomes a better option if the Grizz are without Zach Randolph because they have no one else that can even come close to guarding Davis. Nerlens Noel would be a better option if it wasn't for his expensive price tag.
The center position is filled with top-tier options that are unlikely to reach value. Nikola Vucevic is good for 40 fantasy points, but his price tag is outrageous on Fanduel. Marc Gasol is a solid mid-tier play, especially on DraftKings. Bismack Biyombo is one of the best value options on the board. Marcin Gortat and Jonas Valanciunas will both exceed 30 fantasy points tonight.
