Plenty of big tournaments out there tonight with 10 games on the schedule. DeMarcus Cousins is easily the top option because he is averaging 30 points, 17 points, 4.5 assists, 3.5 blocks, and 2.5 steals per game in the past 4 games.
The point guard position is filled with quality top-tier and mid-tier options. Damian Lillard, Reggie Jackson, and Elfrid Payton are all great top-tier options. Lillard is averaging 29 points and almost seven assists in three games vs the Lakers this season, Payton gets a favorable matchup vs the Timberwolves, and Reggie Jackson has show the ability to put up monster games when healthy. John Wall is a player to target if you want to be contrarian because he could explode for a big game if the Knicks are able to keep the game close. Deron Williams, Michael Carter-Williams, Jordan Clarkson (on DraftKings), and George Hill are all amazing mid-tier options.
The shooting guard position is really lacking talent at the top as Jimmy Butler is the best option, but it will be hard for him to exceed value because of his price tag. The Nets continue to fight for a playoff spot, which means Joe Johnson is going to continue to play heavy minutes, so that makes him the best mid-tier option at the position. Markel Brown and Jabari Brown are both great punt plays tonight. Lionel Hollins loves Markel Brown, which is why he has played 30-plus minutes in each of the past three games. Really like Evan Turner as a value option on DraftKings and Fantasy Aces as he continues to produce solid fantasy numbers. This is one of the best positions to save money at.
The small forward position is brutal besides Kawhi Leonard. While it is always hard to trust a Spurs player, especially in a game that could be a blowout, Leonard has had some of his biggest games of the season vs the Nuggets. Nicolas Batum is a safe mid-tier player to target. Also, target Otto Porter as a punt play if Paul Pierce sits out again.
Despite suffering a minor elbow injury in his previous game, Zach Randolph is the top option at the position because the Grizzlies will his scoring if they want to win, the Thunder have no one that can stop him, and his price tag is reasonably cheap. Anthony Davis would need to produce 60 fantasy points just to reach value tonight, which he has done only once in the past 10 games. That is why I'm staying away from him tonight. Ersan Ilyasova, Andrea Bargnani, and David West are decent mid-tier options(that is the order I have them ranked). Marvin Williams continues to be a quality low-tier option.
Marc Gasol should have no problem reaching value as he gets to face a terrible defensive center in Enes Kanter. Would like Brook Lopez a lot more if his price tag wasn't as high as it is. Marcin Gortat is a nice mid-tier play as he is going to feast on the Knicks brutal front court. Liked Tyler Zeller as a punt play, but his value took a hit when the Celtics announced Jared Sullinger was going to play tonight. Chris Kaman is a risky punt play that has put up good fantasy numbers (averaging 32 fantasy points on DraftKings) in two games vs the Lakers this season.
