Tonight’s MLB DFS slate is consistent across the board as DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo Fantasy will use five-game slates starting at 7:05 pm ET for your daily fantasy baseball lineups. With the Major League Baseball slate being so small on Thursday, June 16th, our MLB DFS value options are a bit more limited. So, we will look at the mid-tier pitchers like George Kirby of the Seattle Mariners and Tylor Megill of the New York Mets for MLB daily fantasy lineups today. As for the MLB DFS top hitters, Detroit Tigers shortstop Javier Báez is a player to target in an interesting matchup. On the bright side, it appears that we have no weather concerns to worry about tonight, which is amazing, but still keep up with the latest MLB weather report while you build MLB DFS lineups. Plus, check out the announced MLB Lineups, the updated MLB Vegas Odds for implied run totals, and the MLB DFS lineup generator. The MLB daily projections and the latest fantasy baseball news will also help out. Now let's look at some MLB DFS top picks in the value range for daily fantasy baseball contests tonight!

MLB DFS Pitchers

George Kirby, Seattle Mariners

(DraftKings - $6500 / FanDuel - $9400 / Yahoo - $38)

Kirby has been a bit up and down to start his MLB career, which is to be expected for a rookie. Still, his overall numbers are sharp through seven starts as he has a 3.65 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 35 punchouts across 37 innings of work. The strikeouts have seen a slight uptick lately as he has 24 over his last 22 innings. Tonight, Kirby will go up against the Los Angeles Angels and they currently rank 18th in runs per game and dead last in runs per game over the last three contests (just two total runs). The Angels also have the HIGHEST strikeout rate in the league this year at a 25.5-percent clip, which bodes well for Kirby.

Tylor Megill, New York Mets

(FanDuel - $9200 / Yahoo - $38)

Megill made his return off IL in his last start and he pitched decently, giving up two runs across 3.1 innings while striking out four. He tossed 64 pitches in that first start back, so he should be good to go for at least 75-85 pitches tonight. Outside of giving up eight runs against the Nationals on May 11th, Megill has pitched great this season. He has 41 strikeouts across 38 innings of work. Today he faces a Brewers offense that is very middle of the pack as they are 16th in runs per game this year and have a high strikeout rate that's the seventh-highest rate in the league.

MLB DFS Hitters

Alec Bohm, Philadelphia Phillies

(DraftKings - $3100 / FanDuel - $2500 / Yahoo - $13)

Bohm started the year off hot but cooled off. However, he appears to be heating back up as he is 5-for-13 over his last three games with three RBI and a pair of runs scored. The Phillies' third baseman has been a far better player on the road this year, slashing .280/.315/.390 compared to .233/.277/.325 at home in Philly. Today, Bohm gets to face the tomato can that is Washington Nationals lefty Patrick Corbin, who has a 6.65 ERA and 1.73 WHIP and has given up 89 hits and 26 walks in just 66.1 innings.

Ezequiel Duran, Texas Rangers

(DraftKings - $2500 / FanDuel - $2800)

Duran has scored 14, 21, 17, 10, and five DK points over his last five games with three multi-hit performances, a home run, two steals, four RBI, and five runs scored. He has been very impressive through his first 10 games in the bigs and we still get him at a cheap price (outside of Yahoo). Beau Brieske is not a good pitcher and his ERA currently stands at 4.34 with a 1.28 WHIP and 12 home runs allowed in 47.2 innings. I really don’t see the Tigers' starter ending the hot streak that Duran is currently on.

Javier Báez, Detroit Tigers

(FanDuel - $2400 / Yahoo - $7)

Baez has been horrendously bad this year and Martín Pérez has been great, so you may be asking yourself, “why on Earth would he play Baez"? Well, for starters, Baez still possesses home run and stolen base upside even if he hasn’t shown it much this season – which we love for a player at a near-minimum price. Secondly, as bad as he’s been, he’s still crushed against southpaws as he is slashing .357/.372/.476 against them this year – compared to his unsightly .141/.194/.235 line against righties. Lastly, Perez fell back down to Earth in his last start as he was tagged for 12 hits and seven runs across five innings of work.
