Byron Buxton will get a great matchup against Ryan Weathers and the Miami Marlins here and he’s one of my favorite Underdog MLB DFS Picks of the day. Buxton has a .191 ISO, a .270 xISO, and a .351 wOBA against left-handed pitching. 

Ryan Weathers as I mentioned is starting in this spot, and allows a .194 ISO and a .329 xISO against righties. In his first start back from the injured list, righties had a .563 ISO and .494 wOBA.

 

 


 

Logan Gilbert MLB Underdog Pick: More Than 31.5 Fantasy Points

We’re getting the best version of Logan Gilbert of late as he’s missing a TON of bats and getting deep into games. Gilbert has six or more strikeouts in each of his last nine starts and 14 of 15. He’s also topped this fantasy score in four of five games and seven of nine. 

In that span, he’s topped this score against the Yankees, Mets, and Phillies, so tough matchup be damned! The Astros will be without Yordan Alvarez in this game, making that lineup far less potent than usual. This number is FAR too low for the caliber pitcher Gilbert is.
