Jose Berrios PrizePicks MLB Pick
We have a home start here for Berrios as the Blue Jays face off against the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox this season continue to struggle against right-handed pitching, ranking dead last in wOBA, 28th in batting average and 29th in ISO.
Those struggles should play well into Berrios who has been dominant at home this season, allowing just two earned runs over 20.2 innings. All three of Berrios' starts at home this season have seen him finish with at least 20 outs, which is why we are looking at his “Demon” projection today for an increased payout on his pitching outs projection this evening.
Reese Olson PrizePicks MLB Pick
One of the more surprising pitching performances to begin the season has to be that of Detroit Tigers righty Reese Olson, who through eight starts this season has a 2.09 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP. The downside? Well, he is 0-4 on the year despite his impressive pitching performances.
The lack of win equity is likely why his fantasy point projection is so low today. That’s what makes this an opportunity worth taking as Olson, despite having zero wins this season, has finished with more than 24.5 fantasy points in five of his last six starts.
Today he faces the Kansas City Royals, a team that he recently pitched against and held to just one run over seven innings while striking out a season-high eight. As long as Olson continues to limit the earned runs, he should pitch deep enough into this game and grab enough strikeouts to finish with more than the needed fantasy points here tonight.

Player News
Miguel Andujar hit a two-run homer and drove in three in a loss Friday to the Mets.
Andujar has his first homer of the season with a two-run shot off Griffin Canning. He also singled in a run in the second, so he’s up to six RBI over the first 14 games. He’s hit well for the most part with a .310/.356/.405 slash, but it’s nice to see some pop from Andujar. Just keep in mind that the A’s have several young bats in the minors who could usurp the 30-year-old if he struggles.
Pete Alonso went 3-for-3 with a homer and three RBI in a win over the Athletics on Friday.
Edwin Díaz gave up two runs but still was credited with a save against the Athletics on Friday.
JP Sears worked four innings and allowed three runs in a loss Friday to the Mets.
Griffin Canning gave up four runs on seven hits but still picked up a win Friday over the Athletics while working 5 1/3 innings.
William Contreras drove in a pair of runs in the Brewers’ blowout win over the DIamondbacks on Friday.
Contreras drove in a run with a sac fly in the fifth, and he drove in another with an infield single in the ninth. It’s nice to see some production from Contreras over the past couple games, as he’s hitting a disappointing — but not yet panic-inducing — .174/.304/.326.
