Published: Sep 04, 2022
Good morning FAmily! It's a holiday weekend as the summer is winding down across America and the last Sunday before the NFL takes center stage. So this is no better time to get your fill of major league baseball and we have a full MLB DFS slate on tap. FanDuel will both be carrying 10 games and locking at 12:10pm (COL/CIN game) ET, DraftKings locks at 1:35pm ET with nine games and Yahoo Fantasy does their normal thing and covers the entire day starting at 12:05pm. Max Fried, George Kirby and Carlos Carrasco will be the popular arms of today's slate while the Mets led by Pete Alonso and Starling Marte and Rafael Devers and the Red Sox are the top two offenses per Vegas implied runs. Make sure to check the MLB Weather Center because there are weather concerns across the entire slate, especially in Atlanta, Detroit and Cincinnati, MLB Vegas odds and the MLB Lineups page to get confirmed lineups for tonight. To get projections and to build multiple lineups we have MLB Projections and an MLB Lineup Generator plus check out the Fantasy Alarm MLB tools page. ---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
SP | Max Fried (L) | - | NYY @ TB Sun 1:40 | Shawn Armstrong | 10500 | 40.9% | 10300 | 28.4% |
The lefty Fried is in a dominant matchup against MIA who are striking out 27% to LHP over the last 15 days with a horrible team .124 ISO/.206wOBA. With a 2.85 FIP and 1.91 ERA/.088 WHIP Fried is the ace of the day - just need to monitor the weather closer to lock. Weather Issues Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: This game will be played indoors.
SP | Carlos Carrasco (R) | - | SEA @ CLE Sun 2:40 | George Kirby | 9100 | 14.1% | 9600 | 7.6% |
This is a great matchup for Cookie Carrasco who comes off the IL today. He is a huge -333 fav over the Nationals but will probably be on some sort of pitch limit since the hasn't started a live game in three weeks. Still may be safe enough for cash games. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: If they can start the game, that's a good sign. If they have an early delay it's not a great outlook for the rest of the day. It's possible the rain isn't heavy and they can play through light showers. However, if it strengthens then we could see a long delay.
SP | Frankie Montas (R) | - | WSH @ NYM Sun 1:40 | Erick Fedde | 8400 | 17.3% | 9000 | 6.6% |
I think this is the Cash pivot off of Fried now. He hasn't been great since coming to NYY but hasn't been horrible. He keeps the ball on the ground (45% GB rate) and still has a 24% strikeout rate on the season. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: The game should start and finish dry. However, there is a cell in the later innings that's worth monitoring. It could cause a delay but it's more likely they finish all nine innings. Temps in the mid 80's with light winds blowing out to center field.
SP | Nick Lodolo (L) | - | COL @ CIN Sun 12:10 | Germán Márquez | 9300 | 35.3% | 9700 | 14.2% |
This is now a FD-only play since DK has moved their slate to 1:35pm. Lodolo has had some rookie troubles but is going to be a star. He has a 27% K rate on the season but will have to navigate against a COL lineup that is projected to be mostly RH hitters- the side he has struggled with this year. I still consider Freid the top arm but if weather gets worse Lodolo could go as a cash play Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: The first game will likely start on time. However, there is rain in the forecast as the game carries on so we could see a later delay at worst. The second game is in question with similar weather concerns as the first game. It's more likely the weather impacts Game 2 heavier than Game 1. Temps in the mid 70's with light winds blowing in from center field.
SP | George Kirby (R) | - | SEA @ CLE Sun 2:40 | Cal Quantrill | 9900 | 9.4% | 9200 | 4.1% |
Over his last seven starts, Kirby has a 2.11 ERA/1.07 WHIP with a 10.6 K/9. He has three straight over 20 DKFP and over his last 9 he has allowed three or fewer runs and not one home run in 50 innings. CLE is always a tough matchup but have only scored one run over last four games. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: If they can start the game, that's a good sign. If they have an early delay it's not a great outlook for the rest of the day. It's possible the rain isn't heavy and they can play through light showers. However, if it strengthens then we could see a long delay.
SP | Lucas Giolito (R) | - | TEX @ BOS Sun 1:35 | Dane Dunning | 8600 | 5.0% | 8200 | 4.9% |
Gio has had a bad year but has the talent to nuke any slate due to his strikeout ability. His ERA is a bad 6.08 but a 3.70 SIERA/.368 BABIP shows that he's not as bad as his numbers show. Game Type: GPP Weather: Temps in the low 80's with a little more humidity than Baltimore. Very light winds (if any) will be blowing out to left-center field.
SP | Miles Mikolas (R) | - | CHI @ STL Sun 2:15 | Marcus Stroman | 8800 | 17.5% | 10000 | 9.0% |
With the weather issues, Mikolas comes into play and I am using him in some GPPs- he has been much better at home and that's where he gets the Cubs today- 5-2 with a 2.45 ERA/0.84 WHIP compared to road 5-8 with a 4.41 ERA/1.22 WHIP Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game with heavy weather concerns. Slow moving cell that could park over or near the stadium and provide some wet conditions. It's possible they try to play through it, but we'll need to keep an eye on this one.
SP | Matt Manning (R) | - | KC @ DET Sun 1:40 | Max Castillo | 7300 | 2.7% | 8500 | 2.3% |
Manning had a bad last outing but before that, he put up 23+ DKFP in three of four starts. He faces the Royals who are striking out 23.5% to RHP with a lowly team .287wOBA. Game Type: GPP Weather: Another game on Sunday's slate with rain in the forecast. It's a slower moving model (at least it's projected to be that way) that could provide a lengthy delay if the cell settles over the park. It's more likely they can get this game in than ATL/MIA.
C | Travis d'Arnaud (R) | - | HOU @ LAA Sun 4:07 | José Urquidy | 4100 | 0.7% | 2700 | 0.9% |
d'Arnaud is 5-for-12 lifetime with three bombs against Pablo Lopez plus is raking at the moment with a .312 BA and 5 HR/14 RBI with 172.6 wRC+ over his last 20 games. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps over ONE HUNDRED degrees in Southern California with winds blowing out. Big advantage to hitters in Orange County.
C | Adley Rutschman (B) | 2 | OAK @ BAL Sun 1:35 | Adrián MartÃnez | 5600 | 12.0% | 2800 | 7.4% |
The Orioles are facing a young A's RHP (Martinez) who was just called up. He throws a sinker 68% of the time to LHH, a pitch that Rutschman hits for a .493CXwOBA and 50% hard contact. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the high 80's with relative humidity and light winds blowing out to left center field. No rain in the forecast.
C | Yan Gomes (R) | - | CHI @ STL Sun 2:15 | Miles Mikolas | 2000 | 4.3% | 2000 | 1.5% |
If Gomes gets the start he is worth a dart since he is 4-for-12 career off of Mikolas and has hits in his last three starts. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game with heavy weather concerns. Slow moving cell that could park over or near the stadium and provide some wet conditions. It's possible they try to play through it, but we'll need to keep an eye on this one.
1B | Nathaniel Lowe (L) | - | WSH @ NYM Sun 1:40 | Carlos Carrasco | 3900 | 10.5% | 3800 | 9.8% |
Lowe is on an amazing run and DK just refuses to mess with his price. Over his last 20 games, he is hitting .429 with 7 HR/19 RBI with a .315 ISO/.432wOBA and get this-- a 2476.5wRC+!! Need I say more? lock Lowe into your cash lineup and move on. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: The game should start and finish dry. However, there is a cell in the later innings that's worth monitoring. It could cause a delay but it's more likely they finish all nine innings. Temps in the mid 80's with light winds blowing out to center field.
1B | Jose Miranda (R) | 3 | MIN @ CWS Sun 2:10 | Lucas Giolito | 3400 | 1.1% | 2800 | 1.6% |
RHH hit .328 against Giolito and Miranda just keeps hitting - .280 with a .458 OBP over the last week Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Could be some rain in the forecast. However, it'll be very light and they can play through it. Temps in the low 70's with moderate winds blowing in from left field.
1B | Daniel Vogelbach (L) | - | TOR @ PIT Sun 12:05 | JT Brubaker | 4100 | 4.3% | 2400 | 9.1% |
As a Met Vogelbach is slashing .256/.408/.488 with a .896 OPS against RHP and faces Fedde who gets hit hard by LHH (40% HC) with a 5.21xFIP Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Significant amount of rain in the forecast. There's a good chance it holds North of the stadium and just provides a light shower. A delay is possible so it's worth monitoring.
1B | Paul Goldschmidt (R) | - | NYY @ TB Sun 1:40 | Shawn Armstrong | 6400 | 5.3% | 4600 | 2.9% |
We can't leave 1B without mentioning Goldy and he has an eye-opening 7-for-15 with three HR BVP against Marcus Stroman. With a .330 season average and 34 HR/107 RBI Goldy is always in play but I will take the Lowe discount Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: This game will be played indoors.
2B | Jonathan India (R) | - | KC @ DET Sun 1:40 | Matt Manning | 5000 | 3300
India has the current longest MLB hit streak at 15 games with a .356/.411/.492 slash with five e extra-base hits, five RBIs and 11 runs scored during that time. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game on Sunday's slate with rain in the forecast. It's a slower moving model (at least it's projected to be that way) that could provide a lengthy delay if the cell settles over the park. It's more likely they can get this game in than ATL/MIA.
2B | Marcus Semien (R) | 1 | TEX @ BOS Sun 1:35 | Josh Winckowski | 4700 | 24.7% | 3600 | 20.5% |
Semien just joined the 20/20 club for the first time in his career and has much better splits on the road and that's where he will be today (Fenway)- his road slash is .290/.343/.506 with a .849 OPS compared to .197/.260/.330 with b.590 OPS at home Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the low 80's with a little more humidity than Baltimore. Very light winds (if any) will be blowing out to left-center field.
2B | Gunnar Henderson (L) | 5 | OAK @ BAL Sun 1:35 | Adrián MartÃnez | 3000 | 4.8% | 2600 | 2.8% |
Henderson has a hit in every contest since he was called up on Wednesday and is hitting .400 with a stolen base and home run. Great matchup today against a SP that was just called up by OAK (Martinez). Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the high 80's with relative humidity and light winds blowing out to left center field. No rain in the forecast.
2B | Nick Gordon (L) | - | MIA @ ATL Sun 1:35 | Max Fried | 2300 | 7.7% | 2900 | 2.4% |
Gordon is still the minimum price yet has 11 RBIs over his last three games. He is hitting .290 over the last 30 days with a.208 ISO and has been my default value as of late. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Looking pretty horrific in Cobb County on Sunday. Rain is in the forecast pretty much all day. Both teams have Monday off so this would be an easy game to re-schedule if they decided to postpone.
3B | Rafael Devers (L) | 4 | TEX @ BOS Sun 1:35 | Dane Dunning | 5800 | 24.6% | 4000 | 38.1% |
Devers is finally hitting again with multi-hit games in three straight and faces RH Dane Dunning who has a terrible 1.40 WHIP. He has a .272 ISO/.395wOBA with .299 BA on the split Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the low 80's with a little more humidity than Baltimore. Very light winds (if any) will be blowing out to left-center field.
3B | Austin Riley (R) | 3 | MIA @ ATL Sun 1:35 | Pablo López | 5600 | 6.8% | 4200 | 9.2% |
I will have Devers or Riley in early every lineup today unless I am stacking a team. Riley has home runs now in four straight games and six double-digit DKFP out of his last seven. He also is in on seven-game hit streak. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Looking pretty horrific in Cobb County on Sunday. Rain is in the forecast pretty much all day. Both teams have Monday off so this would be an easy game to re-schedule if they decided to postpone.
3B | Brendan Donovan (L) | 2 | CHI @ STL Sun 2:15 | Marcus Stroman | 2700 | 10.2% | 2400 | 13.3% |
Donovan has a .308 BA over his last 20 games and is now sub-$3K with the platoon advantage over Marcus Stroman. Game Type: GPP Weather: Another game with heavy weather concerns. Slow moving cell that could park over or near the stadium and provide some wet conditions. It's possible they try to play through it, but we'll need to keep an eye on this one.
3B | Eduardo Escobar (B) | - | TOR @ PIT Sun 12:05 | JT Brubaker | 3600 | 0.7% | 2400 | 3.0% |
Escobar is a streaky power hitter and has now gone yard in back to back games and is 5-for-14 over his last five games. Erik Fedde is not a good pitcher. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Significant amount of rain in the forecast. There's a good chance it holds North of the stadium and just provides a light shower. A delay is possible so it's worth monitoring.
SS | Xander Bogaerts (R) | - | SD @ LA Sun 7:08 | Caleb Ferguson | 5200 | 11.3% | 4000 | 6.8% |
Seven straight games with multi-hits for Bogaerts. It took a while but he is finally smashing- .347 with 14 RBIs and a .408wOBA/153.6wRC+ over his last 20 games. Plus an elite matchup against Dunning. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Similar to the game in Anaheim, it will be over 100 degrees in L.A. with winds blowing out. We could see an offensive showcase in the NL West this afternoon.
SS | Corey Seager (L) | 2 | TEX @ BOS Sun 1:35 | Josh Winckowski | 5400 | 21.2% | 4200 | 15.8% |
Seager gets a LvR matchup (Winckowski) so that means he is going to be a top play- .198 ISO/.339wOBA with 50% hard contact on the split- Iean Bogaerts but Seager is a close second in overall top shortstops today Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the low 80's with a little more humidity than Baltimore. Very light winds (if any) will be blowing out to left-center field.
SS | Elvis Andrus (R) | - | MIL @ ARI Sun 4:10 | Jason Alexander | 2500 | 4.8% | 2500 | 4.7% |
Over his last seven games, Andrus has gone 11-for-29 (.379) with a couple of bombs and seven RBIs and has settled right in as the CWS leadoff hitter. If you don't use Bogaerts/Seager then slide right down to the veteran Andrus. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: This game will be played indoors.
SS | Nico Hoerner (R) | 5 | CHI @ STL Sun 2:15 | Miles Mikolas | 3700 | 4.6% | 2700 | 0.8% |
This is one of the biggest BVP slates that I have seen in a while- Hoerner's price has dropped below $4K but he is in a solid matchup with Mikolas where he is 6-for-13 lifetime (.462) Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game with heavy weather concerns. Slow moving cell that could park over or near the stadium and provide some wet conditions. It's possible they try to play through it, but we'll need to keep an eye on this one.
RF | Aaron Judge (R) | 1 | NYY @ TB Sun 1:40 | Shawn Armstrong | 6500 | 14.5% | 4800 | 17.3% |
I don't care if he's $7K…Judge is worth it. He is the NYY offense right now and is coming off a 2-for-4 game with his 52nd home run and 114th RBI Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: This game will be played indoors.
CF | Cedric Mullins (L) | 1 | OAK @ BAL Sun 1:35 | Adrián MartÃnez | 5200 | 15.8% | 3100 | 18.6% |
Too cheap on FD as Mullins has a .295 BA over his last 20 games with a.231 ISO/.388wOBA and just hit his n13th home run last night. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the high 80's with relative humidity and light winds blowing out to left center field. No rain in the forecast.
CF | Michael Harris (L) | 6 | MIA @ ATL Sun 1:35 | Pablo López | 4300 | 3600
Love this kid. He is now on an 11-game hit streak where he is slashing .447/.523/.842 in that span and facing Pablo Lopez who is much worse against LHH like Harris than RHH (.323 wOBA allowed). Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Looking pretty horrific in Cobb County on Sunday. Rain is in the forecast pretty much all day. Both teams have Monday off so this would be an easy game to re-schedule if they decided to postpone.
CF | Riley Greene (L) | 1 | KC @ DET Sun 1:40 | Max Castillo | 3500 | 9.2% | 3400 | 6.6% |
Don't look now but top Tigers prospect Riley Greene is on a 12-game hit streak with a .408/.473/.653 slash and is hitting .422 over his last 11 games with a couple;e of home runs Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game on Sunday's slate with rain in the forecast. It's a slower moving model (at least it's projected to be that way) that could provide a lengthy delay if the cell settles over the park. It's more likely they can get this game in than ATL/MIA.
RF | Gavin Sheets (L) | 5 | MIN @ CWS Sun 2:10 | Dylan Bundy | 2600 | 18.3% | 3300 | 2.9% |
More of a gut call but I really like Sheets today against Dylan Bundy. It s a LvR matchup and Sheets has hit RH pitching all season plus has a .361 average over his last 20 games. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Could be some rain in the forecast. However, it'll be very light and they can play through it. Temps in the low 70's with moderate winds blowing in from left field.
RF | Jake Fraley (L) | 2 | COL @ CIN Sun 12:10 | Germán Márquez | 3100 | 3000
Fraley has a doubleheader and both games are against RHP - he has crushed the platoon this season- .273 ISO/.383wOBA with 40.5% hard contact. He also is slashing .286/.386/.600 over his last 21 games with a .986 OPS Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: The first game will likely start on time. However, there is rain in the forecast as the game carries on so we could see a later delay at worst. The second game is in question with similar weather concerns as the first game. It's more likely the weather impacts Game 2 heavier than Game 1. Temps in the mid 70's with light winds blowing in from center field.
RF | Lars Nootbaar (L) | 1 | CHI @ STL Sun 2:15 | Marcus Stroman | 3100 | 12.2% | 3400 | 4.2% |
Fraley and Nootbaar are both DK misprices. Over his last 40 games, Nootbaar is slashing .290/.416/.595 with a 1.011 OPS- elite numbers and this guy is only $3.1K on DK? Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game with heavy weather concerns. Slow moving cell that could park over or near the stadium and provide some wet conditions. It's possible they try to play through it, but we'll need to keep an eye on this one. |
SP | Max Fried (L), SP | - | NYY @ TB Sun 1:40 | Shawn Armstrong | 10500 | 10300

1B | - | WSH @ NYM Sun 1:40 | Carlos Carrasco | 3900 | 3800
1B | Jose Miranda (R), 1B | 3 | MIN @ CWS Sun 2:10 | Lucas Giolito | 3400 | 2800
1B | - | TOR @ PIT Sun 12:05 | JT Brubaker | 4100 | 2400
As a Met Vogelbach is slashing .256/.408/.488 with a .896 OPS against RHP and faces Fedde who gets hit hard by LHH (40% HC) with a 5.21xFIP Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Significant amount of rain in the forecast. There's a good chance it holds North of the stadium and just provides a light shower. A delay is possible so it's worth monitoring.
1B | - | NYY @ TB Sun 1:40 | Shawn Armstrong | 6400 | 4600
We can't leave 1B without mentioning Goldy and he has an eye-opening 7-for-15 with three HR BVP against Marcus Stroman. With a .330 season average and 34 HR/107 RBI Goldy is always in play but I will take the Lowe discount Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: This game will be played indoors.
2B | - | KC @ DET Sun 1:40 | Matt Manning | 5000 | 3300
India has the current longest MLB hit streak at 15 games with a .356/.411/.492 slash with five e extra-base hits, five RBIs and 11 runs scored during that time. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game on Sunday's slate with rain in the forecast. It's a slower moving model (at least it's projected to be that way) that could provide a lengthy delay if the cell settles over the park. It's more likely they can get this game in than ATL/MIA.
2B | 1 | TEX @ BOS Sun 1:35 | Josh Winckowski | 4700 | 3600
Semien just joined the 20/20 club for the first time in his career and has much better splits on the road and that's where he will be today (Fenway)- his road slash is .290/.343/.506 with a .849 OPS compared to .197/.260/.330 with b.590 OPS at home Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the low 80's with a little more humidity than Baltimore. Very light winds (if any) will be blowing out to left-center field.
2B | 5 | OAK @ BAL Sun 1:35 | Adrián MartÃnez | 3000 | 2600
Henderson has a hit in every contest since he was called up on Wednesday and is hitting .400 with a stolen base and home run. Great matchup today against a SP that was just called up by OAK (Martinez). Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the high 80's with relative humidity and light winds blowing out to left center field. No rain in the forecast.
2B | Nick Gordon (L), 2B | - | MIA @ ATL Sun 1:35 | Max Fried | 2300 | 2900
Gordon is still the minimum price yet has 11 RBIs over his last three games. He is hitting .290 over the last 30 days with a.208 ISO and has been my default value as of late. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Looking pretty horrific in Cobb County on Sunday. Rain is in the forecast pretty much all day. Both teams have Monday off so this would be an easy game to re-schedule if they decided to postpone.
3B | 4 | TEX @ BOS Sun 1:35 | Dane Dunning | 5800 | 4000
Devers is finally hitting again with multi-hit games in three straight and faces RH Dane Dunning who has a terrible 1.40 WHIP. He has a .272 ISO/.395wOBA with .299 BA on the split Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the low 80's with a little more humidity than Baltimore. Very light winds (if any) will be blowing out to left-center field.
3B | Austin Riley (R), 3B | 3 | MIA @ ATL Sun 1:35 | Pablo López | 5600 | 4200
I will have Devers or Riley in early every lineup today unless I am stacking a team. Riley has home runs now in four straight games and six double-digit DKFP out of his last seven. He also is in on seven-game hit streak. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Looking pretty horrific in Cobb County on Sunday. Rain is in the forecast pretty much all day. Both teams have Monday off so this would be an easy game to re-schedule if they decided to postpone.
3B | 2 | CHI @ STL Sun 2:15 | Marcus Stroman | 2700 | 2400
Donovan has a .308 BA over his last 20 games and is now sub-$3K with the platoon advantage over Marcus Stroman. Game Type: GPP Weather: Another game with heavy weather concerns. Slow moving cell that could park over or near the stadium and provide some wet conditions. It's possible they try to play through it, but we'll need to keep an eye on this one.
3B | - | TOR @ PIT Sun 12:05 | JT Brubaker | 3600 | 2400
Escobar is a streaky power hitter and has now gone yard in back to back games and is 5-for-14 over his last five games. Erik Fedde is not a good pitcher. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Significant amount of rain in the forecast. There's a good chance it holds North of the stadium and just provides a light shower. A delay is possible so it's worth monitoring.
SS | - | SD @ LA Sun 7:08 | Caleb Ferguson | 5200 | 4000
Seven straight games with multi-hits for Bogaerts. It took a while but he is finally smashing- .347 with 14 RBIs and a .408wOBA/153.6wRC+ over his last 20 games. Plus an elite matchup against Dunning. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Similar to the game in Anaheim, it will be over 100 degrees in L.A. with winds blowing out. We could see an offensive showcase in the NL West this afternoon.
SS | Corey Seager (L), SS | 2 | TEX @ BOS Sun 1:35 | Josh Winckowski | 5400 | 4200
SS | Elvis Andrus (R), SS | - | MIL @ ARI Sun 4:10 | Jason Alexander | 2500 | 2500
SS | Nico Hoerner (R), SS | 5 | CHI @ STL Sun 2:15 | Miles Mikolas | 3700 | 2700
RF | Aaron Judge (R), RF | 1 | NYY @ TB Sun 1:40 | Shawn Armstrong | 6500 | 4800
I don't care if he's $7K…Judge is worth it. He is the NYY offense right now and is coming off a 2-for-4 game with his 52nd home run and 114th RBI Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: This game will be played indoors.
CF | 1 | OAK @ BAL Sun 1:35 | Adrián MartÃnez | 5200 | 3100
Too cheap on FD as Mullins has a .295 BA over his last 20 games with a.231 ISO/.388wOBA and just hit his n13th home run last night. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Temps in the high 80's with relative humidity and light winds blowing out to left center field. No rain in the forecast.
CF | 6 | MIA @ ATL Sun 1:35 | Pablo López | 4300 | 3600
Love this kid. He is now on an 11-game hit streak where he is slashing .447/.523/.842 in that span and facing Pablo Lopez who is much worse against LHH like Harris than RHH (.323 wOBA allowed). Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Looking pretty horrific in Cobb County on Sunday. Rain is in the forecast pretty much all day. Both teams have Monday off so this would be an easy game to re-schedule if they decided to postpone.
CF | Riley Greene (L), CF | 1 | KC @ DET Sun 1:40 | Max Castillo | 3500 | 3400
Don't look now but top Tigers prospect Riley Greene is on a 12-game hit streak with a .408/.473/.653 slash and is hitting .422 over his last 11 games with a couple;e of home runs Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game on Sunday's slate with rain in the forecast. It's a slower moving model (at least it's projected to be that way) that could provide a lengthy delay if the cell settles over the park. It's more likely they can get this game in than ATL/MIA.
RF | Gavin Sheets (L), RF | 5 | MIN @ CWS Sun 2:10 | Dylan Bundy | 2600 | 3300
More of a gut call but I really like Sheets today against Dylan Bundy. It s a LvR matchup and Sheets has hit RH pitching all season plus has a .361 average over his last 20 games. Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Could be some rain in the forecast. However, it'll be very light and they can play through it. Temps in the low 70's with moderate winds blowing in from left field.
RF | Jake Fraley (L), RF | 2 | COL @ CIN Sun 12:10 | Germán Márquez | 3100 | 3000
RF | 1 | CHI @ STL Sun 2:15 | Marcus Stroman | 3100 | 3400
Fraley and Nootbaar are both DK misprices. Over his last 40 games, Nootbaar is slashing .290/.416/.595 with a 1.011 OPS- elite numbers and this guy is only $3.1K on DK? Game Type: CASH & GPP Weather: Another game with heavy weather concerns. Slow moving cell that could park over or near the stadium and provide some wet conditions. It's possible they try to play through it, but we'll need to keep an eye on this one. |
