Best Odds For A Win

  • Zack Wheeler vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
  • Jack Flaherty vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
  • Robbie Ray vs. Detroit Tigers
  • Jameson Taillon vs. Chicago White Sox
  • Jose Berrios vs. Oakland Atheltics

Core MLB DFS Pitchers

Robbie Ray, San Francisco Giants

Yes, Ray is my top pitcher here today. The strikeouts have been pretty elite since he has made his debut for the Giants and while the last two starts have seen him give up more home runs than we would have liked, I do think he will benefit here against a weaker Tigers lineup in a good pitchers ballpark.

On both DraftKings and FanDuel he is a very reasonable price tag.

Jack Flaherty, Los Angeles Dodogers

A ton of win equity here for Flaherty in this matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is the most expensive pitcher on the board and that may actually keep the rostership down on him today as the mid-tier is fairly strong and most will be looking to pay up for expensive bats.

Jameson Taillon, Chicago Cubs

We get Taillon taking on a weak White Sox lineup and coming off of a start against a tough Cardinals team which saw him limit them to one run over six innings while striking out four. With the Cubs favored here today the win equity is better for Taillon than it has been in recent starts where he has pitched well but had missed out on the win bonus.

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters

Highest Expected Run Totals

  • Atlanta Braves vs. Tanner Gordon
  • Colorado Rockies vs. Grant Holmes
  • Boston Red Sox vs. Ronel Blanco
  • Kansas City Royals vs. Miles Mikolas

Core MLB DFS Hitters

Bobby Witt Jr., SS Kansas City Royals

I mean, cover the playbook so you knew he was going to be front and center here. Witt is hitting .405 with an OPS of 1.233 over the last 10 games. He has 14 runs, four homers, 13 RBI and two stolen bases during that stretch. Today he steps into the box against Cardinals righty Miles Mikolas who has an ERA nearing 5.00 over his last 10 starts.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B Toronto Blue Jays

Maybe the only man hotter than Bobby Witt Jr. over the last month has been Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as the Blue Jays mighty first basemen is hitting .541 with 11 runs, four home runs and 12 RBI over the last 10 games with an OPS of 1.757.

He faces A's righty Mitch Spence who has a 4.40 xFIP against right-handed hitters this season.

Wilyer Abreu, OF Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox have one of the highest team implied run totals today as they head back to Boston after a successful road trip. A successful one especially for Wilyer Abreu who is hitting .323 with four homers and 10 RBI over the last 10 games. All Red Sox lefties are going to be in play today against Ronel Blanco.

Jackson Merrill, OF San Diego Padres

Honestly, the outfield position is loaded with mid-tier talent today and Merrill is just another hot bat in a great spot as he draws a matchup against the unpredictable Edward Cabrera. Merrill himself is hitting .333 with three homers and an OPS of 1.036 over his last 10 games.

Jackson Chourio, OF Milwaukee Brewers

Yep, another solid outfielder at a great price. Chourio has been unreal, coming off of his first career two-homer game, he is hitting .391 with four homers and three stolen bases over his last 10 contests.

The #2 prospect in baseball is looking just as good as the #1 prospect in Jackson Holliday right now.

The future is very bright in the MLB.

San Francisco Giants

I'm just going to write up a full team here because I really like the Giants lineup tonight as they are slated to go up against Tigers righty Kenta Maeda.  Whether it be Lamonte Wade, Michael Conforto, Mike Yastrezmski as value plays or Matt Chapman and Tyler Fitzgerald as spend up.

Maeda has a 15.7% HR/FB rate while allowing 2.7 HR/9 this year with a 6.75 ERA.
