Week 15 is the second week of the fantasy playoffs for most folks. That being the case waiver-wire additions are this point of the season are simply crucial. Ray Flowers discusses the moves you should make as you try to advance past the semi-finals in fantasy football.

QUARTERBACK

Teddy Bridgewater, Vikings
J-e-t-s. That's the reason Bridgewater threw for 309 yards and two scores in Week 14. That effort, against the Jets putrid pass defense, was the first time in four games that Teddy B. has thrown for 215 yards. On the plus side he's thrown for two scores in 3-straight games, but on the downside he's Teddy Bridgewater and he faces a stout Lions defense in Week 15.
Amount to Spend: 15-20 percent

Robert Griffin III, Redskins
Colt McCoy predictably regressed in Week 14. He also hurt his neck and it sounds like the club might be forced to turn back to RGIII in Week 15 against the Giants. The Giants don't exactly standout against the pass, they allow the 10th most points a week in fantasy to the position, so RGIII would be a moderate play based on the matchup. However, he's struggled with pretty much all aspects of the game this season, DeSean Jackson may or may not play, and the entire organization seems to be in a free-fall. Even if RGIII returns to action he nothing more than a QB2 in Week 15.
Amount to Spend: 15-20 percent

Jake Locker, Titans
Zach Mettenberger was forced from the Titans' Week 14 game against the Giants after re-injuring his  shoulder and it seems likely that he will be shut down for the rest of the season as the Titans have nothing left to play for. That means Jake Locker will most likely close out the regular season as the starter. Justin Hunter (spleen) is done for the year and Kendall Wright (hand) wasn't active in Week 14. Hard to think Locker will have much success without that duo to throw the ball to. Over six outings this season Locker has a 59 percent completion percentage, has thrown just five scores and turned the ball over eight times (seven interceptions). Just nothing to see here. He would be a desperation play in Week 15, even in a 2QB league.
Amount to Spend: 7-12 percent

Cam Newton, Panthers
I told you. Repeatedly. I even recorded a video saying to start Newton (See the Week 14 NFL Preview - and check out the great screen capture of Jeff Mans). Did you listen? Newton busted loose for his best effort of the season - a Week 14 performance that vaulted teams into the second week of the fantasy playoffs. Newton threw for 226 yards and three scores. That alone was a big day. Toss in 12 carries for 83 yards on the ground and it becomes a huge effort. Add in a rushing score and it was a transformative effort. He's always capable of efforts like this, they just haven't happened enough this season is all.
Amount to Spend: 75-80 percent

RUNNING BACK

Toby Gerhart, Jaguars
Denard Robinson has hit the wall, or more appropriately, the wall has smacked him in the face, and it hurts. Robinson saw three targets but didn't catch a pass in Week 14. As a runner he ran for 30 yards on 10 carries. That's 6-straight games now in which his carry total has regressed. He's pretty well done averaging 40 rushing yards the last four games, and he's still having some struggles with blitz pickups. Gerhart isn't going to be startable in his own right unless Robinson is benched completely or is hurt, so you can pretty much overlook the 19 rushing yards and two receptions Gerhart had in Week 14 - that's likely what you will see from him moving forward.
Amount to Spend: 5-10 percent

Bernard Pierce/Lorenzo Taliaferro, Ravens
Justin Forsett has a knee issue and it limited him to 13 carries in Week 14. At the same time, Forsett still gained 71 yards and that included a nice run of 44 yards in the 4th quarter. He's very likely to see more touches in Week 15 with another week to heal. That said, whichever Ravens back you're adding is nothing more than a handcuff that could be serviceable at best in Week 16. Would you really play Pierce or Taliaferro in championship week? I wouldn't. For the record, Piece seems to have fallen behind Taliaferro yet again. Pierce carried the ball three times for 50 yards while Taliaferro ran the ball seven times for 35 yards while catching a pass for 20 more yards.
Amount to Spend on Pierce: 6-12 percent
Amount to Spend on Taliaferro: 5-10 percent

Stepfan Taylor, Marion Grice, Kerwynn Williams, Cardinals
Andre Ellington is done for the year. His body is broken (he's officially done with a sports hernia). Grice carried the ball three times for six yards. Taylor carried the ball six times for 19 yards. Williams carried the ball 19 times for 100 yards. Seven days ago we thought it was gonna be Grice. Three days ago we thought Taylor. As of Monday we now think it's Williams. Kerwynn is a 7th round selection from the 2013 Draft who stands 5'8" and weighs 198 lbs. Oh yeah, he never had an NFL carry through 30 NFL weeks before this effort (he was activated off the practice squad last week). He is on a messed up offense that faces the Rams in Week 15. You comfortable with that? I certainly wouldn't be.
Amount to Spend on Taylor: 6-12 percent
Amount to Spend on Grice: 7-14 percent
Amount to Spend on Williams: 30-35 percent

Jonathan Stewart, Panthers
If DeAngelo Williams returns from his finger issue in Week 15 you know the lame-ass Panthers will end up splitting the carries between him and JStew. It's what they always do.  In Week 14 Stewart reminded everyone why so many in football were so excited about his talent. Stewart gashed the Saints for 155 yards on 20 carries and that included a 69 yard TD run (a career long). He showed power, patience and shiftiness in the open field in an extremely impressive effort in which the Saints simply couldn't stop him. The Bucs away the Panthers in Week 15 so Stewart would be an RB2 option if Williams were to sit out yet again. If only DWill can miss a few more games.
Amount to Spend: 55-60 percent

Andre Williams, Giants
Rashad Jennings was supposed to be OK. Turns out his ankle wasn't anywhere near 100 percent so Williams not only started against the pathetic Titans, he also dominated on his way to 131 yards an a touchdown on 24 carries (Jennings touched the ball just two times for five yards on the ground while catching one pass for 17 yards). Williams had just 27 yards on 10 carries in the first half before he busted loose for a 50 yard touchdown run to push his yardage total up. Williams has looked extremely middling for most of the year and the matchup with the Redskins in Week 15 doesn't look good on paper. Be careful with Williams as Jennings could easily see a significant workload increase next season.
Amount to Spend: 35-40 percent

WIDE RECEIVER

Kamar Aiken, Ravens
Torrey Smith has a knee issue and it hampered him severely in Week 15 as he didn't see a single target (in retrospect he should have been scratched). As bad as that effort was, there has been little coming out of Baltimore to suggest that Smith won't be much more involved in Week 15. That means chasing Aiken, in a very moderate passing offense, is a fool's errand. Aiken caught six of seven targets for 65 yards and a score in Week 14, and he's hit 50-yards in back-to-back outings, but he's also failed to hit 25 yards in seven of nine outings and caught just 12 balls in eight games prior to Week 15. Aiken is only worth a look if Smith goes down.
Amount to Spend: 5-10 percent

Martavis Bryant, Steelers
A perpetual tease, Bryant is the epitome of the high school prom queen who convinces the dorkiest guy in school to do her homework. Bryant had three grabs for 15 yards until late in the game in Week 14 when he busted loose for a 94 yard score from Ben Roethlisberger. Bryant is what he is. He gets in the end zone and you're pumped. If he doesn't get in the end zone he's a massive disappointment. If you're comfortable playing that in the fantasy playoffs, have at it. Just note that over the last three games he has one score and in two of the games he failed to reach 25 yards.
Amount to Spend: 30-35 percent

Derek Hagan, Titans
Justin Hunter is done for the year. Kendall Wright was inactive with a hand issue in Week 14. Into the void emerged Hagan who caught six balls for 62 yards. Don't be swayed. Hagan entered the game with eight grabs for 129 yards an a score, and as a 10 year vet, we know what he is, and that is not good.
Amount to Spend: 10-15 percent

Charles Johnson, Vikings
Wrote about him last week. Did you listen? Johnson is the Viking wideout to own. He's also totally rendered Cordarrelle Patterson useless as he's asserted himself the past few weeks. Johnson went for four catches, 103 yards an a score in Week 14 on eight targets. The Vikes won't be facing the Jets any more, shoot, but Johnson should continue to see as much work as any wideout on this team and will be in the WR3 conversation in Week 15.
Amount to Spend: 25-30 percent

Josh Morgan / Marquess Wilson, Bears
Brandon Marshall (lung/ribs) is done for the year, so Wilson will become the #2 wideout in the Bears offense. Wilson stands 6'4" and can run really fast (advanced scouting report right there). Given the way the offense runs, and the fact that the club will be looking to replace 10 targets a week with Marshall down, Wilson becomes a very intriguing WR3 option right off the hop in fantasy. Of course, he could also go the way of a Justin Hunter, so being cautious with Wilson is advisable. Josh Morgan will fill the Bears WR3 spot on the field.
Amount to Spend on Morgan: 10-15 percent
Amount to Spend on Wilson: 30-35 percent

Jarius Wright, Vikings
It's the Jets folks - the club that the Vikes played in Week 14. That's the first thing you need to note about Wright's four catch, 123 yard, one score effort in Week 14. The score was in overtime, a screen pass that went 87 yards to the house, so through four quarters of football he had three catches for 36 yards. In his previous three games Wright had two catches for 40 yards. Thank you, drive through.
Amount to Spend: 10-12 percent

TIGHT END

Scott Chandler, Bills
He saw 11 targets. He caught eight passes. He went for 81 yards. Hell of an effort. Come on now though. Really? Over the previous six games he had not caught more than three pass or hit 40 yards. Totally incapable of repeating this effort against the Packers in Week 15. Move on.
Amount to Spend: 8-15 percent

Jared Cook, Rams
He scored twice. That's all anyone is going to be talking about after this effort. Here's what you should know though. (1) Those two scores were his first in four games. (2) Cook has scored three times all season. (3) Cook had four grabs for 61 yards in Week 14. His previous three games he caught six balls for 53 yards. If not for Stedman Bailey being tackled at the one yard line allowing Cook to get in the end zone for one of his two scores, no one would be looking at Cook. Don't look at Cook.
Amount to Spend: 5-10 percent

Jordan Cameron, Browns
After missing nearly a third of the year with concussion related woes, Cameron finally got back out on the field to catch four balls for 41 yards. That's kind of the floor for Cameron, one would think, but the offense is totally unpredictable right now (i.e. bad). He should see plenty of work with wideout Josh Gordon drawing so many looks.
Amount to Spend: 50-60 percent
