Make sure to check out Jeff Mans’ Week 5 Game Recaps.

C.J. Anderson had 38 snaps Sunday, just 11 more than Devontae Booker as Booker appears to be gaining as a pass catching back.

Kenjon Barner and Wendell Smallwood didn't touch the football in Week 5 with Ryan Mathews back and healthy. Smallwood saw one snap. One. Mathews scored but did fumble late. Still, Smallwood’s outlook is very small right now. #SeeWhatIDidThere

Martellus Bennett became the third Patriot in 20 years to score three times: Rob Gronkowski (three times), Randy Moss (four times). Rob Gronkowski out snapped Bennett 66 to 54 in the game. Bennett has failed to reach 15 yards in two games this season. Here is some audio talking about Bennett from SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio.

Sam Bradford threw 30 more passes and has now tossed 125 without a pick to begin his Vikings career.

Tom Brady returned to action and threw for more than 400 yards with three scores to become just the second QB over 39 years of age since 1970 to hit both those marks (Warren Moon). Some things never change. Brady was 8-for-12 for 236 yards and a touchdown on passes that were in the air for 10 or more yards.

Did Sammie Coates go for 6-139-2 and drop four passes in one of the most brutally inefficient, high level fantasy efforts we've seen in years? I believe so. #ExtremeHighsAndLows

Isaiah Crowell earned 86 percent of his yards after contact in Week 5. Of course, that meant he ran for 19 yards after contact since he carried the ball 13 times for 22 yards. Crowell is still averaging 83.2 yards a game on the ground, a total he has reached in two of five games this season.

Julian Edelman led the Patriots in targets with 10 in Week 5. He only caught five of the passes though and produced just 35 yards, the fifth most on the Pats.

Ezekiel Elliott ran for 134 yards on just 15 carries in Week 5. Can you believe that 104 of those yards came after contact? That’s the second most this season by any player in football. Moreover, Elliott has run for the 5th most yards of any player in his first five games. Elliott has run for 546 yards on the ground, nearly 100-yards behind Eric Dickerson (645).

Devonta Freeman saw 13 more snaps than Tevin Coleman, 39-to-26. #TheSplitContinues

Alshon Jeffery saw six targets in Week 5. That was half as many as Cameron Meredith (12) and fewer than Eddie Royal (nine) and Zach Miller (eight). Cameron Meredith had one more snap than Alshon Jeffery (62-to-61). Eddie Royal saw only 38 snaps.

Big-3 Video: Brian Hoyer impresses, Melvin Gordon keeps scoring and T.Y. Hilton is streaking.

Melvin Gordon fumbled in Week 5, the second game in a row in which he has done that. #ConcernLevelGrowing

Todd Gurley has scored three times in three games. He’s carried the ball at least 17 times each games this season. He’s also turned into a pass catcher the last two weeks. After seeing six targets the first three times out Gurley has seen five targets each of the last two games catching eight passes in total. Catching passes would be a massive boost to Gurley’s outlook given that his two tackles - Rob Havenstein and Greg Robinson – rank 64th and 70th amongst 73 qualified tackles in run blocking at Pro Football Focus. All five starters on the line are below average at this point and Lance Kendricks is last of the 58 tight ends behind tracked in run blocking. Gurley forced eight missed tackles last week and is ranked 8th in Elusive Rating at PFF.

T.Y. Hilton caught 10 of 11 passes in Week 5. He’s now scored in 3-straight games, this after going seven in a row without getting into the end zone.

Jordan Howard went for 100-yards in a second straight game. Of the 118 yards posted in Week 5 on the ground by Howard 105 of them came on runs between the tackles. He also broke seven tackles on 16 carries.

Jeremy Kerley has caught 14 passes for 190 yards and two scores the last two games (his Week 5 effort earned the highest grade by a Niners wideout since 2013 according to Pro Football Focus). He had 12 catches for 114 yards the first three games with the Niners.

Jarvis Landry had seen 10-targets in eight consecutive games. He saw all of three in Week 5, his lowest total since Week 8 of the 2014 season. #DontWorryHeWillBeFine

Paxton Lynch was uneven in his first NFL starts. On the 20 passes in which he got rid of the ball in less than 2.5 seconds he hit 16 leading to a 112.3 QB Rating. When he held the ball longer than 2.5 seconds his QB Rating was just 39.0 as he hit just 7-of-14 passes.

LeSean McCoy carried the ball 18 times for 150-yards against the Rams. He forced five missed tackles against a good defense. #AlwaysGood

Daily Dive Video: Eli Manning struggling, C.J. Anderson loosing touches and Jarvis Landry will be just fine.

DeMarco Murray forced 13 missed tackles in Week 5 in a massively impressive performance. He sought out contact, and thrived with it. The Titans found massive success running to the right side of the line generating 155 of their 191 yards.

Jordy Nelson has scored five times in four games including one each contest. He’s also failed to reach 40-yards twice in four games and his 61.0 yards per game mark would be his lowest mark since 2010. #AsGoodAsYouThink?

Bilal Powell caught six passes in Week 5. That's the third game in a row in which he's caught at least six passes.

Dak Prescott has run for three scores but he will lose his starting job to Tony Romo when the vet is healthy. Prescott is the first quarterback with three rushing scores since Danny White had four in 1983. #ImpressiveRookiePlay

Raiders running back update from Week 5: DeAndre Washington (14 touches), Jalen Richard (14), Jamize Olawale (seven). Here are the snap counts of the three men, and it’s ugly folks as Latavius Murray was out of action with a toe issue: Washington 37, Richards 23 and Olawale 22. The trio of runners forced one missed tackle on 23 carries.

Aaron Rodgers is jacked up. Something ain’t right. In 2013 the mark was 8.7. In 2014 the mark was 8.4. For his career the mark is 7.9. Last season his yards per attempt mark was 6.7. This season the mark is 6.3. Over seven of his last nine starts he has failed to posted a yards per attempt mark of 6.0. Moreover, Over his last 20 starts Rodgers has thrown for 40 scores with just 11 picks, that’s great. However, in that same time he’s completed just 59.8 percent of his passes at 234.9 yards per contest. Compare that to Brock Osweiler who has completed 58.0 percent of his passes for 236 yards a game this season. Read that again if you’re a Rodgers owner. #TimeToGetNervous

Ben Roethlisberger has thrown for three scores in 6-straight games at home tying the NFL record set by Peyton Manning (three times) and Drew Brees (two times). Big Ben has thrown 13 touchdown passes in five games, the most in Steelers history.
