Jay Ajayi forced seven missed tackles on just 12 carries in Week 13. That’s remarkable. Why he wasn’t used more is rather mysterious as it was pretty clear that the Dolphins weren’t going to be able to come back to defeat the Ravens (they lost 38-to-6). Why not do what is working Dolphins with your quarterback devolving before our eyes? Oh, by the way, prior to the start on Sunday Night Football, no back in football had broke more than his seven broken tackles in Week 13 yet 18 running backs had carried the ball more than Ajayi. #GreatCoaching

Joshua Bellamy may be the #1 wideout with the Bears if Marquess Wilson is forced to miss time with a groin issue. I can’t believe I just wrote that. It’s also hopefully not true. Even though Bellamy caught four balls for 93 yards in Week 13 he dropped a touchdown... for the second consecutive game. #JustAwful

Blake Bortles, Drew Brees, Colin Kaepernick, Tyrod Taylor, Matt Barkley and Paxton Lynch combined to throw fewer touchdown passes than Jared Goff. The Rams’ rookie threw for one score by the way. #Ouch

Derek Carr became the first quarterback in league history with five game winning passes in the 4th quarter or overtime in a single season. He threw for 260/2 in Week 13, his third straight outing with at least both of those two numbers. By the way, the Raiders scored 29 unanswered points in the win... in a span 11 minutes and 43 seconds.

Jamison Crowder scored again for the Redskins even though he stands 5’8” and weighs 182 lbs. He caught three balls for 32 yards against the Redskins though all folks will focus on is the fact that he’s scored four times in five games. What I see is a guy walking the tightrope at the moment. Crowder has caught three, three and four passes in three of the last four games, and in two of those games he hasn’t reached 45-yards. Note that Crowder has caught three or fewer passes in 2-of-3 games and 5-of-9. #BeCareful

Mike Evans caught three balls for 38 yards as he saw a season low six targets. Evans saw six targets in this one, his lowest total of the year. Seven times this season Evans has caught at least six passes.

Joe Flacco threw for 381 yards and four scores in a huge effort. No wideout had 60-yards though as Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman and Steve Smith all had between 52 and 59 yards. You want consistency? Wallace has been between 57 and 62 yards each of the last four games after hauling in six balls for 59 yards against the Dolphins. He hasn’t scored a touchdown in those four outings. #ConsistentlyDecent

Tis the season for Coby Fleener to do something (five grabs for 86 yards) while causing you to turn your eyes away (two drops). #JustHowItIs

Devonta Freeman ran 16 times for 60 yards and two scores last week. This week he carried the ball 15 times for 56 yards and two scores. He’s only for 65-yards once in seven games, but he just keeps getting into the end zone with six scores in those seven outings.

Pierre Garcon isn’t of much use in non-ppr leagues with two scores this season and just one game of 90-yards, but he’s been quite the PPR option the last months as a WR3. Garcon caught eight balls for 84 yards in Week 13, the fourth time in five outings in which he’s caught at least six passes. In those five games here is his average effort: six receptions, 78 yards with just one total score. Who wouldn’t take 14 points a week from their WR3 in a ppr setup?

Mike Gillislee scored twice in Week 14 and now has four scores in four games and six in seven. He typically touches the ball 5-8 times on the ground, but the guy is just making it happen with end zone boogies. How do you start him though, given that he’s only had as many as nine carries twice all season? #BigTimeRiskReward

Melvin Gordon is the first player in league history to run for 10 scores a season after they failed to score even once (minimum 100 chances). It’s been a truly remarkable turnaround for the mid-level pick in fantasy this season who has exploded leading his teams to the fantasy playoffs.

Ladarius Green went off for six receptions, 110 yards and a score Sunday. I honestly don’t care.  The guy is the biggest tease this side of a stripper Saturday night at your favorite ladies club (don’t act like you don’t have a favorite spot). He wasn’t really covered on the touchdown, and on multiple plays seemed to simply be running free as the Giants sold out to slow down Antonio Brown. Green has all the tools in the world, but he’s also caught just 88 passes for eight touchdowns in 51 career game. He also failed to see even half the snaps for the Steelers Sunday. #DontChasePoints

Todd Gurley produced 45.9 percent of his yards last season on breakaway runs of over 15-yards. This season just 15.8 percent of his yards have come on that type of long run. #Yikes

Jeremy Hill has touched the ball 43 times in the two games since Gio Bernard went down with a knee injury with 25 of those touches coming in Week 13. It’s remarkable that Hill, who scored on the ground, was able to produce just 45 yards of offense against the Eagles. That’s right. He caught two balls for 12 yards while running the ball 23 times for 33 yards. I didn’t even know that was possible. That’s four consecutive outings for Hill in which he’s been unable to record 65 yards, this despite averaging 16.5 carries an outing. #NotDoingMuchOtherThanScoringTouchdowns

Jordan Howard ran for three scores against the worst run D ever, that of the SF 49ers. In a game driven by horrible conditions in the snow, Howard just kept on churning his legs and run after run, 32 of them (a career-high), on his way to 117 yards and those three scores. That’s five straight games of at least 15 carries and 77 yards for Howard who, over that five game run, is averaging 106 rushing yards on 21.6 carries. #BeastMode2

Ho hum, another 100-yard from scrimmage effort by David Johnson (18-84-1 on the ground and 9-91 as a pass catcher). The only longer stretch to begin an NFL season was 13-straight by Edgerrin James in 20005. By the by, Johnson became the first player in Cardinals team history with two seasons of 13 touchdowns. The Cards have been an organization since 1920.

Colin Kaepernick is a confused human being. He was also totally befuddled on the field in Week 13 as he became the first quarterback, since Parnell Dickinson in 1976, to be sacked five times while attempting five or fewer passes in a game. The Niners threw for six net yards, their fewest in a game since 1963 when they threw for (-10) yards against the Lions. Colin Kaepernick threw for four yards on five passes and was sacked five times. Blaine Gabbert came in and threw for 35 yards while being sacked once. Despite all the support thrown his way in recent weeks, will he even be starting for the Niners next week? #FreeHimSoHeCanDisappearForever

Travis Kelce hasn’t scored a touchdown in five games. However, he’s been a beast of late with not one, not two, but three outings in a row with 100-receiving yards. Kelce has caught seven, eight and eight passes in those three games while averaging 116 yards a game for the Chiefs. That number is literally double the 56.1 yards per game mark that Kelce entered Week 13 with for his career.

Jarvis Landry saw a whopping 14 targets turning 11 of them into receptions for 87 yards. The previous two games Landry saw just nine receptions leading to 75 yards. In fact, Landry had been under 55-yards in 4-straight games and had caught six or fewer passes in the previous five games. Landry has caught 75 passes for 820 yards putting him on a 16 game pace of 100 receptions and 1,093 yards. #IsThatReallyDisappointing

Dion Lewis... you just had to have him, right? How is that going for you? In three games Lewis has carried the ball 16 times for 74 yards. Whoopee. He’s caught 11 passes for 71 yards. Whoopee two. That’s an average of nine touches for 48 yards a game. So again, I ask, how is Lewis treating you? #SometimesPredicitingPerformanceIsEasy

Lamar Miller has three 100-yard games this season. Just one of those has been since Week 7. He has only three rushing scores this season and has carried the ball 33 times for 79 yards the last two outings. #NotReallyGettingItDone

Dennis Pitta scores twice as he caught nine balls for 90 yards. Pitta hadn’t scored this season and didn’t score last season. Over his last 19 games, going back to the start of the 2013 season, he’s scored three times... and that includes the two he scored in Week 13.

Theo Riddick has run for 60 yards the last three games. In three of four games he’s failed to reach 16 receiving yards. He’s caught 18 passes the last three games but that’s 10 receptions for 28 yards the last two games. #ThatsHorrible

The Saints backfield played out list this in Week 13: Travaris Cadet 24 snaps, Mark Ingram 21 and Tim Hightower 13. #Huh

Darren Sproles has failed to run for 20-yards in 4-straight games. Four. He’s also scored two touchdowns this season, but you can go ahead and keep running him out there. #Why

Carson Wentz hit 11 of 19 passes while under pressure which doesn’t look so bad on the surface. Things get much worse when you note that he threw for just 66 yards and was picked off twice while under pressure (he was picked off three times overall and it could have been five --- seriously). More concerning is the fact that his 25.2 QB Rating while under pressure this week was double the mark since Week 6 (13.2). He also had six passes batted down at the line of scrimmage, a mark that is higher than the season long total for 15 signal caller. #WordsCannotDescribeHowBadThatIs
