0 -- The number of seven passes thrown by Jameis Winston in Week 12 of more than 20-yards that he completed. #NotGood
1 -- Number of sacks taken by Matthew Stafford on 25 Eagles’ blitzes in Week 12. He lit up the club from Philly on blitzes as he threw for 187 yards and three scores while completing 15-of-23 pass attempts.
1 -- The number of drops by DeAndre Hopkins in Week 12. That was his first drop since Week 4.
2 -- The number of touchdowns the last eight games for Julio Jones. He’s having a stupendous season with 94 receptions and 1,245 yards, but he’s also scored just six times this season which matches his total of last season. That’s 12 scores in 26 games. Tyler Eifert has 12 scores in 11 games this season.
2 -- The number of receptions on 15 targets by the Packers’ Davante Adams and James Jones in Week 12. Adams dropped three passes in the game.
2 -- Games in a row that Julius Thomas has scored. He’s caught 14 passes for 144 yards the last two contests. He still has only one game over 30-yards in his last five outings.
2 -- The number of players who have scored more than the 63 touchdowns Rob Gronkowski has produced in his first six seasons. Whether or not he closes the gap on the leaders depends on his health the rest of the way. Here are the two men who scored more their first six seasons – Jerry Rice 79 and Randy Moss 77. Lance Alworth is tied with Gronk at 63 scores.
2.5 -- YPC mark of Latavius Murray the last two games. That’s over 35 carries. The last three games he’s averaged 45 rushing yards a contest and he’s failed to hit 60 yards in any of the outings.
2.7 -- The percentage of 74 catchable passes this season that Odell Beckham Jr. has failed to haul in.
3 -- The number of undrafted players on the Raiders who have caught two touchdown passes in a single game this season after Seth Roberts pulled off the trick in Week 12. The others are Andre Holmes and Marcel Reece.
3 -- NFL ranking for Jonathan Stewart in rushing yards (832). JStew has run the ball at least 20-times in 7-straight games. He’s run for 100-yards twice in that time while also being held to fewer than 70 yards twice. He’s scored four times on the ground.
4 -- The number of times this season that the Vikings have run for more yards than they have passed for. They are 4-0 in such games. Teddy Bridgewater has failed to thrown for 190-yards in four of five games overall and has just two passing scores his last four contests.
6 -- Tackles broken by Tavon Austin on six receptions in Week 12. Pretty impressive for the mighty mite.
6.2 -- TD/INT ratio for Matt Hasselbeck against cover-2 defenses in his career as he’s thrown for 31 touchdowns and just five picks. He’s also is killing it on play action. In Week 12 he completed 11-of-17 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown (on play action this season he is 25-for-33 for 3346 yards and three scores). One final note. He became the 5th player in NFL history to record two TD passes in 3-straight games after the player’s 40th b-day. The last to do it was Brett Favre in 2009.
6.32 -- Yards per carry the last five games for C.J. Anderson. He’s averaged at least 4.5 YPC in each outing. Ronnie Hillman has hit 4.5 YPC in only one of the five games. Moreover, CJA and Hillman are averaging 5.37 YPC in two games with Brock Osweiler under center. The mark was just 3.89 in nine games with Peyton Manning.
6.9 -- Receptions per game for Jarvis Landry after his 13 catch outing in Week 12. Landry is on pace for 111 receptions and 1,187 yards this season.
7 -- Consecutive games in which Danny Woodhead has failed to run for 35 yards. ‘But Ray, he’s a pass catching option.’ OK, let’s look there. He has caught six or more passes in three of five games. The other two games he caught a total of three passes. Over his last four games he’s produced a total of 36.4 points in a PPR setup. That’s an average of 10.7 points a game with two of those efforts resulting in less than seven points.
8 -- Yards needed for 1,000 this season for Larry Fitzgerald who has been a star this season. He wasn’t last year because of awful quarterback play. Compare his season last year to his effort this far in 2015.
2014: 63 receptions, 784 yards, 2 TDs on 104 targets
2015: 83 receptions, 992 yards, 7 TDs on 111 targets
9 -- The number of passes thrown by Ryan Fitzpatrick that were incomplete in Week 12. OK, that’s not really accurate. How about we say the number of passes that were incomplete do to his fault. The Jets dropped five passes, two passes were batted down at the line and two were knocked down by defenders.
9 -- The number of passes Markus Wheaton caught in Week 12 leading to 201 yards. He had failed to catch more than two passes in every game since the first of the season. He had produced 218 yards in his previous nine games.
9 -- The number of the 158 yards that Sammy Watkins produced in Week 12 that he generated after the catch. Rather amazing. He didn’t make a catch in the second half. Rather amazing part II.
12 -- Touchdowns scored by Tyler Eifert this season in 11 games. As I noted above, that’s a lot. It actually leads the NFL. The only other tight end in league history to have 12 scores in his team’s first 12 games is Julius Thomas who pulled off the feat last season.
30 -- The percent of passes thrown more than 10-yards in the air that Blake Bortles completed in Week 12 (he was 6-for-20 for 139 yards, a score and one pick).
43.3 -- Average rushing yard total of Todd Gurley the last three games. In two of those efforts he failed to rush for 50-yards. He’s also averaged 15.3 carries a game in that time. Moreover, over his last four games his average yardage total is 54.8 yards. In each of his first four starts this season he had one run of at least 48 yards. He hasn’t had a run of 17 yards since.
47.6 -- The conversion rate to Mike Evans this season as he’s caught 49 of the 103 passes thrown his way this season. In his 10 games he’s averaged 78.9 yards a contest. He has hit that number just four times in those 10 games.
70 -- Completion percentage last week for Mark Sanchez on passes that were in the air more than 10-yards. He went 7-for-10 for 138 yards and a score in such situations. He will likely take a seat this week with Sam Bradford likely to return.
83 -- The number of yards, out of the 114 yards gained by Spencer Ware, that were produced after contact in Week 12.
85 -- The percentage of yards gained on the ground by Melvin Gordon in Week 12 that came after contact as the rookie generated 51 yards (out of 60).
92 -- The NFL leading target total for a tight end through 11 games. That number has been reached by both Rob Gronkowski and Greg Olsen. Gronk has 57 receptions and Olsen 53. Ben Watson has 50 receptions on just 67 targets for the Saints.
95.5 -- The percentage of Niners snaps the last two games that Shaun Draughn has been on the field. He’s also caught 17 passes in three games with the club. For more on the Niners new lead back, see the Big 3 RB video for Week 12.
99 -- Yards gained after the catch for Doug Baldwin in Week 12. That’s out of the 145 yards he produced (he scored three times as well). He forced four missed tackles in the game. Only four wideouts have broken more tackles this season than Baldwin with 14.
140 -- The number of yards on 13 passes in Week 12 that Ryan Tannehill produced when blitzed (he completed eight passes for a score).
283 -- Number of passes thrown in a row in which Alex Smith has not been picked off. That is the fourth longest mark in the annals of league history. Tom Brady leads the way at 358-straight passing attempts without being picked. Since his last pick Smith has thrown for 11 scores. Too bad that’s over nine games.
