When it comes to MLB DFS, is there anything better than a juicy, 12-game main slate? I don’t think so. OK, maybe some folks like the complement of a full 15-gamer, but this one suits me just fine. We’ve got some very interesting pitching match-ups, no concern about jamming in Coors Field players and a few punching bags worth targeting against. Any value to be had in those tasty match-ups? We’ll just have to take a look and see to make sure the pricing is a little better than it was late last week or over the weekend.

Both Sites:

Huascar Ynoa , SP ATL ($6,000 DK/$5,500 FD) – The 22-year-old right-hander is going to get a chance to stay in the Braves rotation after a solid outing against the Nationals where he threw five scoreless frames, allowing just two hits and a walk while striking out five. If his newly-refined change-up is working, then he should have himself a solid outing against a Marlins team that is averaging just one run per games over their last five. The Braves are going to gradually increase his workload in the hopes of getting another strong start from him this week, so the hope is for the quality start and the dream is the win.

Taylor Trammell , OF SEA ($3,100 DK/$2,300 FD) – He’s starting to heat up with homers in back-to-back games and four hits and five RBI in his last four. Love seeing him along with his .401 wOBA and .948 OPS against righties against a very hittable Dean Kreamer in Camden Yards.

Nick Senzel , OF CIN ($3,300 DK/$3,100 FD) – The Reds outfielder was up and down in the series against Arizona, but he still managed eight hits in five games. He’ll now face Aaron Sanchez who has those oddball reverse splits where he struggles against same-handed hitting, so Senzel’s .448 wOBA against righties certainly plays here.

Draft Kings:

Dylan Carlson, OF STL ($3,300) – Carlson has hit safely in five-straight games and has one double, two home runs, two walks and five RBI in that span. Nationals starter Eric Fedde is very hittable and Carlson should put that .343 wOBA on display in this game.

Omar Narváez , C MIL ($3,400) – If you don’t want to totally punt the catcher position but don’t feel the need to pay up all the way, then Narvaez is in a great spot. We’re pretty bullish on the Brewers as is, given their recent surge, but the backstop is coming off seven hits in five games, including two home runs, before getting the day off Sunday to rest.

FanDuel:

Kyle Seager , 3B SEA ($2,900) – Just like Trammell, the lefty-swinging Seager is in a great spot against Orioles soft-tossing righty Dean Kreamer. Seager owns a .409 wOBA with a .960 OPS against right-handed pitching and is carrying the momentum for a spectacular five hit weekend against the Twins which includes a two-homer game on Sunday.

Michael Taylor, OF KC ($2,800) – How is it that Taylor has hit safely in every game he’s played this season and still sits under $3,000 on FanDuel? He’ll square up against righty Alex Cobb who, for lack of a better way to put it, stinks on ice. For this price, he doesn’t even have to do a lot to return value and given Cobb’s penchant for allowing the long ball, he could easily exceed value in his first at-bat.

Jed Lowrie , 2B OAK ($2,400) – If Madison Bumgarner pitches this game and the Diamondbacks don’t make a last-second pivot to righty Zac Gallen, then Lowrie makes for a rock-solid value option at this price. The veteran infielder is notorious for his hot starts and he’s got seven hits in his last five games with one home run and four RBI. That includes back-to-back multi-hit performances.
