The great part about Baltimore is that they aren’t expensive outside of Manny Machado . So you can stack them up and still have some money to pay for some top pitchers. Detroit Tigers
The Tigers come in with an implied run total sitting at 4.81, making them one of the higher teams on the slate, so we want to target them for some offense. They are up against Bartolo Colón , who has some really rough numbers this season vs both lefties and righties. He is giving up a .331 wOBA to lefties, .341 wOBA to righties, 1.13 HR/9 to lefties and 2.56 HR/9 to righties. The fan favorite Big Sexy is well past his prime and has given up three or more earned runs in six of his last eight starts. With numbers as bad as those, you can stack really anyone you want from the Tigers and really just comes down to salary. Despite this being a negative park shift for the Red Sox, they still come in with an implied run total sitting at 5.33, which is second highest on the slate. As we all know they one of the best offensive teams in the league and generally it comes down to how much money you have to stack them. They are up against Jason Hammel who is giving up a 47% hard contact rate to lefties and a 44% hard contact rate to righties.
