The Cubs and Cardinals are getting an early start today, so make sure you’re playing the right games. Personally, I’ll be avoiding the all-day slate only because I like to see the lineups before making my final decisions. Some people take the risk. I do not. As for the rest of the slate, we’ve got some nice GPP options with a small handful of cash game favorites. Here’s what it looks like:

Stephen Strasburg, WAS – He’s sporting a 1.98 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with 11 strikeouts over 13.2 innings against the Braves this season. They may have been swinging the bats batter recently, but they’re still a team with a 29th-ranked .294 wOBA against right-handed pitching this year.
Carlos Carrasco, CLE – While the Angels are only fanning 19-percent of the time over the past seven days, their offense has been incredibly weak. They’re posting a .241 wOBA with just a .316 slugging percentage this past week and the .139 ISO isn’t helping either.
Dylan Bundy, BAL – Watch the ownership percentages here as Bundy is going to be a popular choice tonight. Not only has he allowed just five runs over his last 23.2 innings (four starts), but the Giants are posting a dismal .287 wOBA with a 23-percent strikeout rate over the last seven days.
Ross Stripling, LAD – I love his ground ball rates, especially when he’s facing a team like the Pirates who have been mashing the ball in the dirt 49.2-percent of the time over the past week. On top of that, Pittsburgh has just a .292 wOBA which comes with a .095 ISO and 22.7-percent strikeout rate.
Kyle Gibson, MIN – Moving into dart territory here with Gibson, but how do you pass up this price against a Royals squad that has a .287 wOBA with a 23-percent strikeout rate over the past week? The .123 ISO is endearing for prospective Gibson owners as his his ground ball rate with their 47.8-percent mark over the last seven days.
Ariel Miranda, SEA – Looking for an even bigger dart? How about this young southpaw facing an A’s team that not only has a 23rd-ranked .312 wOBA against lefties, but has also posted just a .244 wOBA with a .107 ISO over the last seven days. Not a lot of strikeouts, but if he can keep the ball down, he’s going to surprise a lot of people.
Paul Clemens, SD – OK, one more dart you just have to throw a buck on in a FanDuel single-entry GPP. Why wouldn’t you? The Mets have a .235 wOBA over the past week and that comes with a .306 slugging percentage, a .107 ISO and a 23.7-percent strikeout rate. For a dollar? You bet!
