I’m one of those players who is not a fan of slates where Coors field plays a role. I believe all players from the Mets and Rockies are in play, but only mentioned one player in the lists below. The weather may be a factor today as well. Please look at the conditions closer to game time. The big one to keep an eye on is at Wrigley. If it’s blowing out, then the Cubs make for a great team target, and the Pirates as a risky gpp only move vs Jake today. Good luck and enjoy your weekend.

Buster Posey vs a lefty is always and play, and matched up against Corbin only bumps him up more. Safe cash game play, but may be worth a fade in tournaments. Tony Wolters is worth a look for value at Coors, as well as whoever the Mets start. If it is Rene Rivera, then I like him more than Wolters. Both Russell Martin and David Ross check in as nice value plays. Ross broke out of a mini slump with 3 hits yesterday with one going deep. Martin has not been playing great at all lately, but I think Colby Lewis gets rocked tonight.

First Base
The easy play is to go to Lucas Duda or Mark Reynolds, but there are some solid options elsewhere. David Ortiz has not hit a homer in 4 games, but Sox have been great at home, and Vegas expects them to score 5 plus runs today. For slightly cheaper, Paul Goldschmidt and Freddie Freeman are worth a look. Both have juicy matchups, and will be overlooked in tourneys. If looking to go cheap, Justin Smoak is your guy. He is 8-19 with 2 HR’s vs Lewis, and should bat in heart of very dangerous lineup. Kendrys Morales and the Royals are a great sneaky stack option for GPP’s today. Hosmer in play, but wanted to provide a second cheap option.

The top 2B like Altuve and Cano are in play like most nights, but will be looking elsewhere. Jean Segura leading off for Arizona has been pretty successful so far and should not change tonight. His 11 game hitting streak and matchup vs Peavy makes for a great cash game play. Rougned Odor is in a similar spot as well. He has 2 or more hits in 9 of his last 13 games. Outside of the other players recommended in the above table, Ben Zobrist is in a great spot as well.

Third Base
There are a few routes to go with 3B today. Kris Bryant is my preferred play, but not against Manny Machado as well. Both have gone deep against their opposing pitchers before, and can see it happening again. Aaron Hill’s price doesn’t rise, but neither has his production. The Brew crew have been disappointing, but are in a nice spot to break out today. The Astros are going to score today, and Luis Valbeuna has taken Clay deep before like many other players have (Note: Valbeuna not in lineup). If stacking Arizona, Jake Lamb makes for a nice pick if wanting 1-4 Zona bats.

Shortstop
Carlos Correa and Xander Bogaerts are both great plays in what should be a high scoring game. If wanting to be slightly different, Jimmy Rollins and Alcedis Escobar are both worth a look, but only as part of a stacking situation. Ketel Marte and Troy Tulowitzki are similar priced on FD and DK. If had to choose, I’d lean to the more RBI potential in Tulu, but both are in play.

Outfield
Outfield is loaded tonight with multiple routes to go. Hunter Pence has owned Corbin by going 10-21 with 3 HR’s. Jose Bautista has 2 HR’s in 15 AB’s vs Lewis but a crazy 10 walks. Melky Cabrera is another BvP special going 7-12 with 2 HR’s vs Nova. Finally, Nori Aoki makes the list taking Chacin deep 3 times in his career, and still looking for his first of the season. If punting, Michael Taylor leading off is a nice option and still cheap on FD. Jason Heyward makes for a sneaky GPP play if stacking Cubs. Many will be off of him, but think this can be his breakout game.
