We have all 30 teams in action in Tuesday’s 15-game DFS MLB slate. There isn’t exactly many premium pitching options to go around, so we have a lot of different ways to go about rostering our hitters tonight.
On top of that, there isn’t too much that stands out in terms of weather right now, but I’d still keep an eye on things just to be safe.
As always, players are organized in the stats tables by highest to lowest salary based on FanDuel pricing.

Evan Gattis is 7-for-20 (.350 AVG) throughout his career against Cole Hamels with three solo home runs. He has turned up his game a notch since coming back from the minors where he got in some work behind the plate. In fact, he has homered in four of his six games in June.
Jonathan Lucroy gets a great matchup against Sean Manaea who has a 4.76 xFIP this season. While he has played the vast majority of his games at home this season, Manaea has been pitiful on the road, allowing two homers and eight earned runs in 2.2 innings.
Stephen Vogt has a 10-game hitting streak where he has gone 16-for-42 (.381 AVG) with a home run, five doubles, and four RBIs.
Welington Castillo hit only one home run in May after hitting six in April. Still, he is very good against southpaws, batting .321/.368/.698 with five home runs in 53 at-bats against lefties this season.
Miguel Montero has batted .269/.355/.435 throughout his career against right-handed pitching. He is a very good value throughout the industry, but I prefer him on FanDuel.

Mike Napoli disappointed last night, going 0-for-4 against James Paxton, but he actually matches up better against Wade Miley, who doesn’t throw nearly as hard as the flame throwing Paxton. Miley currently has a 1.67 HR/9 and 4.44 xFIP; both of which, would be the worst of his 6-year MLB career.
Chris Carter will be a prime GPP target thanks to his mega upside and great matchup against Sean Manaea of the A’s. Manaea has faced 13 right-handed batters away from the Oakland Coliseum this season, and has allowed opponents to go 9-for-13 (.692 aVG) with two homers, a double, and six RBIs.
Joey Votto has looked a lot better at the plate since stepping foot in Coors Field for the first time this season on 5/30. He is 8-for-26 (.308 AVG) with three homers, three doubles, six walks, seven runs, seven RBIs, and two stolen bases in his last seven games, and matches up extremely well against his former teammate, Mike Leake.
Logan Morrison has hit four home runs in his last four games and happens to get a matchup against Zack Greinke, who he has batted .500/.583/.700 against throughout his career.
Adam Lind makes a very good value play considering he is 4-for-6 (.667 AVG) with a home run and three RBIs against Cody Anderson in their previous meetings.

Daniel Murphy has quietly become the best hitter in baseball this season, yet, tends to be overlooked on a nightly basis. Yeah, he’s expensive. In fact, he’s the most expensive second baseman on the board on both FanDuel and DraftKings, but he’s arguably the best play in both GPPs and cash games.
Robinson Cano gets a dream matchup against Cody Anderson, who is allowing a dreadful 2.27 HR/9 this season. He was able to get to 16 home runs this season in just 52 games, when it took him 137 games to get to 16 home runs last season.
Neil Walker was clearly working on his right-handed hitting in the offseason, because he is having his best season ever against southpaws. I think it’s a difference maker tonight against Jon Niese, who he has struggled against in their previous meetings. Amazingly, Walker has a 41.7% Hard Hit Rate and a .464 wOBA against southpaws this season, and will no longer be subbed because of his inability to hit from the right-side of the plate. His ownership is going to be ultra-low tonight because his price significantly increased even though its the same matchup due to the rainout.
Jurickson Profar has been ridiculous since he was called up for Rougned Paquiao 10 games ago on 5/27. He now has a 10-game hitting streak and extra base hits in five of his last six games, which has helped him stay in the lineup even after Rougned Lesnar came back from his suspension.
Starlin Castro gets a very good matchup against David Huff, who is making his return to the Majors after spending the entire season with Triple-A Omaha and Triple-A Salt Lake City. Huff has allowed eight earned runs in just 8 1/3 innings against right-handed bats this season.

Adrian Beltre is batting .414/.500/.586 with a homer in 34 plate appearances against southpaws in Arlington this season.
Yangervis Solarte has been on fire since coming off of the disabled list. Over his last 10 games, he has gone 14-for-37 (.378 AVG) with three homers, two doubles, three walks, nine runs, and nine RBIs.
Yunel Escobar is 7-for-15 (.467 AVG) with two homers, a double, and six RBIs, lifetime, against Michael Pineda of the Yankees.
Justin Turner makes quite the GPP play tonight against Eddie Butler. Turner is batting .727/.786/1.000 throughout his 14 career plate appearances against Eddie Butler. The best thing about it is that he has never struck out against the Rockies right-hander.
Pedro Alvarez is the #1 reason why the Fantasy Alarm team was able to rocket into third place in the FanDuel Playboy Baseball Championship on Saturday. While I wouldn’t play him on DK where he is only eligible at first base, he has some huge upside for the price at third base.

Francisco Lindor is batting .385/.420/.523 with a .404 wOBA and two of his six home runs this season against left-handed pitching.
Jonathan Villar has gone 13-for-36 (.361 AVG) with three homers, a double, eight walks, 10 runs, nine RBIs, and six stolen bases over his last 10 games. The way he is able to accumulate points makes him a great cash game play even though his price has risen drastically over the last few weeks.
Eduardo Nunez is a completely different Eduardo Nunez this season. Quite frankly, what he is doing in the batter’s box is unbelievable. Over his last 10 games, he has gone 18-for-45 (.400 AVG) with three homers, a double, 10 runs, and four stolen bases.
Jedd Gyorko may be overlooked with the return of Jhonny Peralta to the lineup. Gyorko may still get a look at 2nd base, especially considering the struggles of Kolten Wong. Gyorko has a reasonable .340 OBP and 103 wRC+ against southpaws this season.
Jhonny Peralta will be activated from the Disabled List and should be in the lineup for the Cardinals tonight against John Lamb of the Rays. Peralta is only $2000 on FanDuel and has always been one of the better offensive shortstops in the game. He has in at least 11 home runs every season since his rookie campaign in 2005.

Jose Bautista has a career .382 wOBA against left-handed pitching. He faces a weak lefty in Matt Boyd who Bautista has homered off of in the past.
Mike Trout has batted .360/.448/.700 with four homers in 50 at-bats at Yankee Stadium throughout his career.
Nelson Cruz is mainly a DraftKings play tonight. I don’t know why, but the DraftKings algorithm has Cody Anderson as a Cy Young Candidate or something because they have Cruz at a very affordable $3600 tonight. Cody Anderson has allowed 10 home runs in just 39 2/3 innings this season and Cruz is probably the most likely to go yard on the Mariners roster.
Bryce Harper gets a great matchup against Mat Latos, who is allowing left-handed hitters to bat .287/.353/.404 this season. He may be 6-1 with a 4.02 ERA, but his 5.29 xFIP is pitiful, and his 56.7 First Pitch Strike Rate and 6.8% Swinging Strike Rate are both the worst of his 8-year MLB career.
Adam Duvall has homered seven times in his last 10 games, and is 6-for-17 (.353 AVG) with three homers, six runs, and six RBIs over his last four games.
Matt Kemp continues to swing a hot bat, going 12-for-42 (.286 AVG) with three home runs, two doubles, nine runs scored, and and 10 RBIs over his last 10 games.
Cameron Maybin just continues to get on base at will. He reached base safely three more times out of just five plate appearances last night and will likely remain in the 2-hole behind Ian Kinsler and in front of Miguel Cabrera. Definitely prefer his value on DraftKings and Aces.
Lorenzo Cain is only $3100 on FanDuel, and has a great matchup against Ubaldo Jimenez who sucks so bad that DK’s pricing algorithm made a struggling Eric Hosmer $5500. Cain has batted .471/.526/.647 throughout his career against Jimenez.
Jason Heyward’s two hits in three at-bats against Jerad Eickhoff have gone for extra bases. He is coming off of a nice game last night where he hit his third home run of the season. Love his value on FanDuel at just $3000.
Rajai Davis went 2-for-4 with a homer and stolen base last night off of James Paxton of the Mariners. On paper, he has an even better matchup tonight against Wade Miley, who he has gone 3-for-7 (.429 AVG) with two homers against in their previous meetings.
Nori Aoki is getting the majority of starts at leadoff for the Mariners and will likely remain in that spot until Leonys Martin comes back from the Disabled List. Not much upside, but he is very consistent. Over his last 15 games, he has batted .310/.355/.414 with a home run. I prefer his value on DraftKings tonight at just $2900.
Byron Buxton was definitely able to ride his momentum from his hot stint in Triple-A Rochester. Buxton has been able to get hits in each of the six games he has played since his call up, going 10-for-23 (.435 AVG) with two triples, a double, three runs, two RBIs, and a stolen base. Love his value on DraftKings at just $2400.
Hyun-Soo Kim has been getting all of the O’s at-bats against right-handed pitching. It helps when you are able to put up a .412 wOBA in limited action, and I’m sure it will continue to help batting between Adam Jones and Manny Machado.
Ben Revere is still below the Mendoza line and is having a season he’s probably want to forget. Still, everything about his game over the last few years suggests that things are going to turn around sooner rather than later. Plus, he’s only $2500 on FanDuel tonight, on a night where the Nationals get a juicy matchup against Mat Latos.
Jarrett Parker will get a great look in the Giants outfield due to the injury to Hunter Pence. Parker is a guy who has crushed it in the minors, hitting 13 home runs in just 135 at-bats in Triple-A Sacramento this season. He hit his second home run of the season on Sunday Night Baseball and remains a good value throughout the industry.
Domingo Santana is crushing left-handed pitching this season. Over 37 at-bats, he has batted .378/.500/.541 with a home run and five RBIs.
