The most difficult part of filling out lineups in Sunday’s slate is probably deciding which studs to pay for. Between the Coors game and a lot of attractive matchups for hot hitters, you could make a compelling argument for multiple top players at each position. Fortunately, there are a good amount of cheaper plays I like, as well. One interesting note: there aren’t very many third base options worth considering. I don’t know why that would be the case in this particular slate, but it was pretty clear after I examined the available options. That may be another compelling reason to use Nolan Arenado, not that you really needed one.

Nick Hundley should be good to go after a day off Saturday. He has a .972 OPS against lefties this season, and he is 5-for-17 with two home runs over his current five-game hitting streak.

Alex Avila is 7-for-12 with a home run over his last three games, and left-handed batters have a .351 wOBA against Marcus Stroman.

Brian McCann is 7-for-16 with two home runs over his four-game hitting streak.

DJ LeMahieu is 10-for-25 with two home runs against Patrick Corbin and 13-for-31 with a home run and a stolen base over the last seven days.

Brett Lawrie is 9-for-17 with three home runs over his four-game hitting streak, and his price is quite nice on DraftKings.

Brian Dozier is 12-for-29 with two home runs over his eight-game hitting streak, and he is 3-for-8 in his career against Nate Eovaldi.

Neil Walker is 10-for-27 against Bud Norris, and left-handed batters have a .394 wOBA against Norris.

Nolan Arenado has a .460 wOBA at home against left-handed pitchers in his career, and he is 10-for-27 with a home run over the last week.

It comes as no surprise, but it is still worth noting Danny Valencia is 7-for-17 against Hector Santiago. On a weak day for third basemen, Valencia stands out even more.

I like my other two third base picks much better, but if you have to go cheaper, Yangervis Solarte is solid. He is 5-for-12 over the last three days and 8-for-23 over the last week.

Francisco Lindor is 5-for-12 with a home run against Justin Verlander, and he hit two home runs Saturday.

Corey Seager is 13-for-25 with a home run over the last week, and he has a .917 OPS against righties this season. I like him better than either Coors shortstop, which is saying something.

Jose Iglesias is 8-for-19 over his five-game hitting streak, and right-handed batters own a .330 wOBA against Josh Tomlin.

Ryan Braun is 12-for-29 over his current seven-game hitting streak, and he is 3-for-7 against Tanner Roark.

Brandon Barnes is 4-for-10 against Patrick Corbin and 5-for-13 over his last three starts. He is once again the best way to get cheap exposure to Coors, especially on DraftKings.

Jay Bruce is the only Red who is hitting much right now, going 8-for-24 with a home run over the last week. Bruce has a .917 OPS against right-handed pitchers this season, and he has the best chance of jumping on Luis Perdomo.

Steven Moya is 8-for-19 with three home runs in his last five games, and his price is especially low on DraftKings.

I’m going to keep riding Colby Rasmus while he is hot. He is 10-for-18 over his last four starts, and left-handed batters own a .346 wOBA against Ian Kennedy.

Alex Gordon went 2-for-5 in his first game back from the DL Saturday, and left-handed batters have a .369 wOBA against Doug Fister. This may be as low as Gordon’s price is going to be for a while.

Yaisel Puig is 7-for-15 in his four games since returning from the DL, and while his price on DraftKings has caught up to his hot bat, he is a nice value on FanDuel and FantasyAces.

Much like with Alex Gordon, this may be your last chance to get Giancarlo Stanton cheap. Stanton is 7-for-23 with two home runs over the last week and 6-for-15 with one homer and two stolen bases against Jason Hammel.

Curtis Granderson is 4-for-7 with two home runs against Bud Norris.

Brett Gardner is 8-for-19 with five runs scored over the last week, and he has at least one hit in five of his last six games.

Coco Crisp is 3-for-8 with two home runs against Hector Santiago and 6-for-12 with one home run over his last three games.
