Last night provided some unexpected double dong power.  Hopefully, we can find some of those possible gems today, but with today’s slate, I don’t see a need to take any huge risks.  There are some nice matchups, some warm humid stadiums, and a game in Coors. Good luck!

Catcher

Miguel Montero:  Cubs offense should be back to scoring today, and Montero homered in his only official AB vs Wisler.  Price is cheap as well.

Salvador Perez:  Hot and humid day in Chicago.  Batting .375 in 48 AB’s vs Quintana.

Derek NorrisStruggled last night, but has a chance to redeem himself tonight.  Has a HR in 2 of last 4 games.

Brian McCannContinues to be a popular play while batting in the middle of Yanks lineup.  Has taken Verlander deep before, but weather may be a concern there tonight.

First Base

Jose Abreu: Sox bats hopefully warming up like Chicago is.  Abreu also 7-21 vs Duffy with a HR.

Joey Votto:    Usually not a fan of taking a player against a pitching debut, but Votto makes for nice GPP play in mini-Reds stack.  Hitless in last 2 games keeps him off of cash games for me.

David OrtizPrice slowly creeping down, and has nice matchup vs Gibson.  Red Sox have an over 5 implied run total (IRT), and think Ortiz and Sox exceed that numer.

Brandon BeltNot a fan of lefty/lefty matchups, but Belt is 5-10 with 3 HR’s vs Kazmir, and can’t ignore that.

Mark Reynolds:    Coor’s field pick. Also like Brett Wallace on the flip side if in the lineup.

Second Base

Dustin PedroiaOn a 16 game hitting streak with a 3 hit game last night.  Sox are best offense outside of Coor’s today.

DJ LeMahieu Speaking of Coor’s, LaMahieu is more expensive than Pedroia and the other recommended players on just about every site.  Although I like him, I feel like there are better options to take from the Rockies, and fading DJ.

Brian DozierAlways seems to make my list.  Gets to face a lefty today in which he is 1-2 with a HR against.

Neil Walker:   Long game for these teams last night.  The starting pitchers may have to extend a bit, and I like the Met’s chances of putting up some early runs today.  Walker has taken Peralta deep before.

Ben ZobristSeems like his slump is behind him now with 3 hits over his last 2 games.  Cubs make for a lower owned target today.

Third Base

Nolan ArenadoAt Coor’s vs a pitcher making his debut there.  I like Nolan’s chances of going deep for the second night in a row, and will try to get him in my lineups.

Kris BryantCheaper ption with the same HR capabilities as Nolan.  Also 1-1 vs Wisler with a HR.

Martin PradoLate night GPP play that has 7 hits over his last 4 games.

Todd Frazier Cheaper HR threat than Nolan and Kris that has taken Duffy deep before.  Like the other 2 options slighty more, but Frazier comes in as the discounted option.

Alex RodriguezIf riding the Yanks, A-Rod is 11-32 with 5 HR’s vs Verlander.

Shortstop

Trevor Story:  Easy plug and play choice if stacking Rockies, but like Xander slightly more for cash.

Jhonny Peralta:  Cheap price is you use him at 3B on FD.  Has good numbers vs Liriano going 18-53 with 4 HR’s.

Tim AndersonWhite Sox rookie that replaces Rollins.  Batted 9th though last night, and expecting same today.  Went 2-3 in his debut, and minimum price.

Zack CozartLike Votto, gets a new pitcher, but Cozart has been seeing the ball well, and makes for nice GPP play with Votto.

Jonathan VillarGPP only pick that has been struggling lately, but a single, SB, and run would change all that.

Xander Bogaerts:  I like Xander for my early cash games if paying up.  Started this series off with 4 hits including a HR.

Outfield

Please note that most of the OF’s in the Padres/Rockies game are in play.  All of the lefty OF’s for the Rockies would be my top targets, with Will Myers and Matt Kemp for the Padres.

Curtis Granderson: Met’s offense going to score some runs today, and like Granderson’s spot.  He has gone 5-11 with 2 HR’s off of Peralta.

Gregory PolancoBvP special going 8-14 vs Martinez.  Feel free to pair him with Starling Marte who is 6-17 vs him as well.

Melky CabreraHas been hot from the plate with 4 XBH in last 3 games, and has taken Duffy deep in the past.

Dexter FowlerMuch like the other Cubs listed, Fowler is 1-2 with a HR of Wisler.  If the Cub’s bats come alive today, Fowler should be a key part of that.
