We have a split slate today with the evening slate being the larger of the two. There isn’t really one game that stands out to me today. Vegas likes Boston/Detroit to put up the most runs during the day, but both pitchers have been above average lately. For the evening slate, the Cubs have been struggling lately, but now have the Sox and a replacement pitcher at Wrigley tonight. Arizona/Milwaukee may be the best target for the evening slate. I don’t have any sneaky stacks for the early slate, but the Mets are looking like my evening high risk sneaky stack. Good luck!

Catcher
Cash Play: Early: J.T. Realmuto and Buster Posey are my top early cash games. I’ll take the discount on FD with Realmuto leading off. He’s hit safely in 6 of his last 7 games. Posey is actually cheaper than J.T. on DK and rolling him out. With no standout option, best to take the best catcher available. Late: All four players listed in table I feel are playable for cash games. If I had to choose one, I would target Wellington Castillo. He is 2-3 with a HR off of Nelson.
GPP plays: Early: I don’t think there are great stacking options today so go with what works for your team salary wise. Posey and Realmuto are in play, but a nice lower owned option to target is Yasmani Grandal. He went deep last night, and gets homer prone Moore today. Late: Out of the four listed, I feel that both Stephen Vogt and Salvador Perez will be the lowest owned, but both are in solid spots. Perez is 6-8 with a HR off of Shoemaker, while Vogt is 4-8 vs the tougher pitcher in Yu.
Value Plays: Early: James McCann is near minimum price on FD, and not a bad punt option. On the other sites, would rather pay a little more though for better quality. Late: Will wait for lineups to come out with no great value on the board currently.

First Base
Cash Plays: Early: Although I like Ortiz, I’m rolling out my favorite daytime hitter in Miguel Cabrera. He’s walked 4 times over his last two games, but think he gets the opportunity to crush one today. Late: Anthony Rizzo was my play last night, but with his high price tag, he needed to go deep and failed at that. He has another great opportunity tonight, but not sure I can fit his high price tag in. If I don’t have the salary for Rizzo, I’ll look at Eric Hosmer, who is much cheaper and 4-8 off of Shoemaker.
GPP Plays: Early: Miggy and Ortiz are in play, but a lower owned target is Brandon Belt. He has taken Straily deep before, and homered in the first game of the series last night. Late: There are some great gpp options at first for the late slate. My favorite one is David Freese. He will probably be the lowest owned of the group I listed, but he is 5-17 with 2 HR’s vs Paxton.
Value Play: Early: Tommy Joseph’s price doesn’t really ever rise. He is your best punt at first. Late: James Loney is 14-28 off of Wainwright. I also like Matt Adams and Kennys Vargas, who homered in his only AB vs Foltynewicz.

Second Base
Cash plays: Early: Two ways to go at second with it being Ian Kinsler or Ryan Schimpf. Both are in nice spots, but would rather pay up for Kinsler as more of a block move than anything else, and use Schimpf in gpp’s. Late: Second is also thin for the night slate, and going to just roll out Scooter Gennett. He’s starting to heat up lately, and has a nice matchup against Bradley tonight. Not opposed to punting on FD with Philip Gosselin if batting second again.
GPP plays: Early: Ryan Schimpf will provide you with salary relief, but if looking to be different, Howie Kendrick should get to bat leadoff today vs Moore. Late: With the Mets being my sneaky stack, I like Neil Walker. He is 9-32 with a HR off of Wainwright, and has been a disaster at the plate lately.
Value Plays: Early: Schimpf is the top value at 2B. Late: Gooselin is your FD option, while Walker has a crazy low price on DK.

Shortstop
Cash Plays: Early: Tulu is out of the lineup, and disappointed last night. I’m either paying for Xander Bogaerts or punting with with one listed below. Xander continues to be the safest cash play out there at second, and will be highly owned. Late: I’m using Jonathan Villar and Aledmys Diaz as ss cash plays. Villar has been leading the Brewers offense, and expecting a big night out of him. Diaz’s price comes at a nice discount on FD compared to his highest priced SS DK price.
GPP Plays: Early: All three cheap options listed are in play, and come with risk. Trea Turner has a tough matchup, but a single, SB, and run pays off for him easily. Alexi Ramirez is a knuckleball hitter going 5-13 with a HR off of Dickey. Chris Taylor is the wildcard facing the weak pitcher in Moore. Late: Alcides Escobar works nicely in a Royals stack, as he is another Royal who hits Shoemaker well, going 3-5.
Value Play: Early: All three of the gpp plays work as value plays. Late: Besides Escobar, I also like Jordy Mercer tonight if batting towards the top.

Third Base
Cash Plays: Early: I’m either paying up for Josh Danaldson or saving a bit with Travis Shaw. Donaldson is by far the top 3B and will be the highly owned and went deep last night. Shaw faces a better righty in Fulmer today, but Vegas still likes the Sox to score, and Shaw has been a safe cash play lately. Late: Taking the top choice again with Nolan Arenado on DK, but will be taking the discount with Adrian Beltre on FD and Aces. Texas has the highest run total of the night currently.
GPP plays: Early: I’ll probably stick with Donaldson, but will have exposure to Justin Turner against the lefty Moore today. Late: Yunel Escobar went 5-5 last night, and works well in an Angel’s stack with Trout.
Value Play: Early: Conor Gillaspie checks in as a punt play who has taken Straily deep before. Late: Jedd Gyorko has been hitting bombs lately, and if in the top of the lineup, makes for a nice salary relief option on FD only.

Outfield
Cash Plays: Early: Sticking with my two top guys, and a punt for OF. Today it features Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr, and Scott Van Slyke. All three are in nice matchups where they can go deep. I also like the Marlins OF tandem. Late: I think both Dexter Fowler and Mike Trout will be tough fades tonight. Fowler is almost a must play on FD, but a fade on DK and Aces, as Trout and Ian Desmond are cheaper or similar priced. Michael Bourn disappointed in the leadoff spot last night, but has a possible second chance tonight in a similar matchup.
GPP Plays: Early: I think you should try to stick with the Boston duo for gpps, and add in the hot hitting Alex Dickerson. Went deep last night, and is still cheap. Late: The Adam combo of both Adam Eaton and Adam Jones are great gpp targets. Both leadoff, went deep last night, and usually end up low owned.
Value Plays: Early: Outside of Dickerson, the Marlins and Dodgers OF’s provide salary relief in plus matchups. Late: Delino DeShields is cheap on FD, and if leading off, is a fine punt play tonight.
