For today, we are concentrating on the evening slate only tonight. It’s a seven game slate with all the games having at least a line of 8 runs. I decided to leave out the players from the Dodgers/Rockies game. Games are Coors are always in play, but the sites have very much caught on by continuing to increase the price tags for games at Coors. My top plays there would be Adrian Gonzalez, Corey Seager, Josh Reddick, Carlos Gonzalez, and Charlie Blackmon. If you can fit these players on for your roster, feel free, but wanted to provide options from the other games today. Good luck!

Catcher
Cash Play: Jonathan Lucroy has a nice price tag on FD and Aces, and is 4-11 with a HR lifetime off of Miley. On DK, both Evan Gattis and Stephen Vogt provide you with cheaper options, but neither are as consistent as Lucroy. I would probably lean towards Vogt to be able to pay up for others.
GPP plays: All three listed above are in play for gpp’s, but if in the lineup, I also like Sandy Leon. The Red Sox are a wild card team tonight that can either blast off vs the newly acquired Miranda, or out up a goose egg again.
Value Plays: Vogt has a great price on DK, but on FD, I like Brian McCann as a value play. He has hit safely in his last eight games, but all of them produced just a single. Thinking it changes tonight to at least a double if not more.

First Base
Cash Plays: While I do believe you can fit a Coor’s player in this spot, Freddie Freeman is in a nice spot to put up some numbers tonight. He is 7-17 with 2 HR’s off Vogelsong. Even though he has struck out in 5 of his last 8 AB’s, the matchup hard to pass up. At a great price tag is Yonder Alonso. He is 3-8 with a HR off Nolasco, and has recorded 2 hits in three straight games.
GPP Plays: With the Coor’s first baseman both in nice spts, I think the two above make for great gpp plays as well, but my favorite may be Pedro Alvarez. He is listed at 3B on FD, and 1B on DK (1st/3rd on Aces). My problem with him is that he may be too popular tonight in a pair with Machado on DK. His last three hits have all went for homers, including two in his last game.
Value Play: Alonso is my favorite value play at first, but on DK, I also like John Jaso if leading off. Have to be ok with his 0-18 performance over his last 6 games though.

Second Base
Cash plays: Second is a position I may target from the Coor’s game for cash, but at roughly the same price sits Jose Altuve vs the lefty Happ, who is the highest or second highest priced pitcher of the night. Altuve doesn’t have great numbers vs him not not a usual must play vs a lefty night, but is having a great series vs Toronto.
GPP plays: Dustin Pedroia can easily be the highest scoring second baseman tonight, but can also put up close to nothing like he has been in this series. Had the day off yesterday, which may be the key to breaking out of slump. I’m also a fan of Jace Peterson if leading off in a Braves stack.
Value Plays: I like the spot the Angels are in tonight, and the odd start time may actually help the hitters out. Johnny Giavotella is 2-5 off Hahn, and has a cheap price on FD and Aces. Will play him in Angel’s stack only though.

Third Base
Cash Plays: While Justin Turner is in play, I’ll take Josh Donaldson at roughly the same price or go even cheaper with Manny Machado. Donaldson went deep twice last night, and like him slightly more than Turner and more than Nolan tonight. Machado is 3-8 so far in the series against Texas without a HR. He has homered in his last 3 series if you are a narrative type player.
GPP plays: Adrian Beltre makes for a nice gpp option paired with Desmond and Lucroy. He’s 4-15 with a HR off Miley, but hasn’t had an XBH since his 2 HR night back on July 25th.
Value Play: Depending on the sites, I like both Aaron Hill and Adonis Garcia as value plays. Hill’s price is best at Dk, and has hit safely in six of his last seven games. Garcia is cheap on FD, homered in only AB vs Vogelsong, and has two or more hits in 8 of last 14 games, with at least one is 13 of those.

Shortstop
Cash Plays: I put Corey Seager in the list above to show you how his salary matches up with others at SS. I think he is almost a must on FD and Aces at SS tonight. Yes, he is in a great spot to go deep twice tonight, and is the one player I would consider paying the high price tag for on DK. For 2K cheaper on DK, you can get Carlos Correa. Correa has only gone deep twice since June 29th. I strongly think Seager is the best route to go at SS tonight.
GPP Plays: I can see Xander Bogaerts being on some cash rosters tonight, but I’m targeting the Red Sox more in gpp’s only tonight. Xander is another cold Sox hitter, who is 0-11 with 2 K’s in this series.
Value Play: Andrelton Simmons, Erick Aybar, and Adam Frazier can all be considered value plays tonight at shortstop. Well I’m not a fan of them individually, I like them all as part of their team stacks as low owned options.

Outfield
Cash Plays: Curtis Granderson should be the highest owned outfielder tonight on all sites. He’s 4-8 with 2 HR’s vs Evoldi, went deep last night, and seems to be seeing the ball well with 4 walks over last two games. His price point is why I feel he will be highly owned. Mike Trout is in a nice spot tonight. He’s 2-4 with a HR off Hahn, and is 6 for his last 10. I think he finally gets an XBH for the first time in over a week. For roughly the same price, Carlos Gonzalez will more than likely be higher owned than Trout though. Adam Jones is always a solid cash option, and tonight is no different. He homered in two straight games before being held hitless last night, and does have a homer in 3 Ab’s vs Griffin.
GPP Plays: Ian Desmond was one of the hottest hitters in baseball a few weeks ago, but has been in a slump lately. I still like to target him vs a lefty, and hope he breaks out of his 0-11 slump. Will be extremely low owned compared to the other top priced OF options tonight. Both Jackie Bradley Jr. and Matt Kemp are two options I like if paired with other players from their teams. Both the Sox and Braves are in nice spots to stack tonight if fading Coors.
Value Plays: Matt Joyce went deep last night off a pitcher making his debut, and gets to face another rookie pitcher tonight in Jenkins who has allowed 16 hits and 12 walks over his last 18 innings pitched. I really like him if batting in heart of the lineup tonight.
